Mira's Trade branch wasn't hard to find, what with her fondness for neon it seemed. Darcy had read about the function of the place, and while he at first felt twinges of guilt the young man had made up his mind. The Cranidos they'd stumbled across in the Gurios Mountain caverns had been abusing the local Pokemon for sport and in the handful of attempts that Darcy had to communicate with it were futile. The head butt dinosaur was obstinate and showed more than a few cruel tendencies; with Rogue, Darcy had managed to muster the patience to work through him.
With the walking battering ram? Not so much.
He sighed as he approached the counter, holding out a Pokeball gingerly.
"Um....hi. I'm sorry about this, but I was wondering if you could appraise him for me? I caught him, but he's not really working with my team."
Darcy gnawed on the tip of his thumb as he passed the Pokeball over. Perhaps someone out there would be dedicated enough to deal with the dinosaur, but the fairy tale boy wasn't someone with that level of patience. At least not when the Pokemon in question wasn't another fairy type.

A particularly difficult Pokemon, Cranidos constantly strives to prove himself better, bigger, and stronger than every other Pokemon he comes across; to maintain this delusion of grandeur, he'll outright avoid battling bigger and tougher Pokemon. Underneath his prickly exterior there's just a scared little Pokemon looking for friends, though it'll take quite a trainer to earn that level of his trust.
