Her fortune from the day prior was wobbling behind Shiori on slightly uncertain legs as the girl weaved her way through Antares City, babbling to the Bounsweet that kept pace with her just behind their trainer. Posie was obviously still a little skittish, and Shiori couldn't blame her. Bulbasaur weren't exactly the most common Pokemon, after all, and she'd found her new friend being harassed by a Heracross. Queenie had made short work of the bug type thanks to a power blast of Play Rough, and Shiori was now a trainer of two grass types for the Stellara region and league. She needed to catch the next transport out of the city if she wanted to hit her next grass type haven to see what she might find, though remaining in the Jungle was tempting. Yet the girl couldn't bring herself to, especially if she needed to get Posie acclimated to traveling and used to being a member of the team.
Shiori flicked through her digital map of Stellara, musing on her next stop. She'd dipped a toe in the jungle already, but there was still several noteworthy places definitely worth checking out. The Tucana Rainforest sounded prime for grass type habitats, as did the Kaxyl Forest; then of course there was always the desert and the grass types who made that region home. The girl's mind may have been distracted by the map and her musings, but she still devoted a part of her brain to processing the information around her. Multi-tasking was a key part of any trainers experiences, especially in a city that happened to be built into a jungle. The odds of running into a wild Pokemon were rather high, given those circumstances.
"What do we have here?" Shiori stopped, her Pokemon nearly bumping into her legs, as she watched the leaves from some nearby brush begin to rattle violently.

Queenie hopped around to the front of Shiori, Posie following behind intently.
(Show yourself!) The Bounsweet called, a wary tone to her voice.
The head that popped out of the foliage was blue and yellow, shiny black eyes like beads curious at the intrusion. The mareep was munching on a mouthful of leaves from the bush and baa-d slightly when his mouth emptied. Shiori's sigh of disappointment was palpable. " Just a Mareep? Lame." She walked off, the pair of plants following her. The Mareep sheepishly ducked his head back into the brush. He didn't think he was lame.
(Does Shiori write off anything that isn't a grass type?) Posie asked. She was still acclimating to the girl.
(Yup.) Queenie's reply was short and succinct. (It's why she's so good at raising us and training us.)
The bulbasaur did admit the idea of only being surrounded by other grass types sounded appealing. Almost like her nest back in the jungle.

PASSING on the Mareep, poor lil' bugger.

OoC: I'm most definitely gonna go for a catch on this Treecko, but I was hoping for a mod generated personality this time, if you'd please. ^.^ Oh, and if it makes it easier I'mma go for it being female. #allgirlPokemonteam #lethaladies #floralfemmefatales

WILD POKEMON SPAWN TREECKO Level 6, Female, Overgrow Pound, Leer, Absorb, Grass Whistle
Personality: This Treecko is something of a stoic no-nonsense pokemon that was built for battle. She is something of a military type that thrives on the battlefield, but struggles with dealing with other things of life, being awkward or even clumsy in social situations. She does not aim to be the strongest pokemon in the world, but, Treecko simply yearns for a cause that she can fight for with everything she has. And as long as her trainer follows the same sense of universal justice as she does, she will follow them all the way. Treecko likes to always think one step ahead of her opponent when fighting, and likes to think tactically. However, she needs guidance in regards to the strategy behind it, as she somewhat struggles with that element of battle. CATCH or PASS? If you want to make your own personality for the Pokemon, post the Pokemon's personality in your next post, and detail the capture process. If you want me to make the Pokemon's personality, simply post saying so.

As Shiori and the pair of grass types continued on, they passed through a small overhang to one of the city's numerous parks. The trees were vibrant and full of life, Pokemon buzzing about them.
(So why does Shiori only train grass Pokemon?) Posie asked the Bounsweet.
(Well, I don't really know why. I met her as an almost fresh hatchling surrounded by my sisters. Shiori recognized my talents and asked the old man who trained my mother and hatched us if she could have me.)
A lone figure on a branch in the trees above was listening to the story, yellow eyes narrowing slightly.
(She's been traveling with grass Pokemon for awhile at least. She loves us. Thinks the rest of the world needs to realize how important and strong we are.)
The figure crept further down the branch, hopping to another branch nearby to listen more intently.
(You're fresh outta the Egg still Posie, but give Shiori time. She'll help you grow into a big ol' Venusaur in no time flat. Just like how I'm gonna grow into a real queen someda-)
The Bounsweet and Bulbasaur's exchange, happily being listened to by Shiori who was grateful the pair seemed to get along so well, was interrupted by a sudden blur of green landing infront of Shiori and her team. The girl stopped short, raising a hand slightly. The lime green skin, the bulbous forest green coloration of the tail, those confident yellow eyes...
"Well hello there Treecko." Shiori said, clasping her hands behind her back.
(You're the one who's goal is to show the world the gentle strength of Grass?) The Treecko's voice was calm, and even if Shiori didn't understand it most decidedly feminine in tone. (Let me see your power human, with the one praising you!) The Treecko pointed one of her fingers to Queenie, who hopped forward.
"If it's a battle you'd like...." Shiori began.
(It's a battle you'll get!) The Bounsweet finished her statement with a confident twirl of her sepals. Posie stood back in slight awe of the situation.
Shiori knelt down to the Bulbasaur. "Sorry dear-heart. I think the Treecko specifically wants to battle our little Queenie. Don't worry. We'll get you battle-ready soon. Just remember to watch Queenie and I this time. This is how a trainer and Pokemon team battle."
Treecko waited for the human to finish consoling the Bulbasaur. She had her honor, after all. When the girl stood, the Treecko nodded. Shiori returned it with a smile.
The gecko darted forward as the battle commenced, dodging and weaving across the field faster than the Bounsweet could keep up. Speed was one thing Shiori's team was sorely lacking at the moment; it was refreshing to get such a spritely grass type in her cross hairs. The girl didn't call an attack, nor did the Bounsweet seem worried.
(If you won't take the offensive,) The Treecko cried before bouncing onto a tree, (Allow me!)
Treecko flipped off the tree, increasing her speed to deliver a power Pound attack.
Shiori, waiting until the gecko was mid-air, finally cried, "Now, Rapid Spin!"
Queenie chirped affirmation before teetering on her little legs and suddenly spinning like a top. The Treecko's thick tail collided with the spinning Bounsweet, whacking the spinning Pokemon away, but the impact also caught it in the Rapid Spin attack. The Treecko was launched teetering in the air to the side.
(Waiting for the last moment to counter attack?) The Treecko said, climbing to her feet and brushing some dirt from her tail.
(I'm not the fastest Pokemon, but Shiori's got some tricks up her sleeve.) Queenie replied. She hadn't tried to dodge, but instead thrown the Treecko off balance.
(Not bad, but I won't be so easily tricked again!) The Treecko ran forward, making a beeline for the Bounsweet. If she went for a Rapid Spin, then surely a Leer would slow her down enough for a Pound to work...
"Let's meet her in the middle and show her how we play Queenie!" Shiori called, egging her fruit Pokemon forward.
The Treecko, having encountered Bounsweet before, expected a Play Nice from the fruit to lower her offensive prowess for a time. Even so, a Leer would surely leave the Fruit Pokemon reeling to allow her Pound to work!
Imagine the poor Treecko's surprise when, just a foot away, the Bounsweet hopped forward surrounded by shimmering pixie dust the crackled like a sparkler, dangerously. She didn't have time to redirect or dodge, and even when she tried to Leer, the Play Rough smacked her head on!
Queenie gave a happy coo as she launched the Treecko backwards, watching the sparkler shots of her pixie-powered tackle ignite against it and inflict a burn.
The Treecko struggled to rise, burn damage flaring against her. How was this possible? How could a Bounsweet use such a strong move so young, and burn her with it too? Her will to fight had even diminished from the embarrassment of underestimating the Bounsweet. She walked over to the human, flinching from the burn.
(If you'll train me,) The Treecko began, (I'll follow you, Lady Shiori)
The Treecko kneeled, and Shiori produced a Pokeball. Queenie was a team player and Posie was a little shy, but such a stalwart little grass-type deserved a name befitting herself. And a cute name too.
