Contest Training[private]

After a few hours in the arms of Prim, Mina awoke with as much determination that she could muster. She was ready to make her master proud and was sure she wouldn't disappoint this time. Prim didn't care if Mina failed, because she knew that no matter what, Mina would keep on trying. So, this time Prim placed the human-shaped targets in other places than the ones before. Prim then continuously worked Mina with the same tactic as before until it was completely perfect. For one final time, Mina was still staying strong and was prepared for the perfection that she had trained so perfectly for. As Prim counted down the numbers for the start of the technique, she then threw the pictures high up into the air. Right as she did this, the little skitty jumped into the air and first did a backflip while using fake out. After this, she mustered up the strength to tackle the other picture to the direction Prim was pointing at. With one final push of energy, Mina used sucker punch and hit the last photo to the final directed target. When she fell down Mina asked with a questioning but faint tone in her voice, "(Did I do it?)" After Prim picked her up she pointed to all the targets and said "Look, Mina, you hit all the targets perfectly. Now we're going to rest for the day and then we'll be trying something different for tomorrow. Is that okay with you." With a weak nod, Mina approved.

With the photos in her hand, Prim asked Mina, "Are you ready?" With a determined glare, Mina nodded with determination. Prim nodded at Skitty and shouted out her countdown as she took 3 photos of 3 of her targets. As she did this she threw it up in the air and watched as Skitty went towards the photos. As she went up into the air, Mina hit the first photo at the target that had the sun behind it's back with fake-out. With a breath of relief, Prim said to herself "Yes!" As she was done with the first one Mina went for the second one. She hit it towards the target that was hanging on the neck of a cactus. It hit the center and Prim went wild. With a short holding of her breath, Prim watched as Mina hit the last photo with sucker punch. When she looked at Mina, the skitty hit it towards the wrong target. It was supposed to be the target hanging off of the short cactus instead of the one in the direction of the town. Even though it wasn't the right one Mina still hit the red circle right in the middle. With a frown, Prim went up to the little pokemon and said to her, "Don't worry, you almost did it perfectly. You just need to be more careful.

Prim and Mina went over the routine 5 more times until it was perfect. One of the times Mina missed the target completely. The other time was win Mina hit the completely different target. There were 3 occasions where Mina missed the pictures with her attacks. Prim wasn't worried because she was sure that Mina would make it work this time. Prim had so much hope in her and she had the right to be because this time was the last time they would be doing this competition, until the contest. Prim took 3 pictures and then counted down from 3 to start Mina off. As she did this Mina got ready and stretched herself up as if she was a rubber band that was going to sling upwards. After Prim released the photos, Mina released from her position and shot straight up. She then did the regular routine as she hit the ground with her legs.

Whenever Prim inspected the photos she looked at them closely to see if there were any mistakes. When she looked at them she saw that none of them were actually wrong or not on the center.  She picked them up and then ripped them up. Mina then looked at her questioningly as Prim through the pieces of paper in the air. As they fell down like confetti, Mina pranced around like she was the winner of the contest already. Using this perfect moment, Prim picked up her camera and got a perfect shot of the little skitty being rained on by photo confetti. They then both smiled as they realized that they were done with training for now.
