TEAM CRUX
OVERVIEW
Team Crux is an organized crime organization that exists within the Stellara Region. It started off as a small gang of like-minded individuals; however, over the years, it has grown into the menace it is now. Team Crux is incredibly notorious and feared throughout the Stellara Region; just the sight of Team Crux agents is enough to send a city into a panicked frenzy. This organization is not above stealing, kidnapping, smuggling, killing and any other crimes in order to further their goals. Their goals are many: one of them is to establish complete control over the Stellara Region and to monopolize the Pokemon League in Team Crux’s favor. Another is to unlock the full potential of Pokemon and being able to apply the same powers a Pokemon has to a human. As a result, Team Crux has conducted massive amounts of research into morphs -- humans who possess amounts of Pokemon DNA. Some say that Team Crux eventually wants to form an army of superhumans, those powered by Pokemon DNA, complete with equally powerful Pokemon. It is even rumored that Team Crux wants to harness the power of the Legendaries and be able to apply their powers to Team Crux’s agents. If Team Crux manages to accomplish this, there is no telling what they will be able to do with such unprecedented power.
Joining Team Crux can be done in a variety of ways. One way is to seek out Team Crux agents and ask to join. However, most of the time, hopeful members will have to prove themselves in order to be admitted into the organization, either by completing a task, battling a Team Crux member or providing something of interest. Sometimes, members can join through Team Crux through family ties, though the initiation process remains the same. A third way Team Crux gains new members is through straight kidnapping or intimidation; the organization is known for forcing people to join its ranks.
Team Crux members enjoy a variety of perks and benefits. Unlike many other villainous teams, Team Crux cares deeply for its members and ensures that they get the best of anything possible. As a result, Team Crux has a force that is incredibly eager to do whatever it needed of them, and morale is generally high. The perks that all Team Crux members get are all the following:
- Access to Team Crux exclusive missions which offer special rewards not otherwise obtainable by other trainers.
- Free transportation to any part of the Stellara Region as well as access to Team Crux bases scattered throughout the region.
- Access to special Team Crux resources and procedures that will be unveiled as the plot progresses.
RANKS
AGENT is the lowest rank in Team Crux. Most members of Team Crux are agents and serve as the backbone of the entire organization. Agents are the ones who do a majority of the work; although their authority within Team Crux isn’t too high, they are still invaluable and highly responsible for Team Crux’s success. As such, Agents enjoy plenty of benefits and are treated with respect by higher ranked members.
OFFICER is the next rank above Agent. Officers act as managers and are often assigned to be in charge of squads of Agents. Officers lead their squads on various missions and often are the first people Agents go to if they have a problem or issue that needs to be resolved. Becoming an Officer requires a fair amount of combat experience as well as numerous successful field operations. Officers are the second most populous rank after Agents; there needs to be plenty of Officers to account for Team Crux’s massive number of Agents.
ENFORCER is one of the upper ranks of Team Crux. Enforcers are responsible for numerous Officers and all of the Agents assigned to them and even directly find missions and tasks for Team Crux members to do. Enforcers are also the ones who oversee a local Team Crux base and make sure that everything is running smoothly. This is when Team Crux members start to access the organization’s most exclusive resources; however, to reach this point, a Team Crux member has to show that he or she has the skill, tenacity and desire to handle the immense power this position grants.
DIRECTOR is the highest ranked member of Team Crux, right below the Leader. These individuals are some of the most powerful members of Team Crux and have great amounts of authority in terms of how the organization is run and over its members. Directors are often assigned to monitor entire sections of the Stellara Region and all of the Team Crux members present in that area. There are only a few Directors in Team Crux at any given time, and it is truly a prestigious position to gain. Really, only the best that Team Crux has to offer have a chance of ever becoming a Director.
The LEADER is just that: the leader of all of Team Crux. It is the highest position in all of Team Crux and the one with the most power. While the Leader does not have total authority, their thoughts and opinions hold incredible weight. The rank of Leader is currently taken and ultimately cannot be assumed by someone else unless the Leader is forcibly removed from his or her position, defects, is killed or any other circumstance occurs to where the Leader is unable to perform his or her duties.
PROMOTIONS
Promotions are handled on a case-by-case basis. Whenever you believe you deserve a promotion, make a post in the TEAM CRUX ROSTER thread in the Canon Positions board and make your case. Link any and all relevant threads that will display why you are deserving of a promotion. Staff will reply stating whether you are promoted or not. Keep in mind that the higher you rise in rank, the more you will have to do in order to warrant a promotion.
