After running for hours from Tean Crux, Alex and Plasma arrive in Shaula Town. Collapsing just inside the gate, Alex lays in the dirt a moment catching his breath.
what have I done? Was I crazy? The Morph Movement? I only know three morphs aside from myself. One is in Kanto. The other god knows where and Plasma cant control his abilities yet Alex thinks to himself.
Realizing he was now in a city instead of being in the woods, Alex smiles upon seeing the familiar face of Dracul smiling at him from a billboard sign.
"Plasma, we arrived in Shaula Town. A friend of mine lives here. After we visit the Pokemon Center, we can seek him out. He owes me a Gym Battle anyways." Alex says, smiling at the thought of battling against Dracul's Dragons.
A loud pop is heard as Lu escapes his Pokeball.
(How dare you confine me to that prison, Alex Ruler. You know I hate that thing,) Lu says.
"It was for your safety. That Growlithe was raring to tear someone limb from limb. I had to do it," Alex says, climbing to his feet. "Plasma, come on. While Nurse Joy heals our Pokemon, we can speak with Officer Jenny," Alex says.
(I am not going into a Pokeball) Lu says, leaping to Alex's shoulder, (This is my right spot)
"Until you evolve," Alex says, "Then you either walk or you go into the Pokeball,"

"Whoa, your strong enough to battle gyms. They sound very hard, especially a dragon type...I think I'll just watch you," Plasma looks in awe at Alex.
"Also I'm so sorry for being weak; I know I have said this multiple times but I promise you I will get stronger and do my best help you," Plasma clenches his fists.
"I feel really weird; my heart feels as though there is a hole trying to be filled but nothing is going in," Plasma put his hand over where his heart is. Tears started to fall from his eyes. "I don't know why I'm crying, I feel so empty and alone." Plasma wiped his tears from his eyes.
"I think I'll sit right here for a little bit," Plasma sat down in a corner. "I'll join up with you soon, I...just need some time alone, please" tears are still falling from Plasma's eyes.

Alex inhales sharply but exhales slowly.
"Plasma," he says, sounding like an older brother who just saved his younger brother from bullies, "dont be so hard on yourself. We survived our first run in with Team Crux. We made it to Shaula Town. Now lets go heal our partners and find Officer Jenny. We can rest at the Pokemon Center," Alex says extending his hand.
(You were not weak back there. You displayed amazing potential. And together, Plasma, we will tap into it and bring it to the surface, under your control. Alex worked long and hard witb his dad for a few years to be able to conjure up that Bone Club on a whim. When he first started, he could only summon it during moments of extreme stress,) Lu explains, (I have learned that like Pokemon, even the most fragile of humans can become stronger than most would believe possible)
Alex smiles at his partner.
"And you helped Max be brave enough to battle alongside Lu. That was amazing. He needs to be healed, so come on pal," Alex says

Plasma is in the corner crying because unlike Alex he can't understand Lu. "I guess so but it hurts so much but I don't know why. I just want it to stop hurting, but your right." Plasma begins to stand up and walks over to Alex.
"Yeah ok, lets go see Nurse Joy." Plasma says with tears still running down your face.
"So after this gym what next, are you gonna go to another gym... It must be hard knowing that your pokemon could get badly injured right?" Plasma asked Alex.
"I might do the gym to so I try to get stronger. I don't wanna drag you down." Plasma clenches his fist, "I have to do this, I feel the farther I go the better of a chance to meet my family. That's all I want, that's my only goal, and together with Max I know I can do it."

"Plasma, Together we are going to unravel your mystery, grow stronger, and become a thorn in the side of Team Crux," Alex says laughing.
He leads the way to the Pokemon Center, with Lu tagging along on his shoulder. A strange man approaches, holding out a picture of Alex.
"Excuse me. Are you Alex Ruler? I have a package for you from Kanto from a Carson and Lita Ruler," the man says.
"My parents?" Alex asks, taking the package. "Its a Pokeball" he says opening it to reveal the orb inside. One of his Dad's custom Hyperballs with a flame etched into the metal.
(There is a note) Lu says.
"'Son our trip is taking longer than expected. Your mother captured this pokemon and wanted to send it to you. Hope you raise Rex well,'" Alex reads.
(It is a fire type,) Lu says, pointing to the flame. (Curious. Mom and Dad sending you a Pokemon?)
Alex smirks and clips the ball on his belt.
"After Nurse Joy heals the others, we can introduce Rex to them. Come on, Plasma we have things to do," Alex smiles, thanking the gentlemen and heading towards the Pokemon Center front desk. "Nurse Joy. Can you heal my Partners please?" Alex asks, laying Tai, Rita, and Rex's Pokeballs on the counter and smiling. "Lu doesnt like Pokeballs so can you heal him too?"

"Your parents sent you a Pokemon from that far away, they must love you a lot." Plasma says while thinking about what his parents must be like.
Plasma silently follows Alex to the Pokemon Center. "Um excuse me but can you heal Max," Plasma asks Placing the Pokeball on the counter.
Plasma turns to Alex looking at the new Pokeball, "Do you think my parents love me like yours love you? Your parents sent you a Pokemon from far away, while I haven't heard anything about my parents looking for me. Maybe they don't want me anymore, maybe they have a new child, maybe they don't remember me;" Plasma continues rambling.
Plasma realizes he was just rambling a lot, "Oh I'm sorry, now I'm annoying you... I... um... I just want my family just like you. I don't mean to be rude to you, Its not your fault this all happened to me."
Plasma grows silent again waiting for Max to be done healing.

Alex chuckles lightly.
"Who said you were annoying me?" Alex asks, "My friend, your family is probably worried sick about you. Which reminds me. Nurse Joy, can you phone Officer Jenny for me please?"
The nurse smiles, leaving to make the call.
"Plasma, I see great potential in you. You displayed a sample of the power back in the forest." Alex explains, "the biggest thing to remember is to never give up on yourself. No matter how bleak the situation seems, always believe in yourself."
Alex, Lu, and Plasma sit at a nearby table and await Officer Jenny.

"Your right I do have this power, however this isn't my own power. I didn't work to get this, I didn't even earn this, I was given this because I was weak and easy to take. I was given a name, a power, a pokemon, a home, a new life... I earned none of these and some off these I never wanted. I can't even control this power fully. "
Plasma looks down,"Do you have any idea how hard it to always live looking behind you because your alone and afraid. Its not easy at all, it makes me wonder why Team Crux took a useless child like me."
Tears start to form, "Im sure there is plenty of useful children out there. I feel like they got played by me, expecting a new grunt when all they really got is this useless child. I wouldn't be trying so hard if it wasn't for Max, just cause I have no future doesn't mean I should leave him alone. It wouldn't be right."
