The Springs
Time to Relax...
Kono walked to the waterfall, Anubis following him closely behind, humming excitedly. “Whoo~. We're going to the hot springs~!” she chirped happily bobbing along. “Really excited huh? In Hamal Town, we have one there and you never go in it.” “This one is different! It’s so much more relaxing and just feels soooo, good,” she said, hugging herself and sighing in excitement as if she could feel it. “Wait, does this mean you’ve snuck off to this hot spring before?” he asked and she squealed, obviously meaning yes.
“... Mayyyybe…” she muttered into his head and he just sighed, in response. “Hey, I’m always fine! I’m the baddest and biggest pokemon out there and can’t be beaten!” she quickly answered continued, earning a chuckle from him. Once nearing the springs, he noticed a quick rustle in the trees, then a black, unknown shadow darted and landed into the bushes, staying behind them and nearly out of sight.
“... Anubis, don’t be alarmed but there’s a pokemon following us. It may be heading to the springs, or it may try and attack us. So be on guard.” he warned her, speaking to her telepathically, hoping this pokemon wasn’t a psychic type and could read their thoughts. “Hm? Oh, pokemon always come this way, so no need to be alarmed! Besides, it would rather go to the springs than attack us!” she retorted, seeming to pay it no mind.

Personality: Croagunk is a pretty laid-back pokemon, mostly just going for the flow. This translates into laziness most of the time, and he rarely puts excessive effort into a task. He tends to disapprove of others that take themselves too seriously and sometimes will go as far as gently pranking them, but never goes too far in that regard.
Croagunk is usually agreeable, except on the subject of battle. Croagunk would very much rather not fight another pokemon, since he prefers issues to be resolved without violence. However, if someone he cares about is on the line, he throws down his everything, while at the same time remaining aloof and mocking of his opponent. Otherwise, it takes some effort to get him to battle with his all over some dispute he doesn't care too much about. But not to the point where he actually refuses to battle.
On the whole, Croagunk is someone that prefers lazing around than seriously fighting and training. He enjoys good comedy and absurd situations too. There are hints that he has a more serious side, but if there is, he keeps it well hidden. He gets along best with others that understand this, and like him, would just like to sit around and relax rather than be all wound up all the time.
(Also note that you can pick Croagunk's ability as well)

Capture The Croagunk!
Kono just watched and it seemed the pokemon or whatever it was just disappeared, so he paid it no mind and Anubis just happily bobbed along, the two of them, finally reaching the clearing and seeing a giant clearing and a beautiful waterfall that the area was known for and a large hot spring, not a lot of different pokemon in the springs, which Kono looked surprised but Anubis waved it off.
“Pokemon do come here but it’s in small droves, not too many, max of… 15-20,” she said, slowly making her way to the hot springs, yelping a little. “D-damn, a bit hot.” Kono took off his clothes and had a bathing suit left on, and made his way over, surprised at how the water was. “Holy crap… It’s like there’s a magma source only a few feet under here…” Kono muttered and he heard the laugh of a pokemon that he knew very well. A Croagunk sat in the water, looking just fine. (Gishehehehe… Once ya get used to the water, it’s great! You should just jump in.) he said, and Kono looked at Anubis.
“... He says jump in… Should we trust him?” Anubis asked, looking at Kono. “Sure. He looks chill. Why not.” To which, Kono jumped in. It was very hot, and surprisingly deep, a good 8’ deep and the sides of the area had sitting areas probably for small pokemon. He breathed for air as he came up, and looked the Croagunk who had the usual plastered Croagunk smile. (It’s like I told you, right human? You looked wound up. Just take a break and chill.) the pokemon would respond as Anubis jumps in as well.
(H-Hot! Re-really hot!) Anubis cried out, floating there and making her way to the shelf, where Croagunk was. (Heya man, you good? Didn’t mean for ya to get hurt or something.) Croagunk asked, looking at Anubis who was squirming but seemed to get over the initial shock of the heat. (Y-yeah, I’m fine… Damn, my fur’s frizzled.) she muttered in response and began to mess with it, as Croagunk smiled a wider one and got a little mud nearby and lightly splattering it onto her as he laughed. (Gishehehehe!)
Anubis dives under and gets it off, coming back with an annoyed look as she raises a leg and tries to light it on fire for Blaze Kick… But all it did was puff out smoke as the water stopped the leg from igniting in flame. (Gishehehehe! That’s hilarious!) the Croagunk laughed at Anubis, who went red in embarrassment. (Y-Y-You little-!) she started to say as Kono manoeuvres over, putting a hand in between them.
“Now, now. Calm down. Why don’t you two settle this with a battle? It’s a good way to get rid of stress.” Kono said, offering it to the two of them, and Croagunk waved off the offer. (Nah, I don’t battle unless I have too… Neither with training. You just need calm down Riolu.) he said, still maintaining that grin that made Anubis even madder. (What do you mean!? I’m a bit lazy too but your a FIGHTING TYPE! Fight me unless you're scared too, you pansy!) Anubis yelled, getting annoyed at the Croahunk who just laughed in response to her.
“Hm… How about this, I’ll give you both a huuuge amount of food to do a quick tussle, how’s that sound?” Kono offered next and the pokemon looked at him, now a bit interested. ( Hm… Well… I am a bit hungry. I could go for some food right now… Hm… I mean... ) Croagunk raised his paw and scratched his chin, seeming to be contemplating the offer. “Hm… I got some berries so I should be able to cook… Something. I got a couple of Rawst Berries…” he muttered and Croagunk lit up.
(Rawst Berries? I love those! Well, why not. I’ll dance a little. I’m not gonna fully try. Gishehehe!) Croagunk said, laughing and getting up and heads over to the woods and Anubis follows, shaking herself off and drying off her fur.
(... You ready to face me?) (Gishehehehe! Sure. Try your best. I won’t.) Anubis snarled in response and used Quick Attack to dart around, and Croagunk just stood there. Getting annoyed at the unfazed pokemon, she tried to Quick Attack Croagunk, who just slightly moved to the left, letting her fly past him, making Anubis trip and fall. (Gishehehehe! I guess your ‘falling’ for me kid?) he joked and Anubis responded angrily, (You shut it!)
She tried again, and again, and again; each time doing the same thing as the last, her ending up in the dirt. (Why can’t I hit you!?) (Gishehehehe! You keep trying the same thing over and over, do a different strategy.) he offered and Anubis thought for a second and quickly ran back at him with a Quick Attack, which he step sided, but she quickly planted her left foot, swinging around her right leg that was coated in a fiery aura as flames licked her leg as used Blaze Kick, surprising Croagunk.
He quickly pulls back his hands, covered in a steel alloy now, firing off punches as he used Bullet Punch, matching the kick. (Wo-wow! That was cool! B-but it wasn’t as cool as my attack!) Anubis said, then stuttering to establish her dominance over him, which obviously didn’t work, as Croagunk laughed and playful bowed. “Alright! I finished the meal! Come get it!” Kono called, having cooked some food for the pokemon and they ran over, Croagunk happily chowing down.
“I saw your fight briefly, and Croagunk, your really powerful! Wow!” Kono said, pulling out his pokedex and scanning Croagunk, excited at the pokemon. Sure, his personality would be hard to get him to train, but he could do it… Maybe. (Gishehehe. You think so?) (Yeah, you are! Though, I could still obviously beat you in a fight.) Anubis responded back, smiling at her full belly. “Hey. Croagunk.” Kono calls out to Croagunk, as he pulls out an Ultraball, holding it out to Croagunk. “Would you join our team? You can journey with us and see the world, and you can lazy around and help if you want.” Kono offered, smiling to the pokemon who looked at it curiously and had a look of thought as this decision would change his life.

Time to Relax...
Croagunk made his signature laugh and clicked the silver button, the Ultra Ball opening up and shooting out a red light, pulling out Croagunk and shaking, and after 3 wiggles, it clicks and Kono jumps up and cheers, screaming “WHOOO!”
He tossed the ball and out popped Croagunk. “How’s the nickname Sans, Croagunk?” (Gisheheheh! Whatever you want man. Doesn’t matter to me.) Kono grabbed his great ball and tossed out his other Pokemon; King, the Scraggy, who was quite lazy. (Hm? Are we going somewhere? Well, you better carry me Koro.) King said, yawning as Kono sighed, a tick mark appearing on his forehead.
“It’s KONO. I still learning how to understand you, but I can at least tell your saying it wrong. Besides, you can walk!” Kono said, to which, King just yawn, frustrating Kono even more. The tall trainer picked up King by the scruff of his neck and placed him on his left shoulder, King happily lazing there and Anubis hops up to Kono’s right shoulder and lays on there.
Finally, Sans, scaled Kono and sat on his head. “Geez, what am I, a coat rack!?” (Gishehehehe! Yup!) (Uh-huh. Now, go get your King some food.) (Yeah, you are~! Now, mush!) each pokemon said, giving their own input. Kono just groans and realizes eventually there all gonna evolve… And the thought of an entire team of fully evolved pokemon jumping on him, crushing him crossed his mind, making him shiver.
He had to get this lazy streak out his pokemon, soon or else he’ll be crushed. “Well, let me get everything up,” Kono said, grabbing the leftovers and handing it off to King who munched on them and devoured them. Kono quickly out away everything, cleaning everything off and groans, a bit uncomfortable.

Cooper, for once, had a genuine smile on his face. Chip, his newly captured Deino, paddled through the hot waters with a pairs of swimmies on four of her legs, and a swim cap propping her fur down. Some one-on-one bonding with his Pokemon was always nice, and he was actually enjoying himself now! Cooper had stopped to relax, water trickling down onto his head that sported a swim cap that matched little Chip's. Cooper raised his head, eyeing some Rawst berries growing on a branch above...
"H-Hey, Chip!" Cooper chimes, prying the front of his cap off. His horns wiggled and pointed forwards, string weaving between the two tips. "Heads u-up!" He called, shooting a rope right at the branch and yanking his head back. With a mighty yank, the tree branch was brief right off, flying right past Kono and Company as well, skipping twice in the water before it was brought to Cooper's hands. Chip knew the smell of berries, quickly approaching with a wide smile. "Y-you want the b-berry, girl?" Cooper held one into the air. "Go get th-the berry!" He chimed, deciding to play a brief one-sided game of fetch with his dragon partner. He had been helping her track scents, and the powerful aroma of a berry was perfect target practice.
The blue treat landed a few meters away from Kono, with the distant sounds of the Deino approaching at a breakneck pace. She lunged out of the water and slammed right into a rock, which cracked and left a Deino-shaped mark when she smacked against it at full throttle. Regardless, and completely unfazed, the dinosaur toddled forwards and pounced onto the berry, rolling over beside the three fighting types and their trainer with teeth tearing at her food...
Cooper paddled over in the water with his swimcap back on, though his grubbin stub hands were exposed. He peered over the rocks from his vantage point in the spring water, briefly flinching at the familiar sight of a man that had seen him in all his grubbin glory. Regardless, Cooper took a slow inhale, peering over quietly and watching his Deino to make sure nothing bad happened, even though he had probably already been noticed earlier.

The Springs Leon Solis Party - Ember Lvl 5
A Servine morph was travelling through the Elysia Falls, a place he hadn’t visited much before, but he heard it held exponential beauty. He figured it would be a great place to relax and a wonderful way to get away from people for a while. On this Morph’s shoulders was his partner, Ember, as where he usually remained. Ember was telling Leon a story of the daycare experience he had while Leon went shopping for supplies. The Morph couldn’t help but chuckle at the part where a Smoochum tried to seduce the poor little Cyndaquil. God, what an experience.
Upon arriving to the falls, the fancy man started to change into some swim clothes (Of course, after sending Ember away for a while) and put the lava pokemon in the water, who knew how to swim surprisingly well for a fire type. Leon eventually made his way in after responding to a message on his Xtransceiver, swimming to the nearby waterfall to rest and admire the beauty of the region. “I have got to say, I think I outdid myself on the location this time. What do you think?” He looked at his partner, who was now resting on a rock. Swimming such a short distance was a lot more hectic for him since he was so much smaller. “Cyn… Qui…” (So... Tired...) Ember squeaked, laying it’s head down on the rock.
The two settled in for a while, made themselves at home, up until they heard the sound of many voices chattering about… being a coat rack? The other voices all said yes, so the boy could only assume a man was being abused by his pokemon. The thought made the man laugh, so he wanted to go see this for himself. “Hey Ember, want to go exploring in that area?” Ember stook his head up and smiled, excited as always to go on an adventure.
The handsome, green-haired man dried himself off and tucked all of his things neatly into his back, wrapping the towel around his neck before marching towards the sound. He didn’t care about showing up in just bathing shorts in a place like this. After all, this is what the falls was for, anyways. A chance to relax.
Upon arriving to the scene, he saw a pokemon trainer with three pokemon sitting on top of him. A Croagunk, a Scraggy, and a Riolu. “I didn’t know the carnival was in town!” Said the Morph jokingly. Leon advanced to the man and smiled, putting his hands on his hips. “Fine day for it, how are you?” The Servine man, in all of his glory, looked over at a deino traversing through the forest and poking at what seemed to be a rawst berry. Hmmm… I didn’t even know Deino’s lived up here… But the man shrugged it off and turned towards the rock where Cooper was hiding, but failed to notice him. The man shrugged once more, even though he felt as if he was being watched.

Time to Relax...
Kono had finally finished when he heard a tree branch come flying and he dropped, his pokemon holding onto him for dear life as a tree branch sailed past their location and went to the springs/ Kono got up and looked strangely at the springs. “W-what was that? A ghost type? Ps-psychic?” Kono muttered, still disliking psychic and ghost types.
Kono then saw a berry fly out from the springs and land near him and a Deino came out, making Kono pull out the pokedex in record time and scanning him. “W-wow! A Deino! Never knew they were here!” Kono said, Anubis looking strangely at the pokemon. (Hey. You got a trainer? A bit strange to see a dragon typing around here…)
However, Sans and King eyed the Rawst Berry, King much more than Sans as he started to make a move to get it. “King, no. And no Sans.” Kono said, feeling Kinga move to grab it and knew of Sans’ love for the berries. (Gishehehe! There’s more around. I don’t need that specific berry. Besides, it’s that Deino’s.) Sans said, and looked Kono. (I want that berry, so I now claim it. Too bad, so sad Deino. But, I, King, deserve it more than you because…) As King began to monologue, Kono gingerly took the berry and offered it to Deino, his hand only on the leaf part of it, not touching the berry part. “Hey, buddy. Here. Please don’t bite me, I’m just offering this back to you.” he said calmly, noticing a Servinesk man… Servinesk man? Servinnine like man? Whatever. It was a Servine like man.
“Oh, hello.” he put the berry down, quickly before the Deino had time to chomp it, or hopefully before it moved at all. Kono raised to his feet and approached the pokemon/man fusion, towering over him, but had a friendly smile on his face as he held his hand out. “Haha, yes it is. My pokemon are a bit LAZY.” Kono would say, firing the insult/accusatory tone at them as King, realizing no one was listening, just shrugged at Kono and Leer’d at him before laying down and passing out; Anubis gave a playful look at Kono, and Sans would laugh, waving it off.
“Yes it is, if not a bit… Uncomfortable.” the man would say with a laugh, adjusting himself and looked where Leon did, noticing the small Cooper, and giving him a friendly smile and turning back toward Leon. “So, are you really part pokemon? Or is that some sort of cosplay? I’ve seen one other person who was a pokemon… It was strange I’ll admit…” Kono said, remembering the Carnival and how he stepped on the young Cooper and how… Shocking it was to be electrocuted.
Alright... WHEW. Here ya go.

THE WILD GRUBBING FLED FROM BATTLE
A gasp escaped Cooper's lips, and he'd speedily dart back behind his rock. He'd been spotted! Having gone into panic mode before he could make out Kono's more benevolent intent, he'd grimace when he heard the man mention meeting a Morph once in the past. Cooper brought his knees to his chest, still feeling guilty for the whole carnival escapade. Leon came into the picture also, slightly calming the grubbin's mini panic attack. At this point, Leon had taken it on himself to be Cooper's adoptive father, which was... interesting so far. All the while, Chip was still tearing at her berry, ignoring the rest of the group in favor of her snack.
Crouching down and sneaking forwards, the Grubbin boy would leap back into the water, making sure his swim cap was on tight, and rolling down the sleeves of his fullbody swimsuit. "A-Act natural, C-C-Cooper..." The boy muttered to himself quietly, kicking his legs to and fro in the steamy water. He could never initiate a conversation for the life of him...

The stranger agreed with Leon, with an additional note of it being off a bit.The Morph just nodded and gave his smirk up until the next question, which put him at a frown. He’d heard the question too much, but he decided it only made sense to ask. “Yes, I’m of a few select breed. I’m certain you know the term… I’m part of the Servine line, genetically enhanced to have all the capabilities of aa Servine. Run fast, recover quickly, shed. Did you know I can go 20 days without food? Probably more, even. I can photosynthesize.”
While he was bantering, he saw Kono look to the rocks, where he could FEEL the anxiety of another creature radiating off the rocks. He had a feeling he knew who it was, considering the two nubs poking out just slightly above the rocks. Soon enough, that figure took to the water, trying to ignore social interaction… no surprise. “So, what brings you out here, mister?” Leon looked back at the Human Coat rack.
