TAKE EVERY SINGLE TEAR FOR ALL THE WORLD TO HEAR Actually, Senri wasn't here to train compared to what other trainers were usually doing here. It just so happened that in the midst of his stay in Vega City, he managed to get a discount coupon to a bus ride here, so he figured why not. The mountain air was nice and reminded him of the colder days in Sinnoh, especially when he tried to trek Mt. Coronet with his old team. Since they were out of the city, his whole team was with him except Fuwa, who he was afraid of being swept away by the winds that were starting to pick up a tad. Either way, the little balloon turned out to be pretty lazy and was completely fine with staying in the Poke Ball where it was nice and warm. Kuchu and Mitsuru were racing who could climb up the fastest, while Hikaru was trying to be brotherly and warning them of some slippery portions. Senri was at the back of this line of Pokemon because it had been a while since he had last gone hiking, and to his shame his legs were starting to ache. It was only when the four companions heard shouts of help that their playful banter stopped and they rushed to the source. It sounded like a Pokemon, but because Senri was gifted with the ability to understand all Poke-speak, that particular detail did not matter to him. It seemed to have come from a small plateau jutting out of the mountain. When they got there, he was shocked to see that there was a small girl being crushed by a rock and an Igglybuff trying to help her. What the heck happened? Was there a landslide here? Questions later, he decided, as he tried to figure out the best way to push that big rock. Hikaru couldn't use electric attacks because that could easily shock the girl underneath, but what about water? No, perhaps it would be better to just work together and shove the stone until it rolls off. He sincerely hoped that the girl wasn't dead. The trainer couldn't quite tell because of how big the rock was. "Hold on!" he said, trying to give some sense of comfort. He and his Pokemon then positioned themselves on one side of the rock and on his signal gave it a huge heave. With their combined efforts, they were able to push the rock off, watching it rolls down the slope and hoping that it didn't hit someone else. "Hey, are you alright?" he was fearing for the worst, but this little girl seemed to be breathing, so she might be stronger than she looked. Still, she looked younger than his own brother, so he wondered what was she doing here all the way up in the mountains. [/i] Lori heard the voice, but she couldn't exactly see the source. Turning her head did nothing but she the feet of Pokemon and another person. She waved her hand as a sign of greeting, but it might be interpreted as someone panicking under the rock. Accepting one's mortality is rather easy, at least for this particular straight forward girl. Lili had went to help with pushing, throwing herself at the rock while the others tried pushing it. She let out a squeal of happiness seeing the over-sized training tool roll over the side of the slope. Now it was going to be someone else's problem. "Hey, are you alright?" Once again the voice called out. Once the pressure had left her back though, Lori jumped up in the air as though rebounding like a ball would after hitting the ground. She patted herself over, checking for anything broken, but with barely any scrutiny. Satisfied by her quick checkup, she then went to greet her saviors. There were quite a few of them it appears. It must be nice to have so many friend! "Yes! I'm fine now thanks!" she replied, leaning forward and cracking her back a bit. Oh, it felt nice enough, like waking up in the morning for a stretch. "Thanks for your help! I'm Lori and this is Lili! What's your name? Are you here to train too?" she asked, beaming with a wide smile, picking up her Igglybuff and showing it to the young man. The Igglybuff let out a happy giggle, just happy that her trainer was alive.

TAKE EVERY SINGLE TEAR FOR ALL THE WORLD TO HEAR Woah, this girl was surprisingly energetic after being pinned down by a rock for who knew how long. Was this, perhaps, the energy of youth? He supposed it wasn't the time for joking, but as he watched her examine her body to see if anything was out of place, Senri supposed that he could relax now. She seemed fine, and he hoped that it would remain that way. "My name's Senri, nice to meet you." he responded with a smile. Uh, he supposed he should introduce all of his Pokemon as well. "This is Hikaru, Mitsuru, and Kuchu." he added, gesturing at his Minun, Piplup, and Wooper respectively. Hikaru then jumped back on his shoulder while waving at the two strangers, while Mitsuru puffed out his chest, feeling proud of himself. Kuchu semeed to be doing his own thing as usual after he said "You're welcome!" with that same grin Senri had always seen him with. "Oh, uh, I'm not here to train. I just randomly got a discount ticket so I decided to take a hike, but if ever we do find any wild Pokemon up here that's willing to battle, that would be great." especially because his team's typing was not very diversified right now. He had two water types, one electric, and one ghost/flying. It wasn't exactly a good spread, considering that there were still many other kinds of Pokemon that he would have trouble countering. "So wait, I guess you were training?" she seemed very young to be training here with no one but a tiny Igglybuff, but he supposed that was her business. "Did that rock just fall out of nowhere?" he asked in case there might be other incidents that could happen again without warning. He was also scanning the area while he was talking, mostly because he couldn't quite trust Kuchu yet on his own. Sure enough, the Wooper was standing near the ledge, presumably looking for where the huge rock went. "Kuchu! Don't lean too far and come back here." he scolded. The water type did stand up straight, but did not go back to his trainer's side. Instead, he seemed to be examining the other pebbles. Alright, Senri supposed that was better than risking him falling off. TAKE EVERY SINGLE TEAR FOR ALL THE WORLD TO HEAR "Wait...you were doing push ups with that huge rock on top of your back?" he wasn't sure whether to feel impressed or concerned. Probably both, considering that this girl looked a lot smaller than he and yet she was capable of such feats. Was she even human? She sure looked like it. Senri nibbled on his thumb a little with a thoughtful expression. He'd probably get squished into a pancake if he had been in the same situation as Lori. Well, he supposed he should just be thankful that she was safe and sound. "I definitely agree that this place is good for the body, and the soul as well if you're into that." he inhaled deeply before letting out a sigh. Ah yes, the mountain air was crisp and fresh. Hikaru had followed suit, and...was that Kuchu trying to nibble on a pebble? Mitsuru approached his fellow teammate to try to talk some sense into him, but it didn't seem like the Wooper was making any effort to listen. "A walk sounds great." Senri said with a smile, electing to ignore the Igglybuff's comment. How bad could it be? It was clear that the rock problem was actually something she (sort of) consciously put on herself. "I don't know much about this mountain, so I'll let you lead the way." he gestured his two Water types to stop messing around and to follow them. TAKE EVERY SINGLE TEAR FOR ALL THE WORLD TO HEAR Senri supposed it was hard to see this girl exercising so much because of her small frame and that large jacket, but if she managed to survive under the weight of a huge rock relatively unscathed, then there must be some truth to her words. The young man rubbed the back of his head in slight embarrassment, "The only real exercise I've been doing is walking and trekking, I guess." he muttered, and while it did keep him fit, it did not give him a lot of muscle. Not that he wanted to be buff or anything; it just felt strange if it turned out that this little girl had more muscle than he did. Hikaru wasn't so comfortable with the way the Igglybuff was talking about her trainer. What if they wandered into someplace dangerous? His fur bristled at the thought, yet at least Senri had other Pokemon with him in case something would happen. Running into a Ground type here, for example, would be devastating if it was just him. Mitsuru and Kuchu were behind the small group of human and Pokemon, now a bit more focused on where they were going. Senri looked confused at Lori's comment, however, "Geodude?" sure they were common Pokemon in mountains and caves, but why specifically did she ask about it? He kept his eyes peeled, though he really couldn't distinguish the difference between rough, round rocks and living, breathing Pokemon. Actually, there was an unsettling amount of different sized rocks here. He suspected that some of them might even be Graveler or Golem. He was starting to get nervous--this wasn't a safe path, wasn't it? "Lori--" he started before the Minun on his shoulder screamed to duck. He did as told and barely dodged a chunk of rock hurled at him. "Oh shit, what was that?" his heart was pounding at the close call, but it didn't look like that was the last of them. His Water type Pokemon, now in alert mode, ran to his side, ready to fight if needed. Senri could hear rumbles of anger all around him, though most of them were faint. "Lori...this is Geodude territory, isn't it?" he was too anxious to scold her. They needed to get out of here now. TAKE EVERY SINGLE TEAR FOR ALL THE WORLD TO HEAR "Don't do that! You're only going to wake up more of them!" Senri hissed as he tried to grab the little girl, but the Geodudes woke up first and didn't waste any time chucking more things at them. He cursed as he had to duck and quickly dodge other stuff sailing at them. Hikaru and Mitsuru helped in trying to destroy or at least push away some of the other rocks. Kuchu seemed to be enjoying himself, letting out a few happy cries as he hopped around. The trainer had little choice but to follow the young girl's lead as they ran through Geodude territory. "Mitsuru, try to cover the back; Hikaru, help Lori!" the Minun noticed that she didn't need to seem any help though, especially when a huge rock was hurled at them. Before any of them could react, the little girl managed to break the thing into a bunch of pieces with just her hand. To say that Senri was impressed was an understatement. But no time for standing there gawking, they needed to get out of here! They soon reached the part of the path where it suddenly forked. Senri had no idea where they were going to go, but before he could even decide, a Graveler suddenly appeared to block the northern path. That left them little choice but to take the western one, which seemed to be clear of angry Pokemon at the moment. The large, hulking rock let out a roar before suddenly making itself glow. Senri immediately panicked the moment he saw it. Feeling a bigger rush of adrenaline, he picked up Lori and yelled at his Pokemon to quickly head to the western path. He had to lunge to make sure to avoid the resulting explosion, making the earth under him rumble and the Geodudes to stop clamouring for a few moments. "Are you alright?" he asked Lori before trying to take a look at his other Pokemon. Ugh, he felt sore from that sudden jump, and they were not out of the woods yet. Why did the Graveler try to steer them here, anyway? When he heard cracks underneath him, he couldn't help but freezing. Oh shit, they wouldn't-- before he could stand up, the ground around them crumbled and gave way, making them fall into the darkness. He thought for a moment before the darkness enveloped him he could see the Geodudes glare at them.
