Sometimes you have to do things that are difficult. You got this, I believe in you, lil sis. Ai swallowed hard, closing the door behind her. She hadn't been outside her house, let alone her room, for an extended period of time for months. If she does not count the times she was out with her brother, she has not been out alone for at least 5 months. Most of the times when she needed something she would ask her brother to help her with it. Usually when she need some supplies for her videos, her brother would get it for her. Today, however, she was out of flour and she teased a cookie video on her social media and her brother was at work. She called him to see if he could bring it to her but he told her he could not. He gave her a pep talk and now Ai was milling about in the streets.
She really does not know where the grocery store was. Every time she went with her brother, she was telling herself everything was going to be fine. Today, she was doing the same but she was walking. Every step felt like a mistake. Her mind was racing as she slowly walked on the pavement towards where she thought the store should be. "Y-y-you got t-t-t-his...one st-ep at the t-t-time." Ai muttered to herself, visibly shaking.

Baby Steps
Peno walked through the city pulling the part of her lab coat up so she wouldn’t be seen as she blushed in embarrassment and complete fear as she stood above the crowd, the tallest people having to look up at her in the crowd. Her 7’8” size making her stand out and making people part around her, as she was a celebrity as she went deeper into her lab coat.
Walking, she wasn’t really paying attention where she was going and wanted to grab some film for her camera so she could take pictures of pokemon and a charger for her Pokedex as it died recently and she’s been flipping out. She hated going out like this as this could make her more noticeable. It was hard to go out as even going at night would be dangerous due to her size since it attracts attention or would do the latter of warding off said attention.
As she wasn’t paying attention, she continued walking and was heading straight for Himura, not really paying a mind as she thinks people were still moving out of the way. She finally looked up as she was about to run over the girl and stumbled past her and crashed into the ground, groaning in pain. “So-sorry miss! I-I wasn’t paying attention to where I was going!” |

Ai was lost in her own world of trying not messing up a single step towards the grocery store. Her focus was on just getting from point a to point b. She was in the zone and when something interrupted that, the results were not the best. Looking up quickly once Ai saw the legs and the voice from an individual come into, Ai stumbled backwards. Looking around, she saw an unnaturally tall woman siting in the ground. Did I trip her?! Did I mess up? where the first thoughts that crossed Ai's mind. Looking at the woman on the ground, panic started to come across her face.
"A-are y-y-you o-okay? I-I Should h-h-have been paying attention..." Ai muttered, not sure what to do. She just wanted to buy flour and now she made someone trip. The next horror came across her face. What if she recognized her voice? It wasn't likely but what if this woman has run across her videos. Her voice wasn't as upbeat as it was for her videos but it still was the same pitch.

“O-Ow!” she said, tears forming in the corner of her eyes as she sniffled, her back and ass hurting as she had slammed into the ground and her ass hurt pretty badly. Looking up at the girl, she saw above her. She doesn’t really watch too much T.V. so she had no recognition of this person as she smiled a weak smile. “N-no. You’re fine! I wasn’t paying at-attention.”
She said this, standing up and towering over the young girl as she bowed to her, madly blushing in complete embarrassment. “I-I’m, uh, going to the store… I-if I need to pay you back for anything I-I will… And uh, stuff…” she muttered this, pulling out her Pokeball and tossing out Cipor the Snorunt who blinked and looked at Peno.
(Was up Peno? Need something- okay, what happened to you?) she asked, waddling over to the human and patting her leg and Peno smiled and looked back at the girl and asked her nervously, “U-uh, sorry… Sorry earlier, I’m an overall jittery person, m-my name is Peno a-and this is Cipor.”

"Nonono, I w-w-wasn't paying attention either. I have money for my own stuff... Ai went quiet for a few seconds, wondering what else to do. The woman seemingly did not recognize Ai's voice or chose not to say anything. Regardless, she was still concerned. What if someone in the crowd recognized her? What if someone was following her? All these scenarios that Ai was running through her head were making her go more into a rabbit hole. Looking around, Ai wanted to get off the street. She was about to go into a full panic and did not want that to happen when she was out and about.
Holding out her hand, Ai muttered "H-how about we compromise and go for coffee?" Ai muttered, paying little attention to the Pokemon. All she wanted was to get out of this place. Pointing with her other hand to a okay looking cafe, Ai try to smile. It looked kind of painful but looked fine.
