Zhee turned the Pokeball over in her hand again, nervously fidgeting with it. There was a bit of turmoil rolling through the trainer. She hadn't had this Pokemon for very long and was already looking to pass it off, but that's only because of Mira's advertisement seeking certain Pokemon in exchange for others. The Pokemon she had just received, Marley the Lileep, would take a lot of time and patience to become a great battler. It wasn't like Zhee didn't have the time for the seemingly mute airheaded Pokemon, but what Mira was advertising in exchange was too good to pass up.
The blonde took a deep breath and cleared her throat, shaking away her anxiety before entering the establishment. Zhee walked in calmly, Pokeball in hand. "Hello, my name is Zhee. I saw your ad seeking a Lileep in exchange for an Ivysaur? He is a great Pokemon, but Ivysaur's Poison typing is my specialty."
Marley the Lileep lv. 4 | male | Suction Cups Astonish | Constrict Lileep is a happy-go-lucky Pokemon without much of a care in the world. A complete air head, Lileep is often distracted by a random thought floating through his head or the sight of something. You can always tell when Lileep has stopped listening, as he begins to sway slowly to a fro. He enjoys the little things, like the pretty colors of a flower or a lovely smell on the breeze. While he often thinks to himself, most find that Lileep doesn't have much to say to the point where some might think he's mute. Truly the Lileep doesn't have much to say and would rather go with the flow than voice his opinion. Lileep does not really enjoy battling, he doesn't like violence and will even become distracted in the middle of a battle. It will take a very patient trainer to turn this Lileep into anything battle worthy.

LOOKING FOR A RIPE OPPORTUNITY At the moment it was not Mira that was manning the counter but a rather young looking intern. Like the girl in front of him, he too was a bit of a fidgety mess. Okay, maybe even more than her; he was a wreck and he knew it but he wasn't going to let that show. He had only been in the job for a couple of days and the whole experience was rather...nerve-wracking for him. It sucked, in other words. Sure every now and then good trades would come along, but most of the time he made a lot of cuts here and there because he couldn't resist the power of the puppy dog eyes and ack--he could only wince at the memory of Mira chewing him out yesterday. He could still recall how loud she shouted when she found out that he had let one of their more prized Pokemon pass for a Dunsparse...yikes. The intern let out a shaky sigh as he rehearsed through the motions. Okay, he wasn't going to mess this up he wasn't going to mess this up -- "Hi, yes, uhm, may I see your Lileep?" he pushed on his glasses; a nervous gesture of his. He took the Poke Ball and prayed to Arceus that the girl did not notice his sweaty palms and gently deposited it on a scanner on the same counter. Fidgeting with his glasses again, he blinked a few times, looking rather stunned. "Miss, am I reading this right? Your Lileep is...very inexperienced." if anything, the Pokemon was pretty much baby-level. Sure, Lileep is a fossil Pokemon, but honestly rare Pokemon are not so rare when one was running one of the largest trading businesses in the region. He recalled it being drilled into his head that experience was a much more valuable trait. He continued to fidget. "I'm sorry, I really don't want to get smacked silly again, I'd have to reject this. We can take this Lileep if it's at a much closer level to our Ivysaur." he said with a frown while returning the Poke Ball back to Zhee. Oh no, he felt bad, so he tried to do a bow but stupidly did it too low and smacked his face on the counter. Thankfully his glasses had slid off before that happened, otherwise he would've had to pay for it. "Ow." he was trying to play it cool but he had tears in his eyes. Now what? Oh right, the final greeting, "P-please come back again!" probably too loud but he already made a mess of this to start with, so he silently hoped that she'd just go without a fuss and let him fix himself for the next customer. sorry, smol bean, but it's not gonna fly ✖ Zhee

The young man before her answered, and extended his hand after requesting the Pokeball. The blonde woman watched him replace his glasses even though they were not low on his face, and she took note that his upturned hand glistened is sweat. Hmm, interesting.. Was it her that was making him nervous or was that simply his nature. Zhee decided that even if she didn't get a Pokemon she wanted at Mira's she might at least be able to mess with this dude.
Zhee moved the Pokeball to his hand and lingered for a moment, as if having second thoughts, but she soon removed her hand and allowed him to scan the capsule. The man helping her stared at the screen in disbelief, commenting on Marley's experience. He continued to explain that he would have to reject the trade since the Lileep came nowhere near the level of an Ivysaur, which made sense, however Zhee never saw anything in the ad about what level it should be. Rather than be annoyed, Zhee cracked a nervous smile and rubbed the back of her head. "Oh, ha, that does make sense, huh? Silly me, I should have known better. A dumb blonde moment..." While Zhee was trying to appear cute, the attendant gave her a polite bow.
Or.. at least tried to..
Bowing too deeply, there was a painfully loud thud as he cracked his head against the counter. Zhee clenched her jaw, shaking away the urge to grin to stay "in character". "Oh my goodness, are you ok!?" The blond leaned on the counter, closer to the young man's face as if to inspect his wound. Really it was just to see if she could possibly get him more flustered. "That'll be a nice bruise." She chuckled slightly in an attempt to get him to laugh it off, maintaining eye contact as best she could with him avoiding it.
"Oh, uhm, s-since I can't get the Ivysaur, could I possibly have an appraisal instead?" She asked meekly, stammering a bit to sound nervous. "Or.. I could ask someone else while you.. maybe get some ice?" Zhee offered a small smile. "I'm sorry you got hurt because of me.. You were only trying to be polite.." She shyly muttered, beginning to twirl a piece of hair around her finger.

LOOKING FOR A RIPE OPPORTUNITY "N-no, I'm not okay." he whimpered while biting his lip, but quickly tried to take that back, "I mean, yes--eek!" he yelped when she moved a bit too close for comfort, so in response he took a step back and tried to get his bearings. He pretty much played to her trap as he did indeed try to laugh it off. "I know, I know, I'll attend to it later." he said as an attempt to shrug it off. Then again, he just realized that it would terrible to the following customers if he had a big bump on his head. The intern sighed before searching in his head the words he needed to respond. "A-ah, yes of course! An appraisal is fine..." oh Arceus, he must've sounded super stupid and rude to try to push her out of the shop. Usually people would storm out after hearing their trade request being rejected, so he supposed he jumped the gun. Fidgeting with his glasses, he pulled up the data he got from the Lileep and used the system to generate possible trades. It only took a few seconds, and when that was done, the screen facing Zhee lit up with three Pokemon she could choose from.
