NAME — Queenie
LEVEL — 9
SPECIES — Bounsweet, the Fruit Pokemon
TYPE — Grass
EGG GROUP — Grass
ABILITY — Oblivious
HELD ITEM — N/A
GENDER — Female
HEIGHT — 1’ 2”
WEIGHT — 7.8 lbs
MOVE LIST — Splash, Play Nice, Play Rough (Egg Move/Signature Move - Burn), Rapid Spin
PERSONALITY — Bounsweet may not be known for being particularly intelligent, but Queenie seems to break that mold. A little fruit Pokemon with a lot of moxie, she's well aware that bird Pokemon would rather eat her than befriend her, something her siblings back in Lush jungle just couldn't seem to grasp. Constantly butting heads with them over the intentions of the local Trumbeak, or just trying to explain how dangerous the world really was for little plants like themselves, exasperated her to no end. She's grateful to Shiori for taking her away from that mess and for the opportunity to grow stronger with a trainer. The fact that Shiori's only ever expressed interest in raising grass types has also given the Bounsweet a fair bit of security and comfort. To say she's slightly paranoid about bird Pokemon might be an understatement, truth be told. Given her history in the jungle, she's not above playing the big sister to other Pokemon, regardless of their size relation to hers.
NAME — Posie
LEVEL — 6
SPECIES — Bulbasaur, the Seed Pokemon
TYPE — Grass/Poison
EGG GROUP — Monster, Grass
ABILITY — Overgrow
HELD ITEM — N/A
GENDER — Female
HEIGHT — 2'01"
WEIGHT — 14.9 lbs
MOVE LIST — Tackle, Growl, Grass Whistle
PERSONALITY —
Posie's a very young Bulbasaur, only recently having left her family group. She's a little naive about the world and prone to crying fits when she's overwhelmed, often wishing she could be back with her brothers and Mama in the depths of the Yanna Jungle. She's beginning to idolize Queenie for saving her from a Heracross and, despite being physically larger than the Bounsweet, follows the fruit Pokemon like a lost puppy. She refers to Queenie as big sis and treats the Bounsweet's word like law, obviously using the fruit Pokemon as a replacement role model for her now distant mother. Skitterish around humans, she's got a ways to go before she fully trusts even her newfound trainer Shiori thanks to the attitudes her Mama instilled in her as a hatchling. Her experiences with the Heracross have given her a certain stigma towards bug types, though she remains hopeful that with Queenie's aid and Shiori's coaching she'll never need to worry about a bug type feeding off of her again. She hopes to grow as big, strong, and beautiful as her Mama so that she can help the jungle grow someday.
NAME — Leafie
LEVEL — 6
SPECIES — Treecko, the Wood Gecko Pokemon
TYPE — Grass
EGG GROUP — Monster, Dragon
ABILITY — Overgrow
HELD ITEM — N/A
GENDER — Female
HEIGHT — 1' 10"
WEIGHT — 11.9 lbs
MOVE LIST — Pound, Leer, Absorb, Grass Whistle
PERSONALITY —
Leafie is something of a stoic no-nonsense pokemon that was built for battle. She is something of a military type that thrives on the battlefield, but struggles with dealing with other things of life, being awkward or even clumsy in social situations. She does not aim to be the strongest pokemon in the world, but, Leafie simply yearns for a cause that she can fight for with everything she has. And as long as her trainer follows the same sense of universal justice as she does, she will follow them all the way.
Leafie likes to always think one step ahead of her opponent when fighting, and likes to think tactically. However, she needs guidance in regards to the strategy behind it, as she somewhat struggles with that element of battle.
She winds up joining Shiori's team after challenging the trainer and her Bounsweet to a battle and losing; she's not exactly enthusiastic that her nickname sounds so sweet in lieu of something a little more impressive, but she's relented on the matter. It's better than the initially proposed "Twiggie" at least.
NAME — Birdie
LEVEL — 6
SPECIES — Rowlet, the Grass Quill Pokemon
TYPE — Grass / Flying
EGG GROUP — Flying
ABILITY — Overgrow
HELD ITEM — N/A
GENDER — Female
HEIGHT — 1' 00"
WEIGHT — 3.3 lbs
MOVE LIST — Leafage, Growl, Tackle, Confuse Ray
PERSONALITY —
Birdie's slightly crass mannerisms and speech come from a life of relative relaxation in the Kaxyl Forest before being captured by Shiori and her team. She loves a routine, and her normal routine consisted of sleeping and photosynthesizing all day while hunting for yummy rodents at night. She was used to it, comfortable with it, and she's gonna miss it in the coming days as she adjusts to being on a Pokemon team. She values her beauty sleep above all else, prematurely being a preener before she even evolves so who knows how neurotic she'll become about her looks after evolving. Attempting to disrupt her sleep will at best get a wise crack from the owl and at worst a Leafage to your face. As the lone bird on the team, even with her grass typing she sometimes feels like a bit of a loner. Though deep down she wishes she could easily make friends like Posie and Queenie seem to, the Bounsweet doesn't trust her and the Treecko, Leafie, still seeks a rematch for the humiliation the Rowlet visited on her.
Though she's rather lazy, Birdie possesses a tactical fighting style that emphasizes her ability to move about the sky and sow confusion amidst her enemies. She taunts her enemies and shows a bit of a sadistic streak at times, though when the going gets tough (or boring) she's likely to try to fly off instead of ruffling her own feathers.
