Calem was really not sure what he took this job. Yes, he needed money and that was important but..he never taught anyone about Pokemon in his life. Sure he had experience but he never tried to teach someone how to do it. It was something new for him, but it'd be a good experience. He'd flash his cape behind him as he walked into the school. Fetch flew beside him as he walked into the Pokemon School. The Teacher turned, "This is Calem he is going to teach you the basics of Pokemon battling." The Kids began to clap as he turned bowing his head to them. "Thank you for letting me come." He pulled on his collar was he quite nervous. One of the kids seemed to break the ice pointing at his Pokemon, "What type of Pokemon is that one." Some of the kids looked at each other. They must have never seen a Farfetch'd. He'd smirk, "This is a rare Pokemon from a distant land of Pokemon Samurai. It can swing this Piece of Leak like a sword. Its name is Farfetch'd." As Farfetch'd (Ha Get it....nevermind) as it sounded they were just kids and kids were easy to trick. They began to ooh and ahh at the Pokemon while the teacher mentally facepalmed. This was the person she brought in.
With the Ice, Broken Calem turned to the chalkboard, "You don't mind if I use this right." The Teacher turned, "No, of course, does not go ahead." He'd turn as he began to draw some symbol on the board. He'd draw 3 symbols with each different meaning. He'd point to the bottom one, "These are three most important elements of Pokemon battling First is Tactical Foresight." The Kids looked at each other confused. "You must be able to think ahead in a Pokemon battle. You can't rush headstrong into a Pokemon battle swinging to the fences for victory." He did the exact opposite but might as well teach kids how he uses to battle. "You have to craft your attack plan on how your foe uses the world around him and hence the second rule, Surrounding." He'd turn pointing to the second picture which was a tree. "Pokemon battling can take place in a whole set of environments and a Pokemon master is able to take advantage of what is around them. For Example, if I was out in the woods I could use the tree to block attacks or hide so my foe is unable to find my Pokemon before your trap is sprung." He'd turn to see the kids writing down what he had to say. That must of meant he was doing a good job. "The Most important is to bond with your Pokemon. A Pokemon true strength can only be tapped when Trainer and Pokemon have an understanding of one another. If you cannot care for your Pokemon then they cannot care for you. Then you will have nothing." The Kids clapped as he turned trying to think of what next to say.
"Now in Pokemon battling itself, you also got to understand three other key factors. First types. A Pokemon type can show which Pokemon it'd have the favor against and a disadvantage against. Just because your Pokemon weak to that type does not mean anything if you're able to use the three factors above. However, it is something you need to always keep in mind. A second key factor is a size. Pokemon have all different shapes and sizes. Some Pokemon have brute power other have great speed. It is up to you the trainer to analyze what the best course of action for your Pokemon is and the most effective way to battle. The third-factor one has to keep in mind is Fatigue. Pokemon have to rest every once in awhile. Even if your Pokemon on a roll don't hesitate to switch them out if you think they need to rest. Pokemon battling is not about pushing Pokemon till they collapse. They are partners and if they need rest they deserve it." He'd stop bowing as the kids clapped. "Thank you, mister." One of the boys said as he turned nodding. He'd begin to step out as the teacher turned, "You didn't do half bad." She said as he smiled, "Thank you I hope to be back." He'd say before walking out. That was a fun experience for him.
