A pair of ragged looking trainer and his Pancham entered the town. They seem in look for place to rest their weary body. However, a loud growl from the Pancham's stomach made his trained noticed his Pokemon's plight. Ah, well... Absentmindedly, he reached for where he kept the berries and all form of travel necessities. Unfortunately, as his touched it... yes, he found out that it's empty. A single glance at his hungry Pancham made both of them sigh. Even if he goes some store to get some raw ingredients for his cooking now, he'll be too exhausted to even cook properly.
"...That's no helping it, let's go to the nearest store shall we?" he offered to his Pancham.
(I'd even eat scraps at this point)
"Tell that to me again I'll smack you senseless, stupid. You're not allowed to eat scraps and trash. If you're a fighter then nutrients is as important as your life. Remember that."
Yes, he's very picky about the nutrients to feed his Pokemon. The boy's name is Alro. It's needless to say that he's a Pokemon Trainer. However what makes the fifteen years old different from the most is the fact that he's a morph. Muscles unlike those of teens of his age, bandanna that covered his head spines and the discoloration of his skin. He tried to cover as much as possible to prevent people to get bothered by it... but when the spot around his right eye is discolored too, what can he do? Well, not like people n this region would somehow as bothered as the people back home.
"Goro, pick one of the restaurant, we'll go there."
Goro picked one indeed and they moved there, all in hope for nice food. The moment they entered, it's seem quite busy, but luckily there are some free tables. Alro picked the one rather secluded. He's not quite comfortable with crowds. Now it's time to wait for some food... hopefully it'll be a good one...

Mission, in process. He practically owned the restaurant by now, what with the way he handled himself in there. Douglas had arrived a few days back to Hamal Town on... official business, and had decided to stay for a while and check out the place since he would apparently be spending a lot of his time in there. What he found was a town reminiscent of Shaula, his own hometown. Which he supposed shouldn't have been too shocking. His mother must have found comfort in the similarities between Shaula and her hometown while she and his father were looking for a new home to start their family. He had 'finished' with the official business on the very first day he arrived, (though finish was perhaps not the most accurate term), and had immediately sought out a restaurant, just to try the local cuisine. What he found was... adequate, but nowhere near what he could find acceptable to serve to clients. So naturally, he had talked to one of the many people who owned a restaurant within the town, and after a lot of talking, bargaining, and demonstrating, had managed to get himself a job inside a kitchen. And had promptly wrestled control of it off the main chef's hands and made everyone within the kitchen submit to his will as the new main chef. Cooking had gotten better in the short time he had been there, so he considered it a win. That said, he didn't spend all that much time in the kitchen himself. He wouldn't be remaining in Hamal Town for much longer, so it would have been foolish make them rely on his cooking in particular only for him to leave within a week. He worked mostly outside, serving as one of the faces of the restaurant and interacting with the customers. Speaking of which. "Good evening, gentlemen, welcome to our humble restaurant!" He greeted the two newcomers cheerily as he approached their table with two menus in hand, noting he didn't recognize either of them. The town wasn't small at all, but he thought he would have recognized such a... unique silhouette. That, and they looked a tad too ragged and weary to be from anywhere near. "I take it you are not native to our lovely town? Well, if you've any questions, ask away. I'll do my best to answer." He said as placed both menus across from them, humming. "We offer a great variety of delicious, nutritious dishes inspired in the renown, eastern cooking of Johto. Our specialty for the evening is Gyoza~! My name is Douglas, and I'll be serving you this evening. If you need help with anything, I'll be at your beck and call, sirs." Ah, the service industry. Had been a while since he had done it. Usually he just worked on his own stalls, or manned the counter as a one man kitchen; he hadn't really interacted with the clients much since his father had graduated him to helping at the kitchen at their family's diner. "So!" He said as he pulled out a small notepad, smiling. "What may I serve you, sirs?"

...Well, that was unexpectedly quick. Alro was both a bit surprised by such welcome and honestly impressed. The younger boy should know that he's a morph, yet doesn't even bat his eyes at all. In some other restaurants he might doesn't get judged for being one, but he probably got a bit of stink eyes from the waiter if he appears like this, all sweaty and dirty. So honestly, this service really bought a bit of smile to his face. It's nice to get treated nicely when all you want is to get a good rest. Even his Pancham who usually would act slightly aggressively at the waiters that gave him inadequate service somehow just looked at him momentarily and nodded in approval, so that's a great thing.
"Good evening, yeah, we're not local. Kind of travelling really. Hamal is kind of our first town in a while... probably two weeks."
He made a mental note to give the boy more tip. That was quite a good marketing there. So the specialty for the day is Gyoza. Hmm, hearing that, Alro took out his nutrient book. It kind of his way to keep Goro's diet in check. Let's see... He looked at the menu and did a mental calculation of the nutrients. It's kind of a habit. Yes, he's not a nutritionist, but he's still at least keep balance of training and nutrients in mind. Goro too did a good job, so he guess it'll be a good idea to get what he want.
"Would the Gyoza filled with Tepig or Torchic, or could we somehow customize? If it's Torchic, I'll take two, please. Also I'd like some mapo tofu for myself, meanwhile, I'd like some soup, preferably with tofu, vegetable and young bamboo shoot for my Pancham. Is something like that available? Of course if not, anything close would do. My Pancham does not have any allergy, so it should be fine. I'd also love to try one more dish of your suggestion, please. Two of us could share. That's all I think, unless probably you have anything else to recommend."
Well, with that ordered, he's hoping to get something really nice, especially... now that he think of it, this guy doesn't have scent of someone who just merely carrying the food. He have scent of someone who works on the kitchen. Is he helping family business?

Mission, in process. "You must be exhausted! We'll endeavor to make this brief and swift, sir." He said, bowing briefly before beginning to write the orders on his pad. The boy hummed along in a cheery manner as he wrote down every order, nodding at the young man's question regarding the Pancham's meal. "No worries sir, we'll have no problems with this order." He informed the young man. "You are in luck; Torchic meat is in abundance currently. Your two sets of Gyoza should be ready within 10 minutes! Your Mapo Tofu and your Soup should be ready within 25 minutes." He said as he picked the two menus from the table, before bowing at them. "Before I leave, May I get you anything to drink?" He asked the two, taking whichever orders came his way before leaving for the counter, placing in the order before immediately grabbing at some meals that had been awaiting for him. He would return ten or so minutes later, after having distributed multiple meals and served multiple other clients, with the young man's Gyoza, laying the two sets onto the table. "The main course should be here in around 15 minutes, sir." He informed them, before taking a look around the place. Not many new clients, and all of them had already been attended by the other waiters within his shift. Oh well, that left him some time to chatter. "So, Sir, what brings you to our lovely town, if you don't mind me asking? Where you aiming for it in particular, or just a happy accident?" He asked curiously, a polite smile on his face.

"At this point, waiting doesn't seem to be even much of a hassle with how your customer service is," Alro praised, smiling yet again. Something about the younger boy's cheerful attitude made him like it somehow. "To me, 25 minutes of waiting seem to be worth it. I think I'd like some water first, then if there is anything more I'll call you. Ah, yeah, preferably cool water, no ice, just... cool one."
The appetizing smell was... to say, divinely... but rather dangerously tempting for the stomach. Yes, despite saying that waiting isn't a hassle, both of the trainer and the Pokemon know the moment they are served the food, they'd most likely gobble them up without even tasting... but that won't do. Goro knows that Alro would smack him for not appreciating the food more, while Alro himself prefer to eat slowly to enjoy the food. And just when they thought about it, the Gyoza came. With a curt "thank you for the food", Alro took the first piece of his and dipped it on a sauce.
He took out another book, and this one seem to be a recipe book. The youth took a bite and...
"...Hoh, how interesting, the wrapping is uncharacteristically crispy and at the same time soft... the Torchic meat is seasoned and blended in well with the vegetable mix... It have such an umami flavor yet not so salty that it would make you nauseated... truly... this is something really delicious!"
Faster than his mouth commented, Alro's hand already busy putting in both review, and at the same time ingredient, then sketches of how it looked. Yes, this is a really bold move, but culprit himself is not going to spread this or sell it, so it should be alright.... right? Meanwhile, after enjoying one of the Gyoza, Goro decided to eat it voraciously, just like a hungry beast. He can no longer hold it back. Alro just stared unamusedly at the guy. The moment the waiter returned, he thought it was such a good time too. He'll ask for second serving for both of them. However, he seem came to chat too.
"Oh, me? Well, you can say we practically live on the road. However, I heard the hot spring here is beneficial for the health. I'm thinking to bond more with this guy over here," he pointed at his Pancham with his thumb. "Other than that I'm pretty much interested in what cuisines the store have. My budget is kind of limited for full blown culinary tour, so I told this guy here to pick. He picked this store. I can't say that he's wrong, especially with how good the gyoza is. My praise to the chef. And with that, second serving please!"

Mission, in process. Ah, he was serving another chef, it appeared. What was protocol for when a client undressed a dish again...? He hadn't read anything about this on the waiter's manual he had skimmed over, so he supposed he would just let it pass. "Well done. Quite the throughout analisis of the dish." He praised, bowing. Didn't matter what the client did, he couldn't exactly call them out regardless of what he thought. Granted, he didn't mind, and he doubted the owner's of the restaurant did either. "Ah, Perpetual travelers?" He knew how that was, he supposed. He didn't often stay in one place these days. Unless he needed to make cash anyways. "You must have been throughout all of Stellara by now." He said with a hum. "Our hotsprings are quite the amazing wonder, yes. Thanks to them, our town has served as one of Stellara's most famous and frequented tourist attractions for years. Though the town is much like Shaula in it's old structure and ways, it has become home to many old fashioned Hotels and resorts as a consequence of them." He was just parroting trivia at this point; sadly, that was part of his job, and hey, at least it was technically part of the conversation. "Thank you for choosing us amongst all the excellent restaurants of Hamal for your patronage." He said with a smile, bowing low to the little Pancham before righting himself up and raising his pad. "Another set of Gyoza coming right up. They should be here within 10 minutes; the main course should be arriving shortly after, sirs." He informed the muscular man as he wrote down everything on his pad, before bowing at the two once more. He left for the counter immediately after, placing the order before glancing about the restaurant. More clients had walked in. He huffed, tightening the apron on his back and nodding to himself. Yet more work to do. 10 minutes came and went swiftly, the boy bringing the Man and his Pancham their Gyoza right on the clock, gently placing it on their table. "The main course should be already in less than 3 minutes, sirs." He informed the two, before glancing about the restaurant once more. "So, will you only be gracing our restaurants and hot springs with your presence, sir?" He questioned, humming. "Hamal Town is famous around Stellara not only for its hot springs, but also its Martial Artists. It's much like Shaula Town in that regard."
