“You’ve got to be kidding me.” These were the first words out of Damian’s mouth the moment he picked up the excessively worried spike of concern coming from his Riolu’s aura when he saw the Jackal ‘mon running his way, approaching with a look of what he recognized was nothing short of terror. “He got away again?” he grumbled, throwing his hands up out of sheer exasperation; to which the Riolu fervently nodded. “You remember what direction Mikey last ran off in?” he continued, before the Riolu nodded a bit—it was far easier for the Emanation Pokémon to concentrate on specific auras unlike his friend Damian could; there was the problem of his friend coming down with a terrible headache the longer he was exposed to so many auric hazes in an area. (Come on, we have to hurry! He might’ve gotten himself into trouble!) the Riolu cried out, quickly tugging at his friend’s leg, before pointing ahead of him. (We have to find Mikey before he gets even more lost… or worse, kidnapped!) “Whoa, whoa, Alyosha, I know you’re worried, but try to calm down a little… if you panic so much, I won’t be able to rely on your ability… you know how it is with mine right now,” he hissed a little, gently scratching under his friend’s chin. Slowly but surely the Fighting-type calmed down enough to stop panicking, before he nodded encouragingly in his direction. “Alright, that’s good. Now, can you focus on where Mikey’s aura is headed? Then we can follow it,” he remarked, crouching down so that he was eye-to-eye with the Riolu, who then closed its eyes and adopted a look of intense concentration. While it took quite a while to actually pick up on where the Squirtle’s aura had gone off to, the Riolu’s eyes then snapped open and he chirped, (Follow me,) before heading off in a certain direction; Damian following him as he weaved through the crowd. Riolu currently accompanying Damian, other 'mons are in their containment units. Details of missing Squirtle: Smaller and lighter than normal.
