QUESTS.

Quests are adventure-filled events that trainers can undertake in order to acquire Pokemon, fame, fortune and much more. Quests are ranked on a scale of one to five stars with one star quests being the easiest and five star quests being the absolute hardest. The number of stars also determines how dangerous the quest is; the more stars there are, the more likely that a trainer and his or her Pokemon are to be harmed. However, the more difficult and dangerous quests also offer greater rewards since there is greater risk involved. Six star quests exist, but they toss trainers into near impossible challenges to complete. While five star quests are already considered nightmares, six star quests make five star quests look incredibly safe and bearable by comparison.

When you wish to take a quest, simply post in this thread dictating which quest you want to take. You may only take up to two quests at a time. Whenever you finish a quest, staff will give you your rewards in the quest thread itself. Be mindful of any and all restrictions on the quests listed here. Quests that are three stars and below can be RP’d out by members among themselves. Quests that are four stars and above MUST be GM’d by staff members.

Quests are able to be soloed; for quests that are RP’d out by members, there are not any set post or word requirements. However, know that the harder the quest, the more it will take to complete it. If staff feels you need to provide more story to a quest you complete, they will let you know. For lower-ranked solo quests, there are word requirements: 1 Star quests must be at least 1000 words long; 2 Star Quests must be at least 1500 words long, and 3 Star Quests must be at least 2000 words.

You are allowed to create your quests. If you wish to make one, fill out the template below and post the quests here. If staff accepts them, they will be added to the list of missions that you are able to take.

There is now a LIMIT to the amount of quests you can do. You can start a quest ONCE a week, and you can only be in a maximum of two quests at a time. When you finish a quest, you must wait a week from the day the quest is complete before you can do another one. While solo quests are allowed, please try to keep them to a minimum. If we see people continuously spamming solo quests, we will be forced to institute a hard limit on solo quests, and we really don't want to do that.

Objective: Escort Archaeologist Henry through Helos Ruins. This can be repeated.

“Someone battle me! I don’t care who! If you beat me, I’ll give you a reward!”

Objective: Defeat Ace Trainer Mikey in a battle. This quest can be repeated.

“All of these stupid Pokemon get roosting on top of the buildings and keep messing with power lines and such. Someone get out there and scare them away!"

Objective: Prevent the Pokemon from destroying the city’s power lines and equipment. This quest can be repeated.

“I need specific plants from Tucana Rainforest. However, these plants only grow in territory inhabited by hostile wild Pokemon. Bring the plants to me, even if you have to fight in self-defense.”
