One, two, three. In the course of a few weeks, Edwin Armadale's team of one had expanded to three. It was... rather an interesting lineup if he had to say so. First was Arkady, his friendly pet-now-partner Noibat, who tried but often struggled to get along with his teammates as well as Edwin. It was a challenge that often left him exhausted, but, well, he'd do his best for his trainer.
The second was Bellamy the Sneasel. A rather... eccentric pokemon that seemed to think it was his right to act as much as a human as possible. Despite being a pokemon, the Sneasel walked around in a little red T-shirt, reacting angrily whenever Edwin or another pokemon touched it. Seems like that was that then. Bellamy also seemed to act flamboyantly, which made Arkady confused and his other pokemon angry.
And the third pokemon was the troublesome one. While Bellamy was prissy and flamboyant, well, Sten the Rockruff was a real handful in more ways than one. It was all Edwin could do to keep him from fighting his other pokemon, well, especially Bellamy since the Sneasel seemed to enjoy provoking him. Sten at least had a little fear of Arkady since the Noibat had beaten him in combat. While when alone, Sten would let Edwin groom him and care for him, he'd turn around and bite him if Edwin didn't treat him respectfully. It was like walking on eggshells with this pokemon.
Still though, now seemed a nice time to head home to Saiph City and go chat to his parents about the journey he had so far. And who knows? Maybe some of his parents' cooking might make his pokemon happy for the time being? At the very least, Edwin walked with them out of their pokeballs as much as he could, although he'd withdraw Sten and Bellamy if they started bickering.
Soon, Edwin reached the outskirts of his town. He wondered who else he might meet today.
