PERSONALITY
Ai has two very opposite personas that display in different realms of her life. In her private life, Ai is a very shy. She is very withdrawn and tends to hide away in her room. She suffers from severe depression. She will be able to do menial tasks but has a constant state of sorrow and not being good enough. There are days, however, where she would not get out of bed. This is mostly due to that the only person she cares for treats her with a cold shoulder. She depends on her older brother for a lot in her life and he really does not mirror the familial care Ai holds for him. She does not have friends, only really being close to her brother.
There is another persona, however, that Ai possess. Cooking is one of the few things that Ai is somewhat happy about. She enjoys making creative food items and posting them online. Online, she pretends to be this upbeat, energetic, and bubbly girl. She makes food items that are pop culture references or have to do with Pokémon. She picks Pokémon type, for example, and makes a meal based around that type. It makes Ai very happy that there is this following of her and that people enjoy what she is doing. For her, the internet version of herself, is what keeps her going. She is deathly afraid that people or her fans would find out that the girl they follow online is this lame, depressed, loner. She goes to great efforts into hiding her true self from people online. She uses a cartoon avatar online and never shows her face. The only thing that people see of her online is her voice, which is ever so slightly edited by her, and her hands.
BACKGROUND
Where to start? Oh boy. I guess let’s start from the beginning. I was born to a few days before my mother died. There were complications with my birth and my mother eventually died to whatever happened. I’ve never been told about what happened, but I’m okay with that. I rather not add something to my plate. Anyway, it didn’t matter. I still had my dad and my older brother. I wouldn’t say my childhood was bad but it wasn’t great. My dad was a doctor so he made pretty good money and we lived somewhat comfortably. My brother was a trainer prospect, I remember that from those days. Even when he was young, he was super talented. I never was that hopeful. Pokémon never appealed to me but then again, I rather just lay in bed and sleep (especially those days). But yeah, everything wasn’t that bad back in the day. Then things changed.
I was ten when my father died. He was going about his job when he suffered a stroke. It came out of nowhere. My brother and I could not believe it. Our father was a picture of health and to see him just suddenly. My brother, who was 24 at the time, took me in. He did not have a choice, at least according to him. I latched on to him, being the only one that was left to me. He is very dear to me. Not only is he my brother but also someone who protected and raised me. He sacrificed his dreams of becoming an elite trainer to take care of the both of us. No wonder he has gotten cold lately. Anyway, I took what happened very hard. I spent weeks in my room, only eating the food my brother put in front of my door. I thought I would eventually move on but I simply didn’t. It wasn’t that I hadn’t moved on from my father’s death but the fact that I just didn’t have the usual energy I had. Before my father died, I was an energetic child and now I’m just a mess. I started spending days never leaving our house, let alone my room.
My brother got tired of it, dragging me out of my room to finally eat a dinner with him in months. After some awkward silence, he told me that I had to figure something out. He hated seeing me miserable but said he was at a loss to what he should do with me. He told me I should look up some self-help stuff online. One blog I found said cooking was great therapy. I was intrigued, so I decided to try it out. After some experimenting, I actually was proud of my creation. It was some sandwich. For whatever reason, I decided to post it online. That’s how my life changed.
I became an online personality. I started posting cooking tutorials videos, started uploading pictures of my latest food creation, be it a sandwich that looks like a Pokémon or a soup that helps if your stomach was upset. I even got a Pokémon to help me with it. I was afraid, however. Afraid people found out that of who I really was. So I created a fake persona for myself online: Lunchy. Lunchy was this upbeat girl that I’m not. I loved the persona though. She is me if all of this bad stuff didn’t happen in my life. I don’t know how I can pretend to be someone totally different to me but I guess your mind can be weird. Lunchy is my therapy and I will do everything for that to continue to be so.
I know these ramblings were all over the place but these are the things I remember the most vividly. I’ll probably will be living with my brother longer than most people would. I overheard him talking to his friend about how he didn’t trust me living by myself, that he was already worried when I’m locked in my room. I’ll guess we will see what will happen.

PERSONALITY —
Lily is very much like the other persona that Ai created for herself. She always seems to be in a good mood and just generally bouncy. She, however, is always concerned for her trainer. She always is by her trainer’s side, making sure that Ai is doing well. She often helps Ai with her cooking, providing spices made from her pollen or finding ingredients for her. She wants that Ai is more like her online persona so she often tries to motivate Ai into cooking. Lily is generally very caring and would do anything for her trainer to be happy outside of just her persona.
