HOLY SH- Ledyba had been certain; he had put his all into that last attack, and there was no way it for it to miss. This battle was over. Right? Well, one should never assume such things. When the Psybeam tore a hole through its Swift-B attack, Ledyba was not ready for it at all. " Dodge!" Screamed the boy; but there was no point in giving an order if the pokemon wasn't prepared to follow it on command. The beam punched into him forcefully, shoving the bug all the way back until he was slammed against the wall of the chamber, the wind, and consciousness, thoroughly punched right outta the Ladybug. It fell to the floor shortly after, the swirls in his eyes showing there was no consciousness left to fight in there. Doug broke into a sprint for his pokemon, dropping to his knees and sliding the rest of the way towards him. "Dude, you alright?" He asked the pokemon. Naturally, the knocked out bug did not answer, though the fact that it was breathing and didn't have a hole in its body was enough of a reason to calm down for the boy. He sighed in relief, before reaching for his Net Ball. "Good job dude. I'll check you at the Center in a few. Let's get you some rest for now." He said, returning the pokemon to his pokeball before turning back towards the other end of the room. The Munna herself had been taken out by Ledyba's reckless attack, thankfully, so Ledyba had at least not gotten himself knocked out for nothing. Doug took a look around the room, scratching at the back of his head in thought. There was left over webbing all over the place, burnt, cut, and otherwise abused. Wetness left in Dewpider's wake was also about, though it was not enough to be of much use. The dome like ceiling was a perfect spot for his pokemon, which could for the most part crawl on surfaces, but there wasn't much reason to do that... yet. Reaching for a Net Ball, he dearly hoped that Dewpider had gotten as much rest as she needed. Reaching into the inside of his long coat, he produced a simple Potion, blowing it onto the Net Ball to heal the pokemon inside before rearing his arm back. "Go, Dewpider!" He bellowed, throwing the Net Ball high in the air. The Potion was a regular potion; it wouldn't do much more than offer minor healing, and it would take a while to kick in. Hopefully it would be enough. Dewpider popped into the battlefield just as, perhaps even more so, wearily than before, having gotten some rest while Ledyba battled against her opponents successor. She looked worse for the wear, throwing a tired look Doug's way. He simply gave her a tight nod. It was sadly necessary. She gave him a weak nod back, before turning her eyes back to the other end of the room. Gacing about, Doug held his arm above his head. "Dewpider. Use Water Sport." He ordered, prompting the arachnid pokemon to take a deep breath, her bubble filling and growing quickly, forming a second bubble layer around her first, before it suddenly popped soundly. Water was spread all over the field, the boy holding up his hands to block out some of the water that washed over him. The abused webs on the floor, walls and ceiling glistened witht he wetness of the water, and Dewpider tested the dampened, slippery floor with her legs. Mobility would be the name of the game for them; all the slipperiness would help.
tl;dr: -Ledyba: Out for the count! - Used a potion on Dewpider, so she can be back in action! -Dewpider: Not so glad to be back in action. -Put a wet sign on the room cause Dewpider just Water sported all over the place. Dewpider Type Bug/Water Level 14, Gender female, Ability water bubble, MoveSet

MAYBE IT'D BE FASTER IF THE ONE WHO DISAPPEARED WAS ME. At least Munna put that highly powered Psybeam to use. Unfortunately that he couldn't use it to take down another Pokemon as well, but that was probably the best he could hope for considering he was fighting against a type disadvantage. Okay, now what? He wasn't sure what his next (and last) Pokemon should be. He let his fingers glide through his belt, deep in thought. He had to make a choice quick -- Meditite would be able to absorb some of the bug attacks because of its dual typing, but at the same time the Pokemon would only be able to give half damage if using Fighting type moves. Plus, it wasn't a guarantee that Ledyba was his only Bug/Flying type. For all he knew, he could have another Pokemon there that could use Flying type moves. That would be a problem. Slowpoke? Those thoughts were dashed when Doug sent out his Dewpider again. Right, Bug/Water. Wouldn't be very useful. He supposed that only left him with his most powerful Pokemon for the tier. "Alright, let's go, Solosis!" he threw the ball in the air, revealing, well, another ball-shaped Pokemon. She let out a determined cry, only for her to get splashed by Dewpider's Water Sport. Well, it was fortunate that this Pokemon was very calm, so she simply shook off the liquid with a quick swirl movement. Arthur took a good look at the field. Now that it was wet, he supposed that the Dewpider might be able to skid around it. Solosis wouldn't benefit because she floated. Okay, well, time to put their plan on their tracks. "Hidden Power, focus on the field." Solosis obeyed, letting her body glow white from accumulating power, before releasing it in waves. To the Dewpider and Doug, it would feel like a strong, chilly wind, but not enough to do any sort of damage. The ground, on the other hand, was a different story. With the sudden drop in temperature, the water puddles were now frozen into sheets of ice. Dewpider wouldn't be able to use them anymore as a way to skid since many of the sheets were not connected to each other, leaving patches of solid ground between them. Wasn't Dewpider still paralyzed? Arthur thought. Better to focus on the offensive, then. "Follow up with Psywave!"The spherical shaped Pokemon let out a cry as she unleashed a multicoloured, bright beam straight for her opponent. It seemed on the stronger side than usual, to which the Gym leader felt lucky. After all, the move was pretty fortune-based. There were times when he had been practicing with her that the move would give a much weaker beam. Now, let's just hope it hits.
Battle log: - Arthur sent out Solosis! - Solosis used Hidden Power [Ice] to freeze the battle field! - Followed up with Psywave! (x1.33 power from RNG!)

HOLY SH- Doug pulled out his pokedex as the leader revealed his final pokemon, narrowing his eyes. Well, the good thing was that Magic Guard wouldn't do anything to his strategies; he relied exclusively on direct damage for now. The bad thing was that the water had been frozen, so Dewpider wouldn't be sliding around as much as she would have wanted. "Get back here!" Ordered Doug, gesturing for her to come to his side. The patches of ice were not quite what Dewpider was hoping for but they were nonetheless slippery, with many interconnected by thin ice. Sadly, paralysis was still a problem for the Dewpider as it tried to go back to its trainer, its movements jerky and slower than normal, little grace in her skidding as she turned towards Doug. And naturally she got bitch slapped by the Solosis' Psywave from behind, face planting soundly on the floor and skidding the rest of the way to her trainer, who flinched with a low hiss as he crouched down and sprayed a bottle of Paralysis heal on her. "Uh... Go get 'er, champ." He said awkwardly as his pokemon peeled its face off the floor painfully, stumbling to her feet while glaring at him before turning on its heel to face its opponent, narrowing her eyes at him. "We are losing here. Deep end it is!" Muttered the boy to himself, before holding his arm out towards the other pokemon. "Use Spider Web... and Infestation!!" He ordered, the tiny Dewpider trembling as she reared back and spat the large webbing towards the other pokemon, the sticky substance flying towards it just as Doug shouted his next order. The webbing was coated in a strange liquid, which writhed and squirmed as over the webbing's surface, hundreds of diminutive vermin inside it just waiting to take a bite at the Solosis.

MAYBE IT'D BE FASTER IF THE ONE WHO DISAPPEARED WAS ME. Arthur didn't flinch when the Dewpider fell face flat onto the ice, but he did initially expect to be hit from the front, not behind. He then noticed that Doug had given her a Paralyze Heal, though the situation did not improve much on their part; she looked exhausted. This would be a good chance to try taking her out in the next hit, so that at least they could get on even ground with Solosis still having much energy left to spare. The next battle, from here on out, was going to be a test of endurance, unless he decided to play a little dirty and use his final move to do a draw, but that would depend on how much Arthur felt it was necessary for him to try again. Now there was a familiar sight--the sickly Infestation moving towards Solosis. He did not panic this time, compared to what had happened earlier with Gothita. "Freeze it, then use Rollout." the Solosis let out another cry, doing another Hidden Power that was directly focused on the oncoming attack instead of a spread. As a result, the chilling wind was directed more at his opponents rather than Arthur, though it almost felt like the room dropped a degree or two for a few moments. The web that was coming at her, since it was covered in a strange liquid, froze but continued to sail at her. With the next command, she quickly began to spin in a forward motion, dropping onto the ice and using it as a means to speed up her attack. She smashed through whatever web had touched her body and moved straight towards the weakened Dewpider. If she were to dodge, Solosis had the ability to manoeuvre her body to turn, but it would take a big arc for her to get back on track. Nevertheless, she was fast, making up for the time used to turn properly. He figured that this part of the battle was in the bag, but he would have to see if her trainer would come up with something to further lengthen the battle. As for the frozen web, it lost momentum with Solosis' Rollout, and so fell into the ground before smashing into a thousand tiny ice fragments.
Battle log: - Solosis used Hidden Power [Ice] to freeze the oncoming web! - Solosis then used Rollout to break through the web and charge right at Dewpider!

HOLY SH- Dewpider could only flinch as the other pokemon froze her web and smashed through it, leaving it in pieces on the floor. Doug only had on thought. Well shit. There went that idea. And the round for that matter. There was no way for Dewpider to dodge the quickly rolling Solosis in these conditions. Still, deep end.
" Bubble-B. Hold it." Was all the boy could say, prompting the spider to sharply take a deep breath, her head bubble glowing green as it began to grow in size. When the other pokemon's ram came, her water bubble popped soundly. It, every other single bubble welled up inside it, the bug-charged bubbles going off loudly like popped balloons as Dewpider fell to the floor unconscious, her body caught by the ray of her Net Ball before she could face plant again. "Did a whole lot more than your part. Good job." He praised as he reached into belt, looking over the field with a curled lip. There were very few webbings left in place and the floor was no longer wet, the water sports cold and defunct now that they had been turned into ice puddles. Needless to say, Joltik's stage had been ruined. So who should take the reigns of the show instead...? Not actually a choice; Hidden Power Ice took both Scyther and Sewaddle out of the equation. "Go!" He shouted, throwing his Net Ball high in the air, releasing a large, red and white bug type into the field. Larvesta had feared she would have to take her turn on this... As she gazed around her new surroundings wearily, her gaze eventually settled unto the two unknown people that were the gym leader and his pokemon, before she sought out her trainer for guidance and help. No matter how many times they did this, it hardly ever became any easier. His gaze met hers, steely and resolute as always, and she knew there was no getting out of this one, sighing as she turned her gaze back to her opponent. Doug held out his hand, not wasting a second. "String Shot and Ember, go!" Larvesta spat a jet of webbing at her opponent immediately on command, the sticky strings catching fire immediately after as it soared towards the Solosis.

MAYBE IT'D BE FASTER IF THE ONE WHO DISAPPEARED WAS ME. Arthur had to admit that even when backed against the wall like that, he was impressed that the Dewpider managed to do something before she fainted. That left Solosis a bit of recoil damage as she was sent flying back from the force of the bubbles popping, but since she was still rolling, the momentum helped her mitigate the damage somewhat as she spun in the air before coming to a halt thanks to her psychic abilities. Alright, she's probably a little tired by now and suffered a bit of damage, but that was alright. They still had a fair shot in being able to win this. The field was a mess though. Ice sheets, whatever pieces of web that were left from the previous fights, and a slightly broken dome ceiling and a charred wall. This was going to be a bit more costly than usual, but that was alright, he supposed. His parents had the money to cover the expenses. The more pressing issue was if this trainer was planning to use the field to his advantage once more. Admittedly, the thought had never occurred to him until this battle, making him decide that after this he was going to revisit his team and think of better strategies. The next Pokemon that came out though made Arthur's eyebrows raised. He...actually didn't know this one. It was definitely a bug, but it looked rather strange. Almost fiery with that brightly coloured plume sticking out of its...whatever that was. Well, he should not underestimate it. There must be a reason why he reserved this one for last, and it might be his most powerful Pokemon for all he knew. The Pokemon did not seem very keen to battle, but she looked more loyal to her trainer than her hesitation to fight. The first move sent out was a combination of String Shot and Ember--again, this boy didn't cease to surprise the Gym leader. Barrier was not going to work against that, so...time to get more risky. "Take that String Shot and use Rollout!" he commanded. Solosis hesitated for maybe half a second because dude the strings were on fire, but she supposed that she had to endure it. Alright, here goes! She spun forward once more, building up speed while floating before moving quickly towards the String Shot. Because it was sticky, Solosis quickly gathered up the web (along with the flames) and became a burning, spinning ball of web. It was quite a sight to behold, and she was aiming straight for the Larvesta.
Battle log: - Those bubbles managed to force Solosis back to her side of the field with a bit of damage. - At least they're tied, thank Arceus -Arthur - Solosis is like "um r u sure" with the Rollout but ok there she goes - She has become the String Shot. She is now the sun.

HOLY SH- Larvesta's eyes widened, clearly not having expected for the opponent to do that. Doug himself looked quite shocked. That was one way to deal with the damn attack! Still, he grit his teeth and narrowed his eyes, quickly forming a plan. "String Shot spam, go!" He ordered the tiny Larvesta, who gulped down as she quickly began spewing multiple String shots at the oncoming ball of flames, letting it gather and become larger and larger with each successive shot. After all, it would eventually have to stop rolling. He wouldn't want to be it when it finally stopped only to find itself in its own little self made oven. The fiery rolling ball smacked into Larvesta solidly, the bug grunting as the force tore it off the floor and pushed it back solidly. The fire was not too much of an issue; the force though? She couldn't help but cry out in pain, the bruising force pushing against her before her trainer's voice cut through her thoughts. "Turn up the heat!" He ordered, and she knew exactly what he meant. With a shrill cry, her body temperature exploded outwards, the air around her growing hazy and the temperature in the room rising abruptly as her body heat flooded outwards.

MAYBE IT'D BE FASTER IF THE ONE WHO DISAPPEARED WAS ME. First the room temperature had been knocked down a degree, and now it rose up to a rather uncomfortable level. The Rollout technique worked, but that large burst of heat was nothing to scoff at, and the fact that Solosis was now trapped in a flaming ball of String Shot fire was a problem too. Alright, let's see...with the web that thick, it would be too much of a risk to wait for the fire to burn through it. Solosis may have a good Special Defense stat, but even in that kind of heat she was bound to get hurt. "Retreat and use Hidden Power to break the web!" Arthur commanded. His Pokemon heard him despite being encased in String Shot, quickly changing directions and rolling away from the Larvesta, though it was noticeably slower than before. Even with Magic Guard on, it hurt for Solosis to roll because of the burn at her side. She had sustained it from that area being the closest to her opponent's Flame Body, so her only physical move was now shot. When she got back, she was still a white ball of flame, so she gathered up strength to release the attack, cooling her body down and breaking the encasing, though it didn't stop the fire. Arthur had to sidestep to avoid a flaming piece of web that was hurling right at him. Okay, now that she was free, the burn became more obvious, so the gym leader now needed to include that in his calculations. The Hidden Power barely affected the temperature of the battlefield, but it did soothe the burn a tad. Okay, time to switch to the offensive. "Psywave!" woo boy, Solosis was starting to feel the fatigue a little, but she did as told and built up energy again, sending another beam at the opponent. To their luck the multicoloured beam was once again larger than usual, moving straight at the opponent.
Battle log: - Ouch! Solosis got burned. Magic Guard mitigates the damage, but her attack is lowered and Rollout kind of hurts. - Retreat first, and then Solosis breaks out of her fiery shell with a good Hidden Power [Ice]! - Back to attacking--Solosis uses Psywave! (x1.39 from RNG)

HOLY SH- Turning up the heat had given Larvesta some breathing room, the opponent retreating to try and do away with the oven that the ball of webbing had become. Normally, Douglas was one to press the advantage, but... "Larvesta! Use Morning Sun!" Ordered the boy suddenly, holding his hand skyward. Larvesta sighed in relief at these orders, turning her gaze towards the light of the sun that came through the glass dome, her fur beginning to shine as the light was gathered within her. When the shining stopped, she looked less tired and worse for the wear, breathing in relief before looking over her shoulder and nodding at her trainer. Doug grinned, nodding back. They then turned their gaze back towards their opponent's in unison, Doug holding out his hand towards Solosis and grinning. "We'll take on it head on! Larvesta, use Ember-B!" He ordered as counter to the Psybeam. The heat flooded the room once again as the five horns on Larvesta's back ignited suddenly, expelling blazing plumes that swiftly went from orange and yellow to neon green. The plumes swirled together over the Larvesta, becoming a single, large sphere of flames that quickly collapsed into itself, converging into a single ball of neon green heat. The blast of Bug energy came out as a jet of focused, green flames, slamming into the Psywave as a counter force and nearly throwing Doug right off his feet when the shockwave rippled through the room.

MAYBE IT'D BE FASTER IF THE ONE WHO DISAPPEARED WAS ME. Oh shit, Arthur just missed an opportunity there. He had recalled that one of the moves he hadn't practiced all that often was Snatch, but he knew that he could've easily stolen that Morning Sun if he remembered it in time. Well, damn. Either way though, he needed Solosis to break out of the webbing first, so either way it seemed the hope was dashed. Was it possible to get that Pokemon to use the move again? Maybe in time, but for now he should probably figure out what to do next after that explosion resulting from the colliding beams of light. The gym leader made sure to plant his feet when he felt the force of the collision push him back some. Okay, they needed to act fast in order to use the resulting chaos to their advantage. Where did his Pokemon end up? Before he could answer his own question, he was suddenly slammed by his own Pokemon onto his chest, making him fall backwards. "Ow, fuck!" very unbecoming of a gym leader, but he didn't care at that point. He let out a groan as he picked up Solosis with his hands, checking if the Pokemon was still fit to fight. She let out a pained cry of her own, but she looked very much conscious. "Are you alright?"Solosis whined, but she shook off his grip in order to float on her own. She then let out another cry that sounded more determined this time around, so he assumed that she was alright to continue. Alright--oww--he felt like he could go on for some more turns, probably. He couldn't wait to relax after this battle was over. Okay. "Wait with Snatch." he muttered to his Pokemon before she went back to the battle field, stopping at a certain point before staring at her opponent, bidding one's time. He didn't want her to send out attacking just yet, preferring to see what Doug would do before figuring out how to counter.
Battle log: - The resulting explosion knocked both Solosis and Arthur off their feet! (even if Solosis doesn't have any feet). - After a quick check, Solosis is back on the field!

HOLY SH- The shockwave passed and Doug found himself still on his feet, though his straw hat had nearly been blown away, only hanging onto him from the thread on his neck. Larvesta had managed to ground herself to the floor. Doug wished he had more cash to get her a few moves; she always did very well with physical stuff. Oh well, he would have more time to consider it once they were through with the fight. For now, they still had to win the match! He didn't know exactly what went between the leader and his pokemon, other than the hilarious curse the man had thrown earlier, but they probably had made a plan while they couldn't hear. Doug would just have to wing it for the moment; there was still much they could do. His eyes moved on their sockets from side to side sharply, before a grin tugged at his lips. "Larvesta! Use ember!" He said, holding his hand out... towards the floor! Plumes of flames ignited over the Larvesta's horns as she quickly caught on to the idea, the plumes expelling towards the floor around her suddenly. A hissing noise filled the chamber as a damp, heavy heat befell upon them, the hot blaze turning the water still coating the floors into steam, clouding the battlefield !"You and I both know how this goes! Use string shot!" He ordered. A sudden piece of webbing soared out of the thick steam, attaching itself to the ceiling. The vine began moving swiftly, swinging about as if weighed by something. The trajectory could only just barely be tracked by following the web string's movements on the roof, the thick steam not quite managing to reach all the way to the ceiling. It moved in an arc to the Solosis's left, the Larvesta seemingly swinging about in the thing like friggin Tarzan, closing the distance with the Solosis to slam into her! The webbing came out of the steam soon after, revealing a the web-vine, weighed down by a large ball of webbings to continue it's course. Wait what-" Ember-B." The same beam of neon green flames from earlier speared through the steam at about the same time, seeking the Solosis like laser guided karma.

MAYBE IT'D BE FASTER IF THE ONE WHO DISAPPEARED WAS ME. Well, that didn't look good. With ice from Solosis' Hidden Power now melted, it was hard to see and gave Larvesta more spaces to move around. He trusted that his Pokemon was still working with Snatch, but he didn't want to just shout that out until the right moment. Problem was that he couldn't even see his Pokemon right now, and that threw out his psychic ability out the window. He had little choice but to buckle down and wait for his opponent to give another command, which came pretty quickly but not exactly helpful. Doug was a tricky one, alright, even if he looked rather young for a trainer. A large amount of string shot was sent out, hanging on the ceiling. Was he going to use that to swing towards Solosis? "Hold!" he called. Not yet, not yet-- At last there was a moment when it left the steam, revealing that it was just a ball of web. How did the little bug type even make that much in such a short span of time? No matter, it turned out that it was just a decoy! Sure enough, Doug issued Ember-B without hesitation, but it was also the moment Arthur was waiting for. "Use Snatch!" he commanded. His Pokemon focused at where the beam came from before disappearing in an instant. The move was supposed to be faster than a Quick Attack, but it could not be used consecutively without any energy to steal since that was the main intent of the move. It really wore down Solosis as well. "Swivel behind and slam into them!" He decided not to use a ranged move because it would take too long to charge, plus his Pokemon was becoming exhausted with how many moves she had been doing. This battle was not going to last long, so they needed to wrap this up soon. At least Solosis was able to carry out the command properly--trying not to show exhaustion, she appeared right behind Larvesta and used the momentum to basically tackle her opponent as hard as she could, taking care not to use the side where she had a burn.
Battle log: - Solosis used Snatch to dodge the Ember-B! - Too tired rn after that almost-teleport like move, slam into that bug instead of shooting another beam :0

HOLY SH- What the flying f- WHAM! The Solosis slammed into Larvesta just as she tried to swivel to face it, the blow making her reel back, her body nearly swinging. The plumes of fire on her horns lighted up however, jetting in place to keep her from flipping over, her body's movement coming to a grinding halt. Her breathing came in slow, yet heavy, and her hit side was beginning to bruise. Doug was glad he had taken the time to use Morning Sun earlier. Yet he knew the battle couldn't go for much longer, for her sake. The Tarzan maneuver was a bust, and like that one of his more strange tactics was down the drain. Clicking his tongue. He committed the move Snatch to memory. He would be sure to remember that move for future reference. Close quarters were a dangerous game to play, but play them he shall; it was Larvesta's favored range, after all. And it brought forth an opportunity that hadn't been before. "Use String shot and Absorb-B!" He ordered her suddenly, Larvesta's head snapping into a sharp nod before her horns suddenly lighted up. No plums of blazing fire came, the horns shining a neon green light instead before the webbing suddenly came flying out of them. It flew towards the Solosis, the green glow pulsing over the webbing, seeking to drain the energy of the other pokemon.

MAYBE IT'D BE FASTER IF THE ONE WHO DISAPPEARED WAS ME. Aw shit this was not good. Arthur had somewhat hoped that the blow would render his opponent moot for a bit longer (or at least send her back some distance so that Solosis could prep for another ranged attack), but she managed to plant her tiny feet down and steel herself for the next attack. Oh boy, alright. It looked like it was going to be a last hurrah, kind of like what happened earlier with Munna. Letting out a heavy sigh, Arthur figured that it was time to end this. "Psywave! Give it all you've got!"And Solosis knew that if her trainer was saying something like that, it was going to be the end of the line. With the faintest nod, she did her best to gather energy before the webs would hit her, concentrating for one last attack. She knew that even with the multicolored beam, she wouldn't be able to stop the web from absorbing her energy, so the only thing she could do was knock out her opponent before she even had a chance to get the energy back. Letting out a loud cry, she focused her beam at the dead center of the web, piercing it with ease as it moved right for her opponent. It was probably the largest beam she had ever mustered, which was quite a sight to behold; it was almost blinding. Because they were in such a close range, there was little possibility for her to miss, unless Larvesta would find a means to jump out in time. And for Solosis, she was too tired to dodge, so she accepted the web and the pain that would follow afterward. She hoped that she had fought well.
Battle log: - Finale, let's go: Solosis powers up for a Critical Hit Psywave aimed right at Larvesta! - She takes the webs in the process, too tired to dodge.

HOLY SH- The Gym Leader gave his order, and Douglas could tell. This was the climax. What to do; abort absorb and try to counter with Ember? Considerable energy had already gone into the string shot-Absorb B combo, and Doug was not sure if Larvesta could disengage the move to try and power up Ember in time. Deep End it is. The would have to drain them until there was nothing left to blast them with. "No backing down! This is our last stand, Larvesta! Absorb-B, Full power!" Roared out the boy in order, her pokemon releasing a shrill screech to echo his commands. Her webbings had latched onto the enemy, and on the command the plumes on her horns ignited once again, shining brightly as they began to forcefully drag the energy out of the Solosis. The psychic type's blast slammed fully into her, dragging a pained screech out of the fiery bug as the beam tore into her. "Hold fast, girl!" Her trainer's voice rose over her screech. "You can do this!" He told her, holding out his arm towards her. She held onto her focus mightily, the webbings glowing as bright as the plumes on her horns as energy course through them.
