Even as a coward, he is still adventurous, being one of the first, never the first, to investigate a new location or disturbance. With all his faults his adventurous side shows through in his inquisitive nature, never afraid to ask questions or learn more about the world and others. He makes sure to keep out of the way of larger Pokemon though and making sure not to irritate those that lack patience.

Structure and order brings comfort after all. The Pokemon doesn't hesitate to take a hit for her companions and trainers, being rather resilient to pain. When she isn't busy telling others what to do, the Pokemon can be rather absent-minded to the point of clumsy. Even if she knows what she wants other do, Espurr never seems to know what her own wants are.
