In place of eyebrows, he has three metal piercings aligned in a row to replace them. He also has six similar piercings going down his nose and on beneath his lip.
When it comes to clothing Ben prefers to dress in whatever is cleanest that day, he does not have a ‘style’ and almost anything will do. At the worst he’ll go shirtless for the day if none of his shirts are clean. If he were to attend a formal even he would not be against wearing a suit though he would like to make slight modifications to it so it could better fit him.
PERSONALITY
Ben can be summed up in a few words, unpredictable, neurotic, immature, mischievous, amoral and explosive. These traits are due to his brief raising on the streets of Veilstone City, with no other children to play with he had grown attached to his family heavily mainly his mother who happened to be a Pokemon breeder. His father, on the other hand, was an officer.
To his family, he's seen as overly enthusiastic and energetic, but to a stranger, he can come off as pushy and arrogant. Despite his outspoken, and strong attitude there are times when he can’t quite comprehend a dangerous situation from a casual one. Young Ben has only four main interest, Food, fighting, and a good nap and everything in between.
Corbin isn’t above cheating his way to victory, despite not being a Pokemon trainer at times he would help his brother cheat in battles by distracting the enemy trainer and even going as far as to snatch their Pokemon before the match even started. On top of that he loves to cheat in fights, as well as games like Poker, bowling, and anything else he can get away with it in.
Many other things can describe Ben one of which is his work ethic; despite his love of being lazy, back home he would work harder than anyone else in his mom’s breeding facility, though it was a small building with loads of Pokeballs he would take the time to scrub everyone with care despite not being too attached to Pokemon.
When it comes to making decisions, he is is a man of his own, bull-headed to a T, he can’t be told differently no matter what he sees or hears. While he does his best to be empathetic that’s too bad for them, because it’s his way or the highway unless there’s some good reason.
At a young age Ben was practically forced into a fascination with Pokemon; growing up on in a house full of pets he grew to like them but never truly showed the love for them that his brother had or that of his sister. He respected strong powerhouse Pokemon; rock, fighting, steel and ground types, but never paid much mind to the others as he didn’t see them as that challenging… Besides fire types. Those are probably the only Pokemon he fears.
BACKGROUND
- Bennet was born in the always beautiful Veilstone city to a family of three. The young raven-haired man grew under an older brother and two loving parents.
- As he grew up in the home of a Pokemon breeder young Ben had discovered a slight fascination with Pokemon, though rather than seeing them as allies his young, childish mind had seen them as monsters able to cause tons of damage.
- As a child there was an incident that changed the way he saw fire type Pokemon, they were furious creatures that could melt entire cities with just their breath alone. What brought this fear? a run in with a pack of Houndour after school, grade four to be exact. Bennet hadn't thought Pokemon could be so fast and had it not been for his brother he would have been roasted to a crisp in short.
- His teenage years were incredibly simple, he managed along without the desire to be a trainer when he turned ten and decided more than he wanted to study pokemon instead of catching them.
- Studying Pokemon wasn't for everyone, the young male had found that becoming a professor in a field of Pokemon was far more difficult than he intended, thus when higher learning rolled about he opted out and finally decided to become a trainer!
- Wanting to be a trainer at eighteen was..Unprecedented, apart from not knowing where the professor was for a starter Pokemon instead of looking for him Bennet used his charms to get his first Pokemon despite going through what seemed to be a permanent punk phase. He would break his dear old mother's heart, but hey so was life, she was young she'd get over it heck she had another kid!
- Instead of getting a proper starter simply put, he stole one simply put. How? Many people on their Pokemon journeys usually ran through the Veilstone Pokemon center at one point or another to rest up before facing the gym leader. Using this knowledge the hunter to be waited patiently for someone who looked just vulnerable enough to take their Pokemon.
- It took him days of leaving and returning, staying in the lobby and waiting for the perfect moment when a careless trainer would leave their things unattended, luckily for him on his third day of prowling he had found them, a young male who seemed to have just begun his journey an entire belt of fancy Pokeballs around his waist, an easy snatch though this boy seemed to have a Pikachu on his shoulder. In the least he may or may not have punched both the child and his Pikachu to obtain a Pokemon for himself.
- When the time came for Bennet to strike he struck hard, the child didn't stand a chance at the first opportunity as soon as the boy misplaced his belt on the table of the Pokemon lobby the dark-haired male would snatch it up and run like hell out of the door. He had ran for quite some time through the city not only using his legs to get himself out of the city a little over a day but he managed to get on a boat with his new pokemon.
- In all honesty, he didn't want to let the Pokemon out just yet given he had planned all of this beforehand and accounted for everything but the kid's Pokemon knowing the wiser. What's in the Pokeball is still a mystery to him.
- With a Pokemon his hip and a new region in his sights, Bennet's arrival in Stellara was rather ungraceful. For quite a while he was without work and still in hiding. He needed to eat, keep himself alive in this new region, but he couldn't challenge anyone since he was still holding a stolen Pokemon and that was when an idea came to mind: What if he sold the Pokemon? That would be easy money and that was what he did, he sold the Pokemon that happened to be a growlithe to a child for their allowance and half a sandwich. He was surprised he was carrying a fire type, but no matter, it wasn't his and he made some quick cash.
- Pokemonless again it had become apparent that Bennet could make a career out of selling and catching Pokemin instead of stealing them, heck professors and children would probably give him much more than half sandwiches for real pokemon! Thus the idea was hatched, Bennet would become a Pokemon hunter! Though this time around he would need a pokemon legit...
- Tagging onto his series of unusual events Bennet had managed to get himself a Pokemon the old fashioned way using some of his newly acquired Growlithe funds to a single Pokeball and with that he would tread into the darkest ally ways he could find to get his pokemon eventually ending up in a sewer where he would find his Pokemon...
- A Grimers! Yes, a Grimer in the underground. It was strange, smelled nasty as hell and Ben was certain he was hallucinating but after sneaking up on the Pokemon and catching it he had realized what he had done... He was a REAL POKEMON TRAINER! No... Hunter.. Pokemon hunter. "Doesn't matter are you done yet?" yes... "can't believe I caught a pile... What the hell even is this thing?"

PERSONALITY —Mud is... A Pokemon, not the Pokemon that Bennet wants by any means and he's 100% certain he will sell it soon but if it had any use to him its the fact that his stench is so strong it can repel wild pokemon, which in this line of work probably isn't a good thing. As a Pokemon mud is very loyal? It is not exactly going to dominate any battles and serves as a constant reminder of Bennet's lack of ability to properly get a Pokemon that counts, regardless for the time being this simple-minded blob will serve some purpose to the Blackmont purse until it's eventually sold off.
"Please let me sell this thing off... Anytakers?"
