STAFF APPLICATIONS

For those of you who wish to contribute to our community in a more authoritative role, Stellara has open staff applications. Essentially, by submitting the below application, you are putting your name on file to be brought onto the staff team here as you are needed. This allows administration to create a pool of candidates to select from.

Submitting an application does not guarantee that an individual will be brought onto staff. Candidates will all be considered equally when a staff member is needed, but staff reserves the right to choose from the candidates one that best suits their needs based on the criteria found below, as well as other factors, such as the length of time spent on site and dedication an individual has given the site.

Criteria that are marked with an asterisk (*) are considered an essential criterion and must be fulfilled before an application can be submitted and kept on file. While the other criteria are just as important, the ones marked with asterisks need to be fulfilled for clerical purposes.

You must have an approved character on site.*
You must be a member of our Discord. *
You must have been a member of Stellara for at least two weeks.*
You must understand our site rules in full and understand that you will be held to a much higher standard than the majority of members.
You must maintain a certain level of IC activity, though nothing too strenuous.
You must be willing to take of numerous OOC responsibilities that include, but are not limited to: approving apps, spawning Pokemon, welcoming members, maintaining and moderating the Discord chat, welcoming new members, answering questions regarding the site, et cetera.
Demonstrate a somewhat competent understanding of our mechanics.
Maintain an active presence in our Discord chat.
Maintain a friendly and welcoming disposition in chat.
Demonstrate an ability to have a discussion in a mature way.
Demonstrate a love for fair play. Those who seek to use their staff position to elevate their own IC or mechanical position need not apply.
