The morning after catching his newest Pokemon, Rita the Chikorita, Alex awakens alongside Lu. Tai and Rita are found to be sleeping still. Alex stretches abd climbs out of the tent, to start breakfast.
(Good Morning) Lu says yawning. (Could I have Jam on toast this morning?)
"Of course. Could you wake the others?" Alex asks, as he prepares the toast with a skillet.
Tai and Rita join them shortly.
(Jam Rice Ball please?) Tai yawns, stretching.
(Could I get berry juice, please?) Rita asks, rotating her head leaf a few times.
"Of course guys. Jam Toast for Lu, Jam Rice Ball for Tai, berry juice for Rita, and a nice Bacon sandwich for myself," Alex laughs.
Moments later, the friends are all sitting around the campfire eating together.
"Rita, welcome to the family," Alex says between bites.
The smell of bacon cooking wafts through the air.
Alex's Pokemon:
Lu,Male, 7, Quick Attack, Foresight, Cross Chop, Endure, Counter
Tai,Male, 7, Tackle, Mind Reader, Fake Out, Helping Hand, Foresight

Ashton stepped out along the path toward the lake in the early morning, Duster following at his side, carrying a small bag of fishing supplies in his mouth. Out for a fishing trip to the lake, simple enough trip to catch some pokemon (and maybe some food.) He chatted to Duster as he stepped along, smiling, clearly relaxed. ”Well, Duster, hope you’re ready to be out here all day. Fishing isn’t a fast process.” He squinted down at him a bit, and then grinned. ”And I know how impatient you can be…”Duster snuffed, peering up at him, mouth around the straps of the bag he carried. He leaned, bumping into Ashton’s knee, feelers slapping him in the legs. Rude trainer! Ashton hefted his pack, fishing pole and all, over his shoulder, and reached down to pat Duster’s head. Pat pat. ”I’m joking, Duster, I’m joking.” he soothed, smiling. He paused in his step, sniffing the air a few times as he caught a scent. What was that?... Bacon? Aww man, that smelled a lot better than the granola and dried fruit he’d packed for breakfast. He peered around, catching sight of the tent, and the trainer outside of it. Oh! Was that another morph? And a Lucario breed morph, at that? He’d head over toward him curiously, offering a friendly wave to those in the camp. He’d be an imposing sight if he didn’t look so damned friendly, with a wide genuine grin on his face and a cheery wave. ”Well good morning! I wasn’t sure I’d see anyone else out here this early!” Pokemon:>> Duster: Level 15 Sylveon ( Tackle, Baby Doll Eyes, Quick Attack, Helping Hand, Tail Whip, Sand Attack )
>> Medea: Level 15 Zorua ( Scratch, Leer, Pursuit, Fake Tears, Fury Swipes )

Alex looks up at the sound of a new voice. He turns to see a strange fellow with a Sylveon.
"Good morning. My Pokemon and I have been camping here for about two days. Intense training. Hope I'm not trespassing?" Alex says.
(Alex, is he like you? Part Pokemon?) Lu asks, taking his place at Alex's side, unsure of this newcomer.
"I'm Alex. These are my Pokemon. Lu," Alex says patting Riolu, "Tai," Alex points to Tyrogue, "and Rita," Alex indicates Chikorita, "Care to join us for some breakfast? I can whip up anything you or your Sylveon would like as long as it involves Eggs, Berries, rice, and peanuts,"
Alex brings himself to his feet, and smiles cheerfully.

”Intense training, hm? That’s a pretty good choice for an area like this. I sure hope you’re not trespassing, because I would be, too. I think this is a public park, thankfully.” Ashton stepped over toward the group, looking over each Pokemon in kind as they were introduced. His smile grew to a warm grin, and laid a paw-like hand over his stomach as it grumbled in response to the offer of breakfast. Mmm. That sounded excellent, actually. ”Breakfast sounds great. I packed up on dried food to make sure it would be ready for the trail should I decide to hike, but I’d much rather have some fresh eggs and rice.” he replied, stepping over and offering out a large hand to the Riolu morph. ”I’m Ashton Ayredale, and this is my ever faithful companion Duster.” He said, patting Duster with his free hand. He looked toward the Riolu, and offered a happy, friendly smile. ”Yes, I’m a Sylveon morph, born and raised. Same as my father before me!”Ashton grinned widely, more than a little proud of his ‘heritage’ as a Sylveon morph. And he was quite the Morph at that, years of working out and training having given him a physique some would be envious of, no doubt. Duster hopped forward toward the other Pokemon cheerfully, feelers stretching out toward them. ( “Hi! I’m Duster! It’s good to meet you all!” ) The Sylveon said, tone bright and excited as he hopped around to greet all of his new ‘friends’, offering gentle pats and rubs with his feelers to those who would accept them. He was tall, almost all legs and ears, and a decidedly happy fairy-fox, pink tail swishing back and forth quickly. ALEX RULER |

Alex obliges by handing Ashton a plate after putting some Eggs and Rice on it. The Pokemon, save for Tai, introduced themselves.
(Alex, he is in great shape. We need his training regime,) Lu says.
"Did you raise your Sylveon from an Eevee?" Alex asked, kneeling before Duster. "He's quit impressive. Bet his battle skills are out of this world. "Unfortunately I havent captured any fairy type pokemon, so I dont have any Fairy Type food. However, Tai will share a Rice Ball. I hand make them using an old family recipe my mom taught me."
Alex motions for Tai to come over and the Tyrogue sheepishly brings a Riceball on a platter laying it before Duster.
(P-Please don't attack me,) Tai says softly.
"Are you from around here?" Alex asks, raising to his feet. His Lucario ears twitch a bit, but he seems to ignore it.
"The Stellara Region has been great to jse so far. Toughest obstacle Ive faced is convincing Tai that battling can be fun too," Alex says, "I bet an experienced trainer like yourself has a few tips?"

Ashton carefully took up the plate, and nodded his head. He found himself a place to settle down, stretching his legs out as he listened to the question, and then smiling. ”I did, yes. He only evolved recently, really caught me by surprise.” he replied, laughing and shaking his head. He took up a bite of the rice and eggs, letting out a quiet ‘mmmm.’. It was definitely good to get some warm food out here. Much better way to start the day. He glanced over as Tai approached Duster with the rice ball. Duster tilted his head to one side, large ears flopping over to that side as he stepped forward to meet with the Tyrogue. He reached out with a feeler to gently pat at the Tyrogue’s head, exuding a feeling of calm and peace. He smiled brightly. ( “I won’t attack you if we’re not in a battle, don’t worry! And thank you for the food!” ) Ashton smiled down at the two of them as Duster carefully pulled the riceball over with his feelers, chomping at it ravenously. He looked back up to Alex as the other trainer questioned him. ”Ah! Yes, I’m from Lacaille City, to the east. Have you gotten the chance to get out there yet? And I’m glad to hear that Stellara is treating you well. We’re welcoming, for the most part.” He replied, offering a warm smile to him. ”And, as for tips… well. Some Pokemon aren’t really born to battle, so I wouldn’t force him if he really doesn’t want to. But a good training regime can build confidence, and that might change his mind.”He settled down to scarf a few more bites of the food into his mouth, wiping his muzzle and grinning. ”I’ll be honest, I’ve gotten lucky so far with my Pokemon. Outside of a few quirks here and there, most of them have been ready to do whatever they can to help me.”ALEX RULER |

"That makes two of us. Tai has joined Lu and I for spar practice. Other than that, he got an idea from a gentlemen in Vega City about doing Pokemon Contests. We have been working hard on learning techniques to showcase that ability. Its a work in progress," Alex smiles.
(You are welcome,) Tai explains, as the feeling washes over him, (Alex, we need to obtain a Sylveon. I believe if this feeling washes over me, I could battle any Pokemon along side Lu and Rita,) Tai exclaims.
The other Pokemon laugh at him.
"I havent been to Lacaille City yet. Its on my list of places to visit. My Mom wants to find this flower shop there, ran by an old woman named Burmes. She insists that I take a picture in front of it," Alex says.
Taking a moment to eat, Alex swallows his food and looks to Ashton.
"Where are some great training areas around?" Alex asks, "You and Duster arent weaklings so you must know some super secret training spots,"
Rita approaches, nudging her bowl closer to Alex. Alex drops some more food into it.
(Thank you, Alex) she says before continuing to eat.
(Excuse me, Duster, I sense a power hidden deep within you. Stronger than Aura, Stronger than Ki, Stronger than Psychic Energy. Do you know Hidden Power or have you learned a Z-Move?) Lu asks
"Z-Move?" Alex asks, "What are Z-Moves?"

Ashton leaned back, thinking over the question while rubbing at his jaw. He settled forward, stretching a bit. “Well, somewhat nearby are the Helos Ruins, those are known for having a good amount of wildlife in them, it could be a good place to practice if you find the right wild Pokemon.” he said, nodding. “That, and I like to visit any fitness centers or gyms in the cities I visit. I’ve got a little workout regime I do my best to stick too. Use it or lose it, right?”Duster was still lingering around with Tai as Lu addressed him, straightening up a bit. His head tilted to the side, big pink ears flopping to the side cutely as he listened to the Riolu. ( “I haven’t learned a Z-Move yet, but I know Ashton was looking into that! Our really good friend Neos was telling us about those not too long ago.” )Ashton glanced toward Alex as he inquired about Z-Moves, putting his thoughts together to be sure he would be explaining it correctly. “Z-Moves are… interesting. They’re a collection of a trainer and Pokemon’s power together, an incredibly strong attack that’s unique to a Pokemon’s type. They’re exhausting to use, though, from what I’ve read up on it…” he settled back, nodding, “They also require an implement called a Z-Ring, and that’s… easier said than done. I’m not even sure how to find one, honestly!”He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck as he settled back in his seat. ALEX RULER |
