Sammi is a bubbly friendly person who is always open to others. She enjoys the world around her and avoids taking its many wonders for granted. To be fair the young girl can often be ditzy at times and come off as someone stupid when she speaks, but this by no means reflects her complete character. In reality Sammi is very tactical and forward thinking but she often says stupid things without thinking. Sammi is the type to skip around with a smile on her face as the rain soaks through her hair and puddles muddy up her shoes; she lets the harshness of the world roll off her shoulders and decides to avoid the negatives. While Sammi would be the first to boost someone else up she herself is very self conscious and critical of her own behavior at times. Though she doesn’t look it the young girl is actually very socially challenged and worries constantly about what others think of her, she often asks offhandedly if someone close if she is okay as she needs reassurance that she isn’t annoying others. She plays this outgoing persona but in reality she is fearful of what others think of her.


Early Life (Before Stellara) -
Sammi was always an odd child, growing up in the elegant city of Lumiose the young girl was constantly surrounded by high fashion and picture perfect Pokémon. Her mother is a professional photographer who specialized in Pokémon and Trainer photos while her father works with her on set design. The duo made a modest living from their craft allowing them to care for their three kids, the youngest and only girl Sammi and her two older twin brothers Andrew and Nathen. Andy and Nate grew up battling both finding rivals in each other always growing stronger together. Sammi loved and looked up to her brothers in her youth, without knowing it the two even changed Sammi’s path in life. Sammi only saw the two sparingly once she hit the age of 8 as the two 14 year olds started on their own Pokémon journey. The duo would often stop by the house for short periods of time due to Lumiose’s accessibility all through Kalos, but they both planned to become the best Duo team in existence.

Fashion was a big part of Sammi’s childhood as whenever she went to photo shoots with her parents she would see both people and Pokémon in illustrious outfits one could only imagine. The young girl wanted to make these outfits but at the same time she found the occupation alone dull and boring. The plush pink and puffy over exaggerated outfits just seemed restricting and useless to her; a love for battling made these outfits even more obsolete in her future as they only got in the way of battling. The only time this flashy fashion worked well in a battle sense was the Pokémon contests that Sammi sometimes saw on tv, to be honest though she preferred the excitement of battle to the dazzle of contests.

At the age of 12 Sammi started keeping a sketch book of outfit designs for bother Pokémon and trainers alike that were both functional and fashionable. At first her designs were crude but with constant positive feedback and helpful tips from her parents her drawing and designing talents bloomed. Her parents fed this talent with tailoring lessons and access to fabrics. By the age of 13 Sammi had made her first trainer jacket, it was messy and imperfect but it was a start.

The Move -
Sammi had only heard of the Stellara region in class but only remembered it vaguely. At the age of 14 the young girl had started to think about her Pokémon journey and how she intended to use her interactions and experiences as inspiration for her hobby. She was even going to ask her parents about starting her journey only for them to announce a move. It was at a dinner with her two brothers, now 18, when her parents dropped the bomb. They spoke of a change in pace and new job opportunities, asking for our understanding and thoughts. They spoke of the landmarks and and beauty while also alluding to a notoriously difficult Pokémon league for the boys to challenge. Sammi was torn, she would need to wait longer to start her journey so that she could get use to the new region but she would also get a chance to see a different region entirely. She didn’t want to go but at the same time she desperately wanted to, in the end she decided to fake excitement as to not ruin the good mood of everyone else. She convinced herself it would be for the better.

Stellara -
Sammi liked Stellara but missed Lumiose’s fashion, she felt out of her Element in the beginning as Stellara seemed more natural than Kalos, specifically the move to Baltis City was very disorienting. While the landscape was breathtaking the lacking city scape was odd and new. Her drawings became more natural and she began to find inspiration in the nature around her, it was amazing really. Taking an extra year to become acquainted with the new Region Sammi designed herself a new trainer outfit that would be flexible and fit for the differing climates and landscapes. A few months after her 15th birthday the young girl started on her Pokémon journey.

PERSONALITY — Stikki is a clingy Pokémon, she doesn’t like to leave Sammi’s side for long and often can be found clinging to her Trainer. Stikki is very protective of her trainer and would always throw herself in harms way if it meant the safety of those she loves. Bold and outspoken the Goomy is very quick witted and often verbally attacks her opponents in some way as to size them out. Stikki’s major flaw is that she can be too protective of what she dubs hers, the Goomy doesn’t like to share and that will never change.
