Lyra Cedar is a small girl with pale purple hair and pink eyes, not to mention pale skin due to her tendency to prefer being stuck inside inventing things and doing research as opposed to standing out in the hot sun, unless it comes to training her Pokemon. Her hair is rather long, but is often well-maintained to show the time and effort she puts into maintaining it. Lyra is often seen wearing a white lab coat, wearing rather adorable dresses that add to the image of her being a simple little girl. She is a bit undersized in terms of height and weight for someone of her age, and often tends to wear comical high heels to make herself seem taller than she actually is. She is also thin as a rail for someone of her age, but while not malnourished and underweight, seems to be naturally thin. One would even say she has a stick figure.


Lyra is the very definition of a bratty half-pint. She is very confident, self-absorbed, narcissistic, and extremely prideful in herself and her so-called intellect. She constantly refers to herself by the title of Girl Genius, and is very condescending towards others in regards to their so-called 'inferior minds'. She is one who tends to rant and monologue about her greatness and her plans, which is often what leads to her own downfall, and despite her so-called intellect, is someone who often tends to make the same mistakes and not learn from them, only making some slight adjustments here and there to better suit her desires.

To go along with her raging ego, she suffers from megalomania, her ultimate desire being to conquer the world and be appreciated as the superior person she believes herself to be. She is very exuberant and excitable, often being full of energy because of her desire of world domination. Prone to laughing maniacally a lot, she is always hatching scheme after scheme to ensure that she succeeds in her plans, and no matter how much she tends to lose, she goes right back into plotting her next move.

She is a lover of both Pokemon and science, desiring to mix them together for the sake of achieving her quest of world domination. While a firm believer in power and might when it comes to the Pokemon she wants, she is also dedicated to making what she calls the perfect team, wanting the perfect Pokemon to match her own image of being the perfect trainer, someone who cannot be bested or stopped. She is very comical and over-the-top in her antics, very boastful and close to being hyperactive.

Despite her overall condescending, arrogant nature, and overall villain-esque persona, she can be quite friendly when the situation calls for it, even though she would prefer not to be, and has a deep sense of fair play. She enjoys banter with others, and enjoys a good confrontation because to her, winning is made all the sweeter when she has to work for it. Aside from world domination, she has the desire of obtaining a nemesis, someone who will constantly get in her way and thwart her plans.

Very good when it comes to technology, she is often seen fiddling around with tools and electronic devices to create some kind of machine or other mechanical doohickey to help her in her path of conquest. She is also very loving when it comes to her Pokemon, taking on the role of a supportive older sister to them as she nurtures them and raises them to be the very best they can possibly be. She is someone who actually honors her deals and is all about playing by some manner of rules for the sake of challenging herself and giving her some limitations, since she is still a kid after all.

Although someone who believes herself to be better than others, she is very self-conscious about her height, and often tends to blow her top whenever anyone makes a comment about her height. She is prone to flying into childish temper tantrums whenever something gets under her skin. The most striking feature about her is the way she talks. She has the distinct accent of a valley girl, one who overuses the words like, so, totally, and stuff verbatim that tends to make her sound very dumb, despite her so-called 'superior intellect'. The most striking thing about the way she talks, however, is that she often uses the word idiot and many variations of that word as an insult when talking to other people.


Lyra Cedar was born to a pair of hippies who lived in Hamal Town, a place of relaxation and leisure. From day one, Lyra showed rapid development in growth, learning how to talk and walk far sooner than most infants would. Lyra was very smart for her age, also possessing a photographic memory, and was someone who enjoyed knowledge in it's purest form, always sneaking away to get to as many textbooks as she could. Whether it be about Pokemon, machinery and electronics, or even medicine, she had an unusual understanding of these fields, and actively shut herself in doors to learn all she could about them due to how fascinating she found them. This overall shut-in nature of hers, combined with her parents praising her for being so smart, she eventually developed an ego that lead to her desiring more and more from the world around her.

Her ultimate influence into the development of maniacal evil genius, came from the cartoons she watched. She was also intrigued by the super villains and their overall mindsets, and as such stylized herself after them, adopting as many of their mannerisms into herself so she could emulate them. She was quick to adopt an overall condescending nature and narcissism over her developing years, and was quick to become a mad scientist dedicated to conquering the world. Her parents figured she was just really into the cartoons and was just playing around, as such they tended to be oblivious to the things she was up to. Lyra the Girl Genius, as she called herself, believed the first step to this was to become a Pokemon Trainer, as a villain typically needed strong Pokemon to back up what they said and did. So, when it came time for her to become a trainer, she eagerly picked up a Trapinch she called Chompy, and set out on her quest of becoming the next Champion, which would be one big step for her in terms of becoming the ruler of the world.

PERSONALITY — Chompy is a very loving Pokemon, very affectionate towards his trainer and also quite mischievous. He often shows affection by biting the top of Lyra's head, as he is quite fond of biting anything. He has a bit of an appetite, and often tends to wander around biting everything he sees. Chompy is often very eager to fight, quite fearless, and will happily face down any would-be opponent that comes his way, even if he has no chance in winning. He is also very loyal to his trainer, and is often quick to jump to her defense if he feels she's in danger.
