Gozubura stretched out to his limit, to his tip-toes, to try and reach that damn switch. He was right there, feeling his toes begin to give in as he tried to touch it. The Shuckle in his hands was reaching up as well, straining to get to it. On the other end of the door was a ground level Grimer and an air-level Combee - they already had their buttons down, they just needed the fourth and final one pushed. He knew what he'd have to do at this point to get it to open up for them. "Alright, Juice, here goes nothing!" With that warning, he chucked the bug up at the top of the door frame. Reaching out, Shuckle managed to push in the button as Gozubura pushed in his as well; with all four hit at that cue, the door finally cracked and revealed a way inside. With a final bit of relief - and the clapping of some of the local arcade junkies behind him catching this free show - he recalled all of the Pokemon and walked on in. This part of the building was definitely more notable and his style; a Pokemon battle field, even if it had all kinds of stuff decorating the field in his way. He took it all in for a second before taking in a deep breath and calling out loudly, cupping his hands around his mouth. "Hey! Any gym leader in here? I wanna kick your butt! Come on oooooooout!"

As Gozubura's voice echoed throughout the large battle atrium the lights suddenly blinked off without warning. Just as suddenly a spinning ball of electricity appeared at the center of the field and shot out in a grand circle along the edge of the packed earth, gaining speed as it neared the boy only to suddenly change direction and fly off into the grid of columns. There it bounced off each column like a ping-pong ball before suddenly stopping at the opposite end of the battle field. With a Pokemon's cry the electric ball ceased and the lights came back to life as if waiting for that single moment. Where the ball had been now stood a Togedemaru and a man with fiery red hair, both wearing the same friendly smile.
"Welcome challenger!" Rhett gave a small yet showy bow in greeting before clasping his hands behind his head in a rather relaxed and at ease position. "I like your spirit, and congrats on your teamwork to open the door. It was quite refreshing to watch." He grinned and the Togedemaru jumped up and down in agreement sending sparks into the air in its excitement.
"My name is Rhett Star, and I am the acting Gym Leader of the Cyngi City Gym. Here we decide a challenger's worth via a double-battle consisting of teams of three Pokemon each. No consumable items are allowed and the challenger alone is allowed to substitute Pokemon during the battle. The winner is determined when one side either runs out of Pokemon or forfeits. Your team-work and ties will be tested, do you think you are ready for this?"
