QUESTS
OVERVIEW
Team Crux missions are now active, and they follow the same system as regular quests. However, they are only accessible by Team Crux members, and they offer increased gains. Team Crux missions also serves as a guideline for when people want to apply for promotions. Like quests, missions are ranked on a scale between one DR (1◆ or difficulty ranking) and five DR (5◆) with one DR missions being the easiest and five DR missions being the absolute hardest. DR also determines how dangerous the mission is; the higher the DR, the more likely that a a Team Crux and his or her Pokemon are to be harmed, arrested, etc. However, the more difficult and dangerous missions also offer greater rewards since there is greater risk involved. Six DR missions exist, but they toss Team Crux members into near impossible challenges to complete. While five DR missions are already considered nightmares, six DR missions make five DR missions look incredibly safe and bearable by comparison.
When you wish to take a mission, simply post in this thread dictating which mission you want to take. Missions count towards the quest limit, meaning you can only be in either two missions and/or quests at a time. Whenever you finish a mission, staff will give you your rewards in the mission thread itself. Be mindful of any and all restrictions a mission might have. Missions that are three stars and below can be RP’d out by members among themselves. Missions that are four stars and above MUST be GM’d by staff members.
Missions are able to be soloed; for missions that are RP’d out by members, there are not any set post or word requirements. However, know that the harder the quest, the more it will take to complete it. If staff feels you need to provide more story to a quest you complete, they will let you know. For lower-ranked solo missions, there are word requirements: 1 DR missions must be at least 1000 words long; 2 DR missions must be at least 1500 words long, and 3 DR missions must be at least 2000 words.
You are allowed to create your missions. If you wish to make one, fill out the template below and post the quests here. If staff accepts them, they will be added to the list of missions that you are able to take.
There is now a LIMIT to the amount of missions you can do. You can start a quest ONCE a week, and you can only be in a maximum of two missions at a time. When you finish a missions, you must wait a week from the day the quest is complete before you can do another one. While solo missions are allowed, please try to keep them to a minimum. If we see people continuously spamming solo missions, we will be forced to institute a hard limit on solo quests, and we really don't want to do that.
