News of the Vega City Gala spread throughout Stellara with ease. For natives, it was an event that everyone looked forward to; for tourists and newcomers, it was a way to get familiar with the region itself. Now, Neos wasn’t big on parties or festivals, but he figured that it wouldn’t hurt to visit the Gala. Perhaps he could make a few more friends during his time there. Arceus knew that he needed as many as he could get.
In the meantime, Neos decided to visit Lacaille City – the heart of Stellara’s clean energy industry and environmental research.
( What are you doing? ) Vize asked Neos, who was busy looking at his smartphone.
“I’m reading an article on the city’s take on renewable energy,” Neos said. “It’s very interesting.”
( Heh. Nerd, ) the tall Weavile teased, grinning a mouthful of white fangs as Neos shot him a less-than-pleased look.
“Why don’t you find something to do?” Neos asked Vize. The two of them were in another park with restaurants and stores scattered about the perimeter. Neos and Vize were both seated at an outdoor table, though Vize didn’t look too happy about the whole ordeal.
( Like what? ) the Weavile asked.
Neos shrugged. “I don’t know. Go socialize with the other Pokemon or something.”
Vize lowered his eyelids. ( You’re joking, right? )
“No,” Neos replied.
Vize groaned. He just wanted to go to the Gala already.
