Money for Nothing "Yo! Rocky, you fatass! We ready or not?" Miyoko called upwards, voice barely audible over the sound of water rushing nearby. Head tilted back as she peered into the depths of the massive tree above, the trainer's impatience was fairly obvious with her arms crossed over her chest, heel rising and falling as the jungle's overwhelming humidity made her rust colored t shirt and jeans far heavier than they normally were. At this point her sneakers were probably going to need to be replaced entirely, soaked through with water and caked with mud - yet, despite her apparent displeasure, it was exactly where she wanted to be. Environments like this had been part of Miyoko's life ever since she was a child, and Sevii had only served to deepen her tolerance towards inconveniences that most other people would find unbearable. Where there was a will there was a way, after all. Where her current displeasure stemmed from, however, was the Heracross hidden somewhere in the massive tree above her. It'd been maybe a day and a half since they had entered Yanna Jungle planning to finally start building her team up after two years of wandering Stellara and slowly feeding her bank account with odd jobs and the like, but after so long Miyoko had started to think that it was time they challenged the region's Gyms again. After a day of nothing, however, Rocky had indicated interest in one of the trees they'd been passing by, presumably with the intent to search it for Bug types as Miyoko could not. After the first fifteen minutes, though, the Bug type's motives had become apparent when bits of fruit remains had started falling, narrowly missing her in the process. "Come on, you want a fight or not? Longer we spend here the more our chances of finding anything go down!"That got his attention. Leaves shuffling, the dull roar of large beetle wings would fill the air as Rocky practically dropped down in what was little more than a controlled fall, his wings serving to guide and slow his descent as the Pokemon landed almost dangerously close to Miyoko. Eyes locked onto his trainer and clearly waiting for her to take the lead, Miyo would turn with a weary sigh, leaning her neck just enough for the stiff joints to pop after fifteen minutes of looking up. Moving ahead of her, the Bug type would make short work of the dense underbrush as he cleared a path deeper into the jungle. Heracross - Level 5. Endure, Arm Thrust, Bullet Seed, Night Slash, Horn Attack, Leer, Megahorn (Signature Move - Unblockable). @tag |

Money for Nothing "So, what was the plan back there? How much were you planning to eat before I left you behind?" Miyoko began, eyes squarely on Heracross's back as the Pokemon used his forelimbs to cut a swath through the jungle's dense plant growth with relative ease. For his part, though, Heracross knew better than to take the bait. As good natured as he was the Pokemon had been around Miyoko long enough to be aware that she'd continue to pester him about it whether he answered or not, and the fastest, most effective way to change the subject was to find something to battle. While she might not have been looking forward to a potential fight as much as he probably was, the trainer knew when to prioritize things and would be far more focused on a potential capture than pestering him over an earlier annoyance. Making a point of getting through the growth as quickly as possible to the clearing he'd spotting earlier from the tree top, both Pokemon and trainer completely missed the presence of a small Grass type, a Pokemon perfectly happy with remaining undisturbed as they passed it by.

TOTODILE Level 5, Male, Torrent Scratch, Leer, Block Ever the troublemaker, much of Nibbler's personality is defined in by both mischief and curiosity in equal measure. With choices mostly made on a whim the Totodile is extremely difficult to control under even the best of circumstances, leaving him easily distracted by new stimuli. To the Water type a battle isn't a fight, but rather a chance to experience something new - and by extension he'll often poke and prod at the opponent rather than take the battle seriously, dragging things out longer than he needs to and usually without the caution exhibited by more serious fighters. That isn't to say that the Pokemon isn't without his strong points, however. A predatory species by nature, Nibbler's combat instincts are usually much more acute than that of other Pokemon which is largely what allows him to take such a laid back approach to things, and the Pokemon himself is usually quite well mannered when calm and able to focus.
