When it comes to strangers, the Houndour can be rather timid, often coming off as vicious in his demeanor due to his frightful nature. He is quick to respond to the orders of his trainer though, often composing himself if ordered to. His loyalty to Cecile is second to none, easily overcoming whatever fear he might have to please his trainer. This is perhaps due to his greatest fear of being abandoned once again. He is rather insecure about himself, often pushing his capabilities to make himself appear tougher than he actually is.

He just enjoys having a good time, one that his trainer can attest to! He loves being around people, seeing them as possible friends to mess around with if he gets his chance. Outside of general tomfoolery, Swirlix has passion as a cook, more so interested in the final product. He would do whatever it takes to get a good meal.

Though she is shy when it comes to those that do accept her, her companions are ones she will guard to the end. This curious little bird gets in quite a bit of trouble, investigating anything that catches her ears her eyes. Like many of her kind, she is friendly with others, often looking to play games. The only issue is her gullible nature, having been conned out of quite a few things and even lied to. Thankfully she is quick to forgive or rather she has a tendency to easily forget. Her memory isn't the best and she tends to make a mess if not properly watched, but at least you have a loving friend to stand beside you!

As much as she love collecting junk, this Pokemon is quite the gourmand. So when it comes down to physical goods, the only thing that will let her relinquish them is food. It was Cecile's cooking that attracted her to the trainer and ended up imposing on one of their meals. She offered quite a few (useless) wonderful items, but somehow received the worse end of the deal, trading all her valuables for a bite of bread. This Pokemon is stubborn though and unable to process the idea of failing and ended up betting herself just for a taste of the main dish. Suffice to say, she ended up happy, even if it meant having to travel alongside the odd trainer.

He has determination though, always trying his best repeatedly, though he is a very straightforward kind of Pokemon. If there is an obstacle in his way, then he'll charge forward and meet the challenge head on! He doesn't care what others think, which makes it awfully difficult for him to learn from his mistakes or learn from criticism. In many ways he is rather thick skinned, having a mellow temperament unless something peaks his interests, content to laze around when he doesn't have a goal in mind.

PERSONALITY — Bounsweet is a blissfully ignorant Pokemon. It's ignorance is so strong that the sweet Pokemon doesn't experience worry nor even fear in the face of danger. It lives its life happily and content, playing with its friends and loved ones with reckless abandon and joy. It cares deeply for others but sometimes has difficulties understanding their problems, it's brain simply ill-equipped to process why they aren't happy. When faced with an upset or sad Pokemon or person, this Bounsweet often finds pretty things such as flowers, shiny rocks, or ribbons and brings them as a sort of tribute to the sad one. It will continue to do this of course and cover the Pokemon or person with these items until they either cheer up or leave. Most would kill to have such a rose-tinted view of the world as this little Pokemon but few would realize the trouble it might cause this Bounsweet's trainer. Due to its lack of danger sense it often gets into trouble and has to be saved regularly, be it from falling into a boiling pot of water it believed would be fun to dance on, or keeping it safe from hungry birds and other Pokemon wishing to eat it. It is a fragrant ball of sweetness and innocence that must be protected from it's own oblivious nature at all times.
