IT'S A NEW WORLD, A NEW START She should be safe here, right? There were so many people to hide her. Her father would have to search for days, which would, if nothing else, give her time to move on to another city. Kari tugged her beanie down further, making sure her ears were properly covered. The intense sounds of Vega City were harsh on her sensitive ears, but she did her best to ignore it. The hat helped, muffling the sounds of cars and people and various other city-sounds. The young girl wandered through the streets, trying to appear as inconspicuous as possible, like she was meant to be there. She felt the single Pokeball jostling around in the pocket of her tunic. Rex was there, waiting for her to call on him. Not that he would listen if she actually needed him. So, for the sake of blending in, she would keep him tucked away in his Pokeball. A small growl rumbled in Kari’s stomach, and her hand quickly moved to the area to quench the sound. She needed to eat, but funds were low. She could steal, or she could beg, neither of which she was keen to do. She looked up and around at the unfamiliar buildings. Before she could even think about eating, she was going to need a nap to navigate the city. She walked over to a kiosk selling tourist items and, while the kiosk owner was assisting someone else, snatched a map off the counter. She hurried away before she could be spotted and looked at the map, her eyes following the streets and landmarks. She continued walking down the street, trying desperately to make sense of her surroundings. @tag ✖ notes

This had been her first step outside the woods of her hometown in quite frankly a couple of days, however this much needed visit to town was becoming necessary, she needed to restock on supplies. Even though she knew a city like this would be filled with plenty of normal humans, she was going to have to keep a close eye on the both of her mons. As much as she agreed with them on their distrust against such people, she wasn’t going to be so willing to casually bring such up. Especially when they really needed the supplies right now. Still even as she walked down the sidewalk, glares from some who watched what seemed to be two ralts sitting on her shoulders. Alexandia herself doing her best to ignore the silent whisper she would hear in her mind as she would glance between the varying humanoids in the city. ( ”I’m telling you, I really don’t like these city places Alex, and Caroline here really isn’t helping with that, how did you even find her again?”), Aurora would begin to speak from Alex’s left shoulder. The trickster having used her illusion to disguise as just another ralts. ( “Well don’t blame me for a flock of fearows and sparrows dropping me quite literally on top of the capsule device. It’s as simple as I’ve said however, you can’t trust humans. They will all gladly stab you in the back the very moment they see fit. Now science! Science is the best thing to trust”), Caroline would gladly proclaim even standing for moment on the Morph’s shoulders. All in all, Alex couldn’t help but laugh slightly from her mons. Man did they love to bicker a lot, however they both had this distaste in humans she could understood. While Caroline hadn’t told her too much over which, it sounded that whatever they did do caused her to care little for them. Aurora as well seemed to hold a grudge against humans. She remembered well herself back in the woods when poacher had tried to hunt Aurora’s mother. All in all, she couldn’t blame them. In fact, maybe they were right a bit? Maybe there was no human that could be trusted. Only as she was walking did she feel this strange feeling inside of her horns on her back and chest, she felt…worried? It was strange, but as she looked around she could only spot a nearby girl with a darker hair coloring on the near empty street. In fact, what was such a younger looking child wandering alone in these streets for? They did have a map of some sorts, so maybe she could leave with better conscience if she offered something. “Hey there, are you lost?”Aurora (Zorua – using Illusion to hide as a second ralts) Caroline (Ralts) Both mons riding on shoulders of Alexandria Kari Murphy

IT'S A NEW WORLD, A NEW START Kari looked from her map to the buildings around her, her head looking like one of those silly drinking birds as she tried to make sense of things. She wasn't having much luck, but she kept walking, trying to keep up with the flow of traffic. She could hear people around her murmuring, most just talking about meaningless things, but some of them pointed out her age and obvious confusion to her surroundings. She thought about letting Rex out of his Pokeball for a moment and at least enjoying his company, but the Tyrunt was notorious for getting into trouble, and she wanted to remain as inconspicuous as possible. The young girl jumped when she heard a feminine voice nearby, much too close for comfort. She looked around, her beanie shifting on her head. She shoved the hat back down over her ears as she stared at the woman that had approached her. Well, woman was, perhaps, a loose term. The figure was certainly that of a woman, but this was obviously not a typical lady. White horn-like protrusions stuck out from her face, framed by bright green hair. Kari didn't need to be a morph herself to know that this woman was one. A Gardevoir, she was pretty certain. The girl wondered how the stranger had come to be. Was she born that way? Or was she, like Kari, a victim of Team Crux's experiments? If so, had she come to take Kari back? If that was the case, she couldn't let the woman know who she was. "Uh, no," she said quickly, immediately dropping her map. She knelt to pick it up, and her beanie fell off, exposing her curled ears. Kari stared in horror at the beanie on the ground and picked it up quickly, shoving it back on her head and hoping against hope that her ears hadn't been seen.
