The next leg of Edwin's travels took him and Arkady North toward Nair City. As they neared the mountains, there was an icy nip to the breeze as it blew across the young man and his Noibat. Arkady shivered a little, the Flying and Dragon type not enjoying the cold at all, but thankfully Edwin had come prepared. He pulled a scarf from his bag and wrapped it around his own neck, making sure that Arkady was wrapped up comfortably too. Arkady chirped his appreciation, snuggling up to his trainer's head.
"Nair City's got a lot of museums, Arkady, we could look at all sorts of interesting things" Edwin said as they reached the outskirts of the city.
("I hope there's lots of shiny things!") Arkady said in pokespeak, his eyes dazzling a little. He liked the idea of shiny, pretty crystals and jewels.
After a customary stop at the local pokecenter, Edwin and Arkady entered one of the museums. This one had many interesting artifacts from the nearby Helos Ruins. At least, they were interesting to Edwin. Arkady grew a little bored of hearing how old humans lived, instead being drawn toward the beautifully restored metals and precious jewels. In fact there was a giant crystal that made him press his face against the glass display, gosh it was pretty!
"Like that, Arkady?" Edwin asked, grinning. The duo then completed their trip around the museum, finally coming to the souvenir store. Edwin thought he might give his little partner a treat - none other than a pretty little replica of the giant crystal he was looking at. Arkady was distracted by more things in the store, so Edwin was able to keep it a surprise as they departed.
"Here's a little present, Arkady" Edwin said, holding up the crystal to the Noibat. Arkady positively squealed with delight! He held it in his wings and was absolutely transfixed by it.
So much so that he barely touched his lunch as they proceeded to the local park, the two sitting on a bench to eat their snacks.
"Come on, Arkady, you don't want your poffin to go cold" Edwin advised. Arkady nodded and ate, setting the crystal on the bench next to him. Little did they know that they were being watched by a sneaky other pokemon...
(OOC: I would like to use my Pokepass in order to spawn a male Sneasel with Keen Eye please.)
