Seriously, what was it with Damian and getting lost?
His Riolu was walking alongside him once again, while Bagon and Snivy were contained in their containment units. He was more than a little miffed to find out that Tatiana, his Snivy, didn’t like any single one of the containment units he had—and wouldn’t settle for anything less than a Cherish Ball for her own small home. And that was more than enough to drive the Riolu nuts.
(Seriously, she deserves that name. Tatiana, right? Fitting for a regal queen wannabe like her…) the jackal ‘mon grumbled beside Damian, baring his fangs a little bit. Damian was trying to figure out a way out of the Tucana Rainforest; why did everything have to be so damp, humid, and extremely sticky?
It was gross to all hell.
Not to mention the fact that I’m wearing an overcoat in this place. I could seriously use a good soak right about now… he thought grumpily to himself as he swatted some vines out of the way they were headed.
“Let me know if you see something up ahead…” he said to his companion, and the Riolu nodded as Damian then came to a stop before closing his eyes and concentrating, before eventually opening his Aura sight once again.
All at once he was assaulted by the various auras around him—hell, who knew that even sentient plants had some trace of an aura—but homed in on his companion’s Aura as the Riolu walked cautiously forward, keeping his ears perked up for anything that might come barreling their way.

It was pure chance the Riolu was leading the way through the undergrowth when a sudden, unfamiliar aura caught its attention. Looking upward to one of the trees nearby, it spotted a gray-and-white Flying-type, who was tending to its feathers.
(Look up there,) Alexei began, turning back and gesturing to the tree with one of his paws. Of course, since Damian didn’t know what his companion was saying, he decided to follow where Alexei’s paw was pointing upwards—and he spotted the Flying-type.
It was at this point his mind blanked out for a few moments, before he shuffled around his pockets and withdrew his Pokédex before quickly pointing it up at the Pokémon that was grooming itself, not paying any attention to the passing human and Riolu beneath them.
Once he’d gotten the gist of the name of the thing above—which he now knew was a Starly—he then furrowed his brows, before looking at the Riolu. “What do you think, Alyosha? Should we catch it?” he asked, before closing his eyes and trying to get a read on the Starly’s aura.
While he wasn’t particularly aggressive, it did give off an aura of not wanting to be disturbed; and after he heard his Riolu’s chirping in his direction, he then took a deep breath and looked down.
(I’m certain there’re more out there… let’s be patient and leave this one alone. Besides, I don’t want to get into a scrap right now with that one… it’d be dangerous for me at this point,) the Riolu advised. Even if what he said went over Damian’s head, the human then tilted his head at the jackal ‘mon before looking one more time at the Starly.
“Hmm… let’s look deeper in here. Maybe we can find the way out,” he said after considering the options right now; and the Riolu nodded, before heading deeper into the undergrowth.

After several minutes of traversing through the undergrowth, both human and Pokémon picked up on another aura lounging not too far from where they were headed. Wondering if it was going to be just as prissy as the Snivy that he’d encountered before, the two then approached the source of where said aura was coming from, being very careful not to cause a disturbance as they approached where the solitary aura was located.
The two then eventually discovered some kind of… goat? It looked like a goat, to say the least. It was noticeably small for its size; and since Damian didn’t know what it was called, a few more moments of fumbling around and his Pokédex was in his hands once again, flipped open as he read the information that appeared on the screen.
“A Skiddo, huh? I’m rather hard-pressed to believe that something so small can actually carry a person’s weight…” he muttered, once he’d closed his Pokédex, but didn’t return it to his pocket just in case he needed it again. While the small goat-like Pokémon looked absolutely content with sunning itself in the clearing that they’d found, the Riolu then turned to look at Damian with a questioning stare.
“I don’t know, Alyosha… looks pretty content. Wouldn’t want to disturb it… who knows if its parents are nearby… and we’re not nearly that prepared yet for a full-on fight, so… let’s leave the little one alone,” Damian explained, before taking another path through the undergrowth; Riolu scrambling to keep up with his companion.

This time, it was the Riolu who’d spotted an unfamiliar aura, before darting forward—leaving Damian behind in the undergrowth. “Hey! Alyosha!” he called out, seeing the small jackal ‘mon pick up the pace and vanished before he could even take a second look. Now, where the hell did his companion get off to?!
It didn’t take too long before he’d eventually followed the Riolu through the undergrowth, and eventually came to another clearing where what he knew was a Bellsprout was sunbathing in a patch in the nearby clearing.
(Hey, Damian, I don’t think this one wants to fight… I mean, have you seen it? Look,) the Riolu pointed out, returning to where he’d suddenly appeared and was now looking at the Bellsprout, who appeared to be sleeping and not minding the presence of the two that had shown up.
(I don’t think they want to be disturbed…) the Riolu continued, before looking up at Damian, who then looked back at his companion and sighed. “I don’t think so, either…” he said, sighing as he then left the way he came, the Riolu following him. Who knew what else was waiting for them in the Tucana Rainforest?
It was definitely now or never at this point.

Claiming the Bulbasaur:  Level 6 / Female / Overgrow Tackle, Growl, Vine Whip, Curse For this Bulbasaur, everything is either black or white—there’s no in-between. Put it down on how she was raised by her parent Venusaur, or other influences entirely, her way of understanding the world is between two colors—black signifying evil; white signifying good. Why her take on everything is between these two colors, is down to how she understands everything that happens around her. While this is going to be a problem down the road, it’ll take a lot of convincing that the world is more than just two colors—and that there’s more to that than the two extremes of good and evil. Maybe down the road she’ll discover the ‘gray area’ in-between everything and eventually let in the ‘colors’ of the world influence her brick wall of a personality; stubborn as she is. When it comes to battling, she’s clear-cut and prefers not to waste so much motion and action. She wants to get everything done in the shortest, quickest, most efficient method possible. While this may make her also think like a soldier, along with the personality change down the line, her battle style will change once her reasoning for seeing the world in that particular way is understood. | I fell in love with your sin, your littlest sin
