| W ow. What an amazing festival! Ganz had never seen anything quite like it in all his days. Then again he hadn't seen most things, since he spent most of his days cooped up at home with no TV or outside contact. But he could tell from the looks on everyone else's faces that this event was something special, and he had the good luck to be here to witness it! Now if only he knew what he was supposed to do here. He had spent a good hour or so wandering the gala, mostly watching people socializing and getting all excited about spinning the prize wheels. The young ninja always loved watching people, but he could do so much more now! If he wanted to he could just go up and talk to a person with no repercussions. If only it were that simple...
The place was so busy and full of distractions and beautiful decorations that people weren't likely to recognize his odd appearance. His black hair with it's white streaks was slicked back and up to form a gravity defying hook, while his over sized purple scarf trailed behind him, only inches from dragging on the floor. Surely such an odd appearance would prompt at least a curious comment, right? Yet thus far so one seemed too interested in approaching him. Maybe he would have to be the one to make the first move. Start up his own conversation. His heart raced at the idea, his forced stoic expression twitching as he stared into the crowd of people from a distance.
Nope. That wasn't going to work. Maybe if there weren't so many people around. And he wasn't worried that someone in Team Crux might be lurking in the area and think he was soft for trying to make friendly with the civilians. It seemed that he would need to find a way to make the people come to him if he was going to scratch this social itch of his. But how? He could...light himself on fire? No! That was an awful idea! There had to be a better way, one that didn't risk him ending up in the hospital. Too bad he couldn't think of what that way may have been.
With a heavy sigh Ganz sat himself down on a nearby bench that was still a ways off from the crowds of people. Everything and everyone seemed to be telling him that he should just give up on building up a social life or trying to make friends and just focus on his work. Maybe he could make friends with some people in Team Crux once he proved himself to his peers. But no matter how much he told himself that he couldn't stop from wanting more. The young man hung his head in a dramatic show of distress, even pushing out a heavy sigh as he slumped forward in the bench. At this point he looked more like his pet Growlith ran away than a well trained criminal.

MOIRA MERICHI What better way to get to know Stellara’s residents than to mingle! While Moira spend some days on the boat, she had heard about this festival that was going to take place in Vega City, which was one of the biggest resort cities in Stellara. She had read a lot about the different cities and events that would take place throughout the year and this was definitely one event that she would love to witness. Upon arrival, she saw that the city was full of attractions, shows and food stalls where she would probably spend a lot of her money on. This was one of the things she looked forward to, trying all the area food. “Now don’t go off wondering okay? I don’t want to lose you.” Moira said to her Cyndaquil which she held close to her in her arms. The small Pokémon made an enthusiastic sound while looking from left to right. In this way the two looked very much alike; always curious and wanted to explore everything. “We still have a lot of time, no rush. So we can spend as much time as we want here.” Moira tapped softly on Cyndaquil’s nose, just to make sure he was listening to her. The next hour or two they spent on just walking around, checking out the different activities but never really participating. She just loved watching people. Besides she always hated these ‘luck’ games. Luck was never on her side, so this would probably be just a waste of money. Instead, one of the first stops they made was at one of the food trucks. She ordered some dumplings and took place on a bench with Cyndaquil on her lap, who then started to nibble on the first dumpling. “Slowly, otherwise you’ll … “ Moira didn’t even get to finish her sentence, instead the small Pokémon started coughing. “Choke” Moira finish, while softly giggling. It didn’t taste anything like her father, but it was still good. She could tell though that things really tasted different in each region. After some food, they strolled around some more. It wasn’t before long that Cyndaquil jumped out of Moira’s arms and started walking himself. “Hey!” Even though she was a bit afraid of losing her friend, she knew he wouldn’t really run off without her. She trusted him and besides, he knew in what hotel they were staying so he could just go meet her back over there. Cyndaquil was mostly fascinated by other Pokémon and said hello to a few they had come across. For a moment he stood still before eventually started to take a small sprint. “Wait up!” This time, a little panic was in Moira’s voice. Luckily for her, Cyndaquil went out of the crowd instead of further back in. She quickly found her friend standing in front of a boy sitting on the bench. She soon realized what her friend was looking at; the boy had rather odd hair and the scar on his face was definitely something that wouldn’t go unnoticed. “You know it’s very rude to stare!” Moira said a little bit angry at her Pokémon showed no respect towards the boy. Quickly she walked over and grabbed her friend from the ground. “Sorry, this little guy is always so curious.” Moira apologized for the gazing that Cyndaquil did towards the boy. | T he sulking young man suddenly sat up straight, a hand instinctively reaching toward the inside of his jacket as he caught rapid movement out of the corner of his eye. It was rarely a good thing for anything, person or Pokemon, to be running toward someone like Ganz. Usually it meant that the jig was up and it was time to stand and fight or make a break for it. Though he quickly relaxed after looking up, his hand slowly dropping into his lap as he looked out at the festival. He wasn't in any sort of danger, not in a place like this. He was gonna have to work on keeping his father's lessons repressed when he was trying to be a normal person.
His eyes drifted downward toward the creature that was previously sprinting to him, his head tilting to the side as the Cyndaquil stared up at him. After a brief pause he would lean forward, a soft smile appearing on his face as he lowered himself to be closer to the little Pokemon. "Well hey there little guy. Are you lost?" As nervous as he was around people, Pokemon were a whole different story. They were his only company for many years, so his only choices were get used to talking to them or live a life of silence. After a while he even came to understand them, which made the conversations much more interesting than his childish ramblings.
"We should find your-" He suddenly froze mid sentence, his eyes widening as his entire body became stiff. His lips pressed into a flat line as he clenched his teeth, his head quickly turning to face the approaching trainer. Beads of sweat started to form on his face, his hands trembling slightly as he stared at her. Was this her Pokemon? Was she talking to him? No, he hadn't stared at her yet. But he should should still say something back, right? That's how these things are supposed to work. "...Stare?" He only managed to squeeze out a single word of confusion as focus turned back to the Cyndaquil. He stared back at the creature with a puzzled expression, lips curving into a slight frown He wasn't quite sure why she thought the little guy was being rude, but at least Ganz learned an important lesson. It's rude to stare.
His gaze followed the firey mouse as it was lifted by it's trainer, his eyes continuing to move upward until it landed on Moira's face. She was...really pretty. And she was talking to him. He could feel his pulse skyrocket as he did his best to keep his cool. It may not have been possible to stop the sweat or shaky hands, but he could at least keep the fear out of his eyes. "It's fine. Totally fine. He wasn't rude." But wait, didn't she say that he WAS being rude? Did Ganz accidentally contradict her?
Ganziko took a sharp breath as the panic started to set in, his nerves already starting to rise to the surface. "I mean he was being rude! Since he was staring and all. What I MEAN is that he wasn't bothering me." Two seconds into his first interaction of the Gala and he could already tell that he was making a fool of himself. Hopefully there weren't any members of Team Crux lurking in the area that could see him acting like this. Then he'd never get promoted. "...Hi."

MOIRA MERICHI Moira never had any real problems with making contacts with others. While traveling with her father she had met a lot of interesting people that all had unique Pokémon and fighting styles. Whenever meeting a new person, she would always be very curious as to what kind of Pokémon he or she had. As soon as she had arrived, Moira noticed a changed in body language of the boy. It was then Cyndaquil that broke the silence between the two by making some happy sound as a reply to the boy saying that he wasn’t being rude. While making no effort to break out of Moira’s arms, the Pokémon pointed to the boy and then looked up to see Moira’s face. Moira quickly lowered his little paw so he wasn’t pointing anymore, which was obviously rude. “It’s such a curious little fellow this one.” Moira explained to the boy when he said it was fine. A little surprised was she when the boy suddenly changed his opinion and said that it had been rude, but it wasn’t bothering him. Cyndaquil made a little disappointing sound when he heard this. “See, you should know better.” Moira hummed to her friend before looking at the boy again. Even thought she couldn’t see it in his eyes, from his body language she could notice that he felt a little on the spot. A smile appeared on her face when the boy tried to re-start the conversation by simply saying hi. “Hi,” she said back to him. “I think it’s your scar.” Moira said carefully, not knowing if the scar was a sensitive topic. “My brother also has a scar on his face, I think that that’s where the fascination comes from.” Moira explained. She shifted her arms to keep Cyndaquil in one arm and with her other hand she grabbed some Pokéfood from her bag and started feeding her friend that gratefully started eating this. “You’re lucky you didn’t up with my brother, you would have been fat by now.” she said with a soft laugh, grateful that the Pokémon was occupied for now. “I’m Moira, I come from Lillycove City over in the Hoenn region. Are you from around here?” Cyndaquil, Fire, Lvl 5 Tackle, Leer, Quick Attack, Flame Burst

| W ow. She was so...nice. Even he could tell that he was behaving strangely, yet she didn't do or say anything about it. As comforting as it should have been that she didn't immediately look for an excuse to walk away her confidence actually managed to make him more worried. Could he keep up with a girl like this? She spoke so effortlessly, even as she corrected her Pokemon. She treated the Cyndaquil with such a gentle touch, softly but firmly scolding him for his actions, and to top it all off she had the sweet face of an angel that he could stare at all-
His face started to gain a red tint as he caught himself mid-thought, his gaze quickly shifting away from her as he stared at the Pokemon in her grasp. Maybe if he pretended he was talking to the Cyndaquil instead of it's trainer he would have an easier time of all this. She had just said that staring was rude. Ganz couldn't risk offending her by staring, so he would have to do his best to not look at her at all.
A hand rose up to touch the jagged scar across his useless eye, his shoulders drooping slightly as she mentioned it. Did she not like it? Was it weird? It still hurt sometimes and it really sucked having only one eye, but he at least thought that it made him look pretty cool. No one would ever want to mess with a guy who had a scar like that, right? His worries quickly faded as she mentioned her brother's similar situation, a weak smile spreading across his face to brighten up his features. Surely she wouldn't mention her brother like this if she thought the scars were a bad thing. Hopefully it was a good thing that he reminded her of him and he wasn't some sort of criminal or something. ...Oh yeah.
Whatever the case he could once again take pride in his scar, maybe even use it as a conversation piece! Yeah, that would make for a great story! "Y-yeah. I got it when I was-" He stopped suddenly, biting the inside of his lip to keep himself from continuing any further. He couldn't just tell her that he got it from a guard's Pokemon in the middle of a burglary. In fact he probably should have thought of a fake story a long time ago for explaining it away. "It..was...From a wild Honedge. While I was training my Gastly." Yeah, that made sense. It also established him as a fellow trainer that was willing to take risks. He would have to remember this story.
Ganz chuckled a bit as the Cyndaquil happily ate it's treat, their adorable interaction helping to lighten his mood a bit. He should really get a cute Pokemon. That would start waaaaay more conversations than a Gastly. Just imagining what Ven would do to mess with anyone he tried to hang out with made the trainer sick with worry. Luckily he was safely tucked away inside his Pokeball and wouldn't be sneaking up on them today. Ganziko's eyes instinctively shot back up to meet the girl's gaze as she introduced himself, immediately causing the slight red tint to return to his cheeks. "I've...never heard of that place. I'm sorry." Was he supposed to know anything about that place? Unfortunately his lessons didn't talk about the geography of other regions very much.
He hesitated for a moment as he tried to speak about himself. It wasn't until this moment that he realized just how careful he was going to have to be. Ganz couldn't reveal too much about himself, and he definitely couldn't make any reference to his current or past work. His lips pursed as he stared off, doing his best to sort out what was and wasn't safe to share. Eventually he would suddenly spring back to life, almost looking surprised as he finally spoke up. "Yes! Yes I'm from around...here." He looked around as he spoke before making a vague gesture to the area around him. He should probably be more clear than that. "City Cyngi. I-I mean, Cyngi City. North side of town."
It was hard to hold back now that he was finally having a chance to share with another person. Ganz was starting to realize that almost all of his past life had to be kept a secret. There was no telling how people would react if they heard the truth. Wait, did he even give his name!? "I-I'm so sorry! I forgot!" The panic was clear on his face when he realized that he made such an obvious mistake. "My names Ganziko Carbone! It's very nice to meet you Moira." He glanced to the side as he spoke, his eyes falling on to the empty seat beside him. Maybe, just maybe, he could cover up his failure with a polite gesture. "D-do you wanna have a seat?" He gave the seat next to him a pat, watching Moira out of the corner of his eye as he appeared to stare off into the crowd. He could hardly look at her as he awaited a reaction, as he was sure that she would politely excuse herself and carry on about her day.

MOIRA MERICHI Because Moira had travelled quiet a lot, she had met a bunch of people that had different looks. Especially with coloured hair. It was something she had been thinking of too lately, but she didn’t dare any outrageous colours like pink. The white in this boys hair was actually pretty cool she thought. Something different, something to stand out of the ordinary crowd. As soon as she had spoken to the boy, she saw his face gaining a little tint of red. Probably he hadn’t had a lot of experience talking to girls. Or perhaps talking to any one for that matter. Especially with travelling, it could happen that a Trainer would solely focus on him ad his Pokémon, it would be easy to isolate yourself from others. Since you never stay long enough to actually bond with people. “A Honedge?” She repeated. Softly she tapped with her finger on her lower lip, but eventually shook her head. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen one.” She then concluded. Even though she had travelled a lot, there were still hundreds of Pokémon that she hadn’t’ seen. She wondered if it was his Pokémon perhaps then he could show it to her. “You have a Gastly? That’s so cool!” She replied when it turned out that the boy actually had a Gastly. “I got lost in the dark once when I was little. This Gastly and Haunter had turned up and helped me find my way back. At first I thought they were scary, but they’re pretty cool.” Moira explained. Her father was so mad at her for leaving his side. But al she could do was play with the Ghost-type Pokémon. “It’s a while away.” She responded when the boy said he had never hear of the place. It was that too uncommon that people didn’t know where that was. It was a big world and even if you were a trainer, it would take you a lot of time before you could visit every place in every region. Besides Stellara there was still a lot of places Moira hadn’t been to. “Nice to meet you Ganzinko,” Moira said with a smile before she nodded and took a seat next to him. “I just arrived here a couple days ago. Travelling around with this little fellow.” While looking at the small Pokémon on her lap. It was obvious what he wanted: more food. His small paws stretched to her bag to try and open it. “From tomorrow on, we’ll start with a morning run to burn all that extra fat.” Moira joked while opening her bag which immediately leaded to Cyndaquil diving in. “Such a hungry little fellow. Gastly is welcome to join?” Moira suggested. It would be good for Cyndaquil to start socialising some more with other Pokémon. Cyndaquil, Fire, Lvl 5 Tackle, Leer, Quick Attack, Flame Burst

| U h oh. Did she really not know what a Honedge was? Maybe his father's obsession with ghost and poison types skewed his vision on how common knowledge of these Pokemon were. Wait, if she didn't know about them did that mean that she wasn't going to believe his story? Ganz bit the inside of his lip as he watched her, only starting to relax once she seemed to willingly move on to the next subject. He may not have been the best at reading people, but she at least didn't seem like she was too suspicious. Luckily he bit his tongue and didn't try to explain himself further like he was so tempted to do. That would have only increased his risks of getting caught in the lie.
It came as a shock that she seemed so interested in Gastly. Did people think they were cool? They always seemed pretty normal to him, but he wasn't about to disagree if she thought his Pokemon were cool. His smile gained a bit of confidence as he placed a hand on his belt, giving the pokeball a pat. "Yeah. They're not too scary once you get to know them. My Ven's a pretty relaxed guy. Even if he does do some...freaky stuff sometimes." He spoke about the creature as if it were a person, but it was true. As important as it was that his opponents thought his Pokemon were vicious and terrifying monsters it was nice to speak honestly about them. Hopefully he wouldn't end up in a serious battle with Moira. Oh...That would be terrible. Could he even go through with something like that?
Slowly Ganziko started to relax around the girl. It was starting to seem like Moira wouldn't get mad or mock him no matter how many times he slipped up. Even his own father didn't have this kind of patience with him! Though just as he started to feel like everything was going to be alright his own suggestion came to bite him in the butt. He immediately went stiff again as she sat herself down beside him, his teeth clenching as he scooted as far away from her as the small bench would allow. He practically squished himself against the armrest, placing his arm on it and crossing one leg over the other in an effort to look casual.
"So you're uh...You're a trainer too, huh? That's pretty cool." With how much he traveled and trained his Pokemon trainer was the only cover story that made sense. And to be honest it wasn't too far off from the truth. Pokemon training was kind of like a side job to him. His eyes widened at the suggestion for Vengence to join them, the numerous reasons that would be a bad idea flashing in his mind. As much as he loved that giant ball of fumes he would be terrible in a situation like this. He could ruin everything! But he couldn't just say no. What if she thought that he was some kind of cruel man that kept his Pokemon locked up all the time? "Uh...Yeah. Of course! Or at least he would. But I wouldn't want to scare your little friend or anything."

MOIRA MERICHI There was something about this boy that felt a little bit off. Moira couldn’t tell if it was the shyness towards girls, or if there was something more going on. She figured he was just not used to talking to strangers, something that was a little bit to easy for her. When she was younger, her father worried whenever she would talk to strangers. Scared that one day his little girl would talk to the wrong guy and disappeared. Luckily, Moira knew not to go along with strangers. Moira nodded her head at Ganzinko’s words. If you were on their good side, these ghost-type Pokémon would leave you alone. However, if you were on their bad side, they could make your live a living hell. There weren’t much Pokémon that scared her nowadays. Even though she still had a lot of Pokémon left on her ‘to see’ list, she had already met some great Pokémon. Some that look so intimidating at first, but turned out to be real sweethearts. In the meantime Cyndaquil held a little piece of Pokéfood left in his little paws, before Moira closed her bag. “That’s enough for now.” she hummed, while looking at her friend who seems awfully satisfied by all the food. When Ganzinko asked her a question, she turned her attention on him again. “Yes, sort of.” she hummed while glancing over to Cyndaquil. “Me and Cyndaquil used to help my father out back home. He was a chef. But now its time to start some adventures of our own.” And with that said, Cyndaquil put the last piece in his mounth and raised his little paw in the air, agreeing to Moira’s words. “This is still my only Pokémon though. Planning to find some more travel buddies.” Moira never saw Pokémon as tools to fight wight. She wasn’t looking for any specific type of Pokémon that would complete her team, instead; she was looking just for some new friends. Whatever type they were. “This little guy is not scared so easily. He would dive into any dark place without hesitating.” Moira softly laughed while Cyndaquil gave another agreeing sound. “What about you? Are you a trainer as well? Do you have more Pokémon?” Cyndaquil, Fire, Lvl 5 Tackle, Leer, Quick Attack, Flame Burst
