Elise's beginning to regret not asking for a demonstration.
In front of the small blonde girl lies what should be a tent, yet is only a pile of lightweight nylon and tarp. She sits with her legs crossed, her hands desperately trying to figure out where the long poles are supposed to go. They trace every part of the material, searching for little openings with little to no luck. With each passing moment she begins to wonder if she bought a defective, or if she had been given the wrong manual, but rereading it over and over only dismissed those possibilities.
Which left the idea that she's simply an idiot.
Her Happiny, Coppelia, sits on the other side of the tent, little hands holding onto the material, a mixture of confusion and sleep on it's face. She had been hoping to get the tent up before dark, yet the sun had long disappeared from the canopy above and it was practically pitch black, if not for the lantern she had and the fire she'd tried to make. The poor thing was still only young, and needed to sleep soon else Elise suffered from a moody little Coppelia.
Stumbling around the texture with the pole in her hand, she zoned out for barely three seconds before realising she'd finally gotten the pole inside the tent, and she broke into a wide smile, laughing with a happiness; but an underlying disbelief.
"We finally did it!" Her voice raises three octaves as she practically yells out her excitement, leaping off the ground to observe her work in her joy.
She doesn't even notice the bird Pokémon scatter from her screaming.
