Pokemon Party: - Ollie, Level 7 - Bailey, Level 6 "He looks exhausted! Now Ollie, finish the fight with... another scratch!" Noah ordered of his Axew Ollie from atop a green hill, albeit hesitantly. He wondered if it was ok to instead use the only other move he had taught the Dragon-type recently in that brief moment of silence, but decided quickly that it would be overkill in this situation. The opposing Pikachu was struggling to even move across the grassy battlefield with all of those bruises on it's body. The red-head and his battle-ready Pokemon had done a great job in strategizing for this match against the other duo that accepted their challenge, and both were pretty happy about it, having smiles that were visible to the foes even from several meters away. The young lady with long black hair and a yellow sundress on who owned the Pikachu stood above a green hill just as tall as Noah's. Their locations were great for overlooking the flat area below them. The sunlight coming above from the clear sky also helped them as it made the place fairly bright. The price to pay for that was the heat, but Noah fortunately wore a short-sleeved black T-Shirt with brown cargo shorts and brown sandals, so he would be fine.
"Jack! Try your best to dodge it and then counterattack with thunder shock!" the female desperately told the Pikachu, but he was in no condition to pull off any of those commands. Unfortunately for their team that meant that Ollie was able to successfully launch his body from where he currently was to right in front of the enemy, dashing forward to cover the rest of the distance and swiping at Jack face which cause the electric-type to fly backwards a little bit before sliding right to the base of the hill his trainer was placed on. The woman looked at her Pokemon with shock and sadness as she returned it to the Pokeball it came from. Rather than stay mad at her loss however, she walked over to Noah and shook his hand. The Axew she passed while on her way there smiled at her and nodded as if to say 'good match!'
"Thank you for the battle. I hope to have a rematch another day," she told him, now looking optimistic as she hoped that next time she would come out on top. Noah responded with a similar response and the lady walked away following that.
"Good going Ollie! Another impressive victory," Noah congratulated his Pokemon as he now slid down the hill to meet half-way with his ally, catching the small runt that jumped to his trainer in his arms and hugging him.
("No need to get all sentimental on me Noah! It is just what I do after all, heh,") the Axew replied, though his words didn't match his actions. The Human wasn't able to understand Pokespeak though, so he couldn't hear this contradiction.

Calem walked through the Flatlands his hands behind his back. He was looking for something to do. He had heard rumors of a strong trainer taking on battles in the area. He decided it would be a good time to finally do some battling. He had been dying to fight another trainer. He had didn't know what he'd find. Maybe it was the champion of the entire region, maybe an elite four member of gym leader? It didn't matter he'd beat them with his Pokemon at his side. No matter the odds that were against him. He'd step around seeing a couple of trainers around talking while there was the tail end of a battle. It was a battle between an Axew and a Pikachu. He watched from a distance to see what would occur. Though the outcome was obvious by the damage the Pikachu had already taken. He'd unfold his arm as he grasped at a Pokeball being excited for the chance of a battle. The trainer with an Axew looked like a powerful trainer. His Axew Finished off the Pikachu as Calem slid down the hill towards them.
He'd arrive as they finished talking Calem fixing up his hair as his cape billowed in the wind. "So you seem to be a hotshot trainer." Calem smiled looking at Noah with interest. Calem moved forward to offer a handshake to Noah, "Name is Calem Mcdonvich. I am hoping we can have a Pokemon battle. Perhaps a 3 versus 3?" He'd raise his eyebrow. He was not sure how many Pokemon this person had but he assumed 3 versus 3 would be a good number. Three Pokemon was not an insane amount to come by and this trainer.

Once the sentiments had died down, Noah placed Axew back on the ground and didn't know what to do after that match, but he was still too pumped to just go back to casually exploring the flatlands. He started to scratch his chin with his right hand while keeping his left to his hip, looking to the sky as if someone above would give him answers. Meanwhile Ollie began to run around his trainer as he also had too much adrenaline rushing through him to just calm down. Fortunately for the duo, another great opportunity arrived in the form of another Human that that had come. He appeared behind Noah with his interesting greeting and challenge, which made the red-head turn around to see him, and even the Axew stopped running to get a look at this man, quickly rushing to his side and smelling him to see what he was about. Ollie called it his 'sniff report.'
"Goodness, you know I don't like you doing that Ollie. Let me at least talk and get to know him before you start acting weird," Noah told his Pokemon, looking at the stranger with a smile after the comment. He knew that his dragon-type partner would reluctantly back up and start running around elsewhere, which is what he did. They both respected each other enough to listen well. "Sorry about that, my name is Noah Ragner, and I wouldn't call myself a hotshot, but yea we have been doing this for a bit. Some wins, some losses," Noah replied, shaking Calem's hand and then placing both arms to his sides. "3-on-3? Well, I wouldn't mind if I had 3 Pokemon, ha. I only have 2, so we can either do a 2-on-2 single set until one team is standing, or a double with the same rule. What do ya say?" he asked with his right eyebrow raised. Ollie jumped up excitedly from afar, being able to hear his trainers words even as he just began playing with some of the other Pokemon of the area.

He'd pause as the Axew began to sniff his leg. He didn't know what he did, for once he was not acting really smug or cocky. Not that he wasn't on the inside just not on the outside. The Trainer, however, told Ollie the Axew to cut it out. He shouldn't act oddly before they even knew him. Calem let out a sigh, "It is quite alright it nothing to worry about. He a cute little guy." He'd shrug, it didn't bother him all that much. No point in making a big deal out of it. He'd smile as Noah Shaked his hand introducing himself. "It is very good to meet you, Noah." He'd say looking and following along to what he had to say. He explained that he only had 2 Pokemon so a 3 on 3 would not be possible. That was a shame but 2 was still a great number. He'd suggest instead either of a 2 versus 2 or a double battle. He didn't want to do a double battle at the time so he already knew his choice.
"Alright, so it is in agreement a Pokemon battle. Each Trainer will use 2 Pokemon. The One who faints the other two Pokemon first is the winner." He'd say grasping at two Pokeball. He already knew who he'd be using. Ashley the Charmander and Fetch the Farfetch. They were his two strongest Pokemon. "So where do you want to battle right here fine with me but I just want to make sure." He'd state looking around the area. He assumed it'd be fine but he wanted his foe to choose where they'd fight. It seemed like the right thing to do.
(Forgot to mention each of the pokemon i intend to use current level. Fetch is Level 8 and Ashley is Level 7)
