Squall had ventured through a lot of different places but this one was new to her. She hadn't meant to bring her party into these haunted woods and yet here she was, trudging through thick and nasty muck. Her boots were covered in mud and she was sure she smelt to high heavens. Doom had been too stubborn to go back into his Pokeball and so he too braved the four inch thick swamp. Squall would be cleaning him for days to get the stench out of his coat. She should have turned around when she'd first walked into the dead space but it was too late to turn back now. Embeara was perched on her shoulder, clinging to the girls shirt with little claws, she'd tried to fly at first but the thick smog made traveling by air extremely hard. "We'll get through this in once piece." Squall assured her team.

Squall was so worried about the swamp and getting stuck that it wasn't till Doom growled low in his throat that she realized they weren't a lone. The small Pokemon was simply wandering around a long rotted tree, poking at it every so often. The blond wasn't feeling it though, she did have high hopes of adding more to her team, but this Bellsprout was not it. "Doom, go take care of it." She stated coldly, pointing her companion towards the grass type. With a quick Flamethrower the team was assured that the wild pokemon would at least not follow them.
