PERSONALITY
Ganziko, or Ganz as most people usually call him, is a VERY self serious young man. He and his family both have very high expectations of him, and he does everything he can to meet them. In fact he is constantly doing everything he can to excel and impress those who have their eye on him. Whether training and strengthening his Pokemon or undergoing his intense training regimen to keep in top physical performance, he will never hesitate to do something that he thinks will push him forward.
While Ganz may take himself seriously, it's rather hard for other people to once they get to know him. Underneath the thin 'cool ninja' facade is the soft heart of a young man in dire need of affection. He lacks his father's cold view of the world, instead seeing the good in people and desperately wanting them to do the same for him. Unfortunately he feels that his work makes it impossible to share these desires with others without ruining what little reputation he may have with Team Crux. So he has found another way to seek attention.
Ganz goes out of his way to stand out in a crowd, which is rather odd given his profession. Everything from his hairstyle to his unique style of dress is designed to draw attention and get people interested in him. Once engaged in conversation he feels free to associate with others, since in his mind he wasn't the one that was attempting to bridge the gap. That being said there are times that he will make the first move and start a conversation, but this is only when he can't control himself and can't go another moment without human interaction.
His whole early life was focused around his training, which left little time for social development. His pitiful attempts at appearing to be more than he is only seems to hold up for a short while before the true Ganz makes himself known. He's a painfully awkward young man who has no idea how to talk to people. To make matters worse he realizes this himself and is very self conscious about it, and will quickly become embarrassed as he feels the conversation falling apart around him.
In his constant search for love and affection, it's only natural that he would take an interest in the opposite sex. The problem is that he has an even harder time talking to women, and finds himself falling for any female that gives him the time of day. As difficult as it is for him to talk to an average person, it gets even worse when he finds himself attracted to someone. Once his heart starts racing there's no telling what he'll say or do.
BACKGROUND
For generations the Carbone family were renowned infiltration experts in the Kanto region, standing out even among the other ninjas. Whether it was assassinations, extraction or just plain old burglary, there was no job they wouldn't take and invariably succeed at. It had become the family business, and it was tradition that the first son would take part in this work. The children were trained practically from birth to be efficient sneaking machines that could accomplish any task set before them. The training was harsh and borderline abusive, but it was as effective as one could get.
This was the family that Ganz was born in to as the first son of one Milo Carbone, who was the first of the family to leave the Kanto region for the greener pastures of Stellara. Milo raised his son alone, never mentioning where his mother was or what happened to her. As his son grew and asked questions he would find no answer, receiving only his father's cold empty stare. Still the child wouldn't stop dreaming and fantasizing about his mother and what a wonderful woman she must have been, filling the void with the image of the perfect mother.
As one would expect from the family Ganz underwent training for a very young age that was meant to mold him into a master infiltrator. Unfortunately there was something different about him, something strange that had never occurred in the history of the Carbone family. No matter how much his father tried to beat it out of him, young Ganz had a soft heart. While he may have been able to overcome it to complete his training, that softness never left him. As much as it frustrated his father he could find no room to complain so long as his son was able to succeed at his training.
Years went on and the boy grew into a young man, receiving both training and education from his father. He never really spent much time in the outside world, usually only leaving the house at night for training. The only person in his life was his father, and the man didn't seem too interested in spending personal time with his son. Ganz may have been used to this, but that didn't mean he didn't constantly feel the pull of the outside world. For the longest time he wanted so desperately to be with the normal people, even if just for a short while.
Since he was unable to do so, Ganz instead chose to bond with his and his father's Pokemon. Over the years he became very close to the creatures, and he took great joy in tending to their needs and helping with their training. As the years went by the young Carbone would grow to have a stronger connection with these Pokemon than his father, who was their actual master. To this day he feels a strong connection to all Pokemon.
Eventually Milo was contacted by Team Crux, who would offer him quite a few freelance jobs, all of which paid handsomely. However these jobs were simply a test of his usefulness, as they would soon strongly insist that both Milo and his son come fully under their employ. The deal was too good to pass up, and he was inducted into their ranks on the condition that his son would be allowed to finish his training before coming along. As time passed and Ganz finally turned sixteen the moment arrived that he would be tested to see if he was ready to join the team's ranks.
His father was the one in charge of the test, and he wanted to be sure that his child would be worthy of this honor. The test was both dangerous and difficult, but Ganz was confident that he was up to the task. He infiltrated the target location without issue, only to be caught during his escape when one of the guard's Pokemon slashed him across his left eye.
As painful and humiliating as this was, he still managed to escape with the objective in hand. Thus, despite his father's concerns, the young man was officially made a member of Team Crux. While Ganz may not be entirely sure of the group's purpose, he was sure that following their orders would most certainly lead to making the Stellara Region a better place!
Becoming a member of Team Crux meant more to him than it would to your average recruit. Now that he wasn't directly under his father's command, the young ninja would be free to travel the region utilizing the team's resources and connections. On top of that his father also granted him his first Pokemon of his very own, as was tradition in the Carbone family. The new agent was surprised to learn that the Pokemon granted to him was one of his father's young Gastly, which he had helped his father raise. Now that he was in Ganz's care he was given the name Vengence, a dark and foreboding name that his trainer hoped would instill fear in the hearts of his opponents. Using their newfound freedom, Ganz and Ven set out to explore the world and further the goals of Team Crux.

PERSONALITY — Despite his serious, some might even say overly serious, name Vengence is actually a rather playful Pokemon. In fact it's almost as if he realizes how corny his name is and goes out of it's way to defy it's definition. He takes great joy out of teasing his trainer, as he is well aware of the soft and caring young man that hides underneath his usual facade. Whenever he's out of his ball he likes to sneak up on Ganz, surprising him with uncomfortable licks when the young trainer is taking himself too seriously.
As much as he loves to toy with his master, Ven realizes that the boy is still his master. He is loyal and follows orders without question, as he knows that he would never willfully steer the Pokemon wrong. He is very happy in his trainer's care and is well taken care of, even if Ganziko refuses to show his affection in the company of others.
