 I AM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT "What do you think? Where should we go next?" Lily looked down at Snow as they walked through Vega City. It felt weird being home again, just out of reach of her childhood abode. It was here that she first met Snow and began her Pokemon journey. The nostalgia was almost more satisfying than the gala, although the games and vendors were rather exciting. Snow was lagging behind, having eaten the majority of Lily's funnel cake despite the trainer's best efforts to wrestle the snack away. Snow bounded forward toward one of those silly hammer challenges. Lily shook her head and smiled. "I don't think so," she said cheerfully, walking past. Snow followed, looking a little disheartened. "It need to be something with stuffed animals." Lily nodded to herself. She loved stuffed animals. Before Snow, they had been her closest companions. So soft and fluffy and...round? Lily's brow furrowed in confusion as she watched a pink puffball roll past her. Snow noticed, too, and immediately began chasing after the ball. "Snow!" the trainer called out, chasing after her Pokemon. But Snow was having a great time chasing after her new toy. "Would you get back here?" Lily shouted. Snow finally pounced on the ball, stopping it in its tracks. She leaned down to chew on it and stopped suddenly, staring in confusion. Lily finally caught up to her partner, slowing down and getting a better look at the pink ball of fluff. I AM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT Lily looked around, hoping to find something that would indicate that the Igglybuff belonged to someone. Was it wild? Should she catch it? She thoughtfully reached for an empty Pokeball on her belt clip, but hesitated. The Pokemon was only a baby, if she had done her research correctly. It had to belong to someone. Sure enough, a young girl came bounding forward, her hands and body dwarfed comically by the massive beverage in her hands. Lily stared at her in surprise, but she was glad to have found the baby Pokemon's trainer. They were definitely a perfect match, judging from their stature and bubbly personalities. She nodded politely at the introductions while looking down at Snow, who appeared both bewildered and annoyed that her new toy had suddenly become sentient. Lily shook her head and smiled, redirecting her attention to the other girl. "It's no problem at all. My name's also Lily. Lilith, if you want to get fancy. And this is Snow." She gestured to the Vulpix, who looked up expectantly, as if waiting for something. "That's not for you," Lily said sternly, eyeing the young girl's drink. It didn't take a mind reader to know that Snow had an insatiable appetite, especially for things that didn't belong to her. It was a wonder she was no bigger than she was. "Snow likes to eat other people's food, so I can sympathize." It seemed that almost everyone she met during her travels in Stellara had been a result of Snow chasing after a treat. It was useful, but that didn't make it any less annoying. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Lori. Are you enjoying the gala?" Lily asked. In the meantime, Snow had approached Lili and was prodding her with a single white paw, hoping to make her roll again.
