NAME — Fran
LEVEL — 7
SPECIES — (Fan) Rotom
TYPE — Electric/Flying
EGG GROUP — Amorphous
ABILITY — Levitate
HELD ITEM — None
GENDER — Genderless (they/them or it/its)
HEIGHT — 1’00/0.2 m
WEIGHT — 0.5 lbs/0.2 kg
MOVE LIST —
Air Slash, Astonish, Trick, Charge, Confuse Ray, Discharge
PERSONALITY —
The origin of Fran’s given name was from two things in particular: one, they were a fan. Two, Fran was quite frantic, simply put. Before their encounter with Fen and Maris, they were much more mischievous, freely taking pleasure in pranking any wandering Pokemon and trainers who stepped into the Old Chateau. They believed they were as bold and tricky as can be, before discovering via their meeting with Maris that their devilish veneer easily fell flat when caught off guard. Fran’s bold, cheeky attitude is prone to fall apart due to being easily startled and quite anxious after being surprised. All bark and scarce bite, as both Fran and Maris discovered for themselves. They care greatly of their pride and the confident facade they so desperately wish to keep, but unfortunately, Fran is very finicky and faint-hearted without the proper motivation and assurance. Luckily for them, Maris is very ready to give it.
NAME — Bud
LEVEL — 5
SPECIES — Fomantic
TYPE — Grass
EGG GROUP — Grass
ABILITY — Leaf Guard
HELD ITEM — None
GENDER — Male
HEIGHT — 1’00/0.2 m
WEIGHT — 3.3 lbs/1.5 kg
MOVE LIST —
Fury Cutter, Leafage
PERSONALITY —
This Fomantis is something of a loner. They prefer to keep to themselves, mainly from disinterest in others. This actually makes him very easy to get along with, in a sense. Fomantis often goes with the flow of things and is not inherently argumentative or stubborn in anyway. In fact,
it might actually be described as a weak willed individual, or even sheepish. In that sense, Fomantis is especially malleable as a Pokemon.
A firm handed trainer could quite easily convince Fomantis to do anything, but will also find that- in the heat of battle- this Pokemon's will might fail. However, this Pokemon has a lot of room to grow and is very open minded!
NAME — "Lio"
LEVEL — 4
SPECIES — Helioptile
TYPE — Electric/Normal
EGG GROUP(s) — Monster/Dragon
ABILITY — Dry Skin
HELD ITEM — None
GENDER — Female
HEIGHT — 1’03"/0.38 m
WEIGHT — 12.5 lbs/5.5 kg
MOVE LIST —
Pound, Tail Whip
PERSONALITY —
This Helioptile is volatile, point blank and period. Fiercely territorial, she is leery around other beings, Pokemon and people alike, unafraid to show aggression to anything she sees even as a slight threat (read: anything bigger than her) try and come close to her. Extremely self-concerned, she fervently cares about her own well-being to the point of having a near-complete lack of empathy for anything around it except itself, willing to do anything if it means escaping as unscathed as possible. This aggressive attitude is mostly a result of trying to mask her deep-rooted fear of having everything taken away from her from the "cruel world", as she'd put it, and finding the only solution being to make up for it with selfishness. With that, she's very protective and loyal to whoever gains her complete and open trust. However, her treatment could either be interpreted as overbearing and bossy by others, or superficial, as it coincides with her self-absorbed attitude in the sort of "I protect you only since it in turn protects me" way. Regardless, her extended protection will not be in vain...for those who earn it.
NAME — Sergeant
LEVEL — 8
SPECIES — Venipede
TYPE — Bug/Poison
EGG GROUP — Bug
ABILITY — Poison Point
HELD ITEM — None
GENDER — Male
HEIGHT — 1’04"/0.5 m
WEIGHT — 11.7 lbs/5.3 kg
MOVE LIST —
Defense Curl, Rollout, Poison Sting, Screech
PERSONALITY —
A big brother figure through and through, he considers himself to be that of a leader. Wait, scratch that--he considers himself to be that of a commander. A verbal tic of his that's easily noted is calling any of his allies "private", or "buddy" if they were to be closer. As a Pokemon that speaks and acts straight out of a corny war movie, Sergeant is strict and spirited, especially in his speeches, and despite how loudly he may scream at them, he deeply cares about the well-beings of his allies. Even when commanding allies to perform a dangerous task for the sake of a mission, he'll swear that he'll come get them should anything happen--and avenge them if something does. He never readily admits defeat and would rather die than retreat on a battle, often determined to put every ounce of his energy into his leading and especially battling before conceding to the enemy. As a result, he can be very obstinate in his decisions and about keeping his pride. Should the time come however, Sergeant accepts loss honorably and kicks any bitter resentment to the curb (that's not to say it doesn't sting, however--it very much does for this bug Pokemon).
NAME — Ishtar (ooc-ly, ic-ly called "trisha" by maris)
LEVEL — 6
SPECIES — Purrloin
TYPE — Dark
EGG GROUP — Field
ABILITY — Limber
HELD ITEM — None
GENDER — Female
HEIGHT — 1’02"/0.35 m
WEIGHT — 22 lbs/10 kg
MOVE LIST —
Scratch, Growl, Assist
PERSONALITY —
Trisha--oh, sorry--Ishtar likes to think of herself highly. In fact, she has a habit of thinking herself to be much higher than she really is. Not like she wants you to know, that is. This conceited Purrlion favors herself a trickster--one of irresistible charm (hence her self-appointed nickname), sharp wit, and cunning. One could say this holds truth...to an extent. She stays true to the sly nature of her species in terms of using her appearance to throw others off guard and get what she wants, and she's a natural liar. Unfortunately, her theatrical and melodramatic persona clashing with her extra cuddly exterior from her excessive self-grooming frequently ends up with her barely being taken seriously. This of course annoys Ishtar to no end, and anyone who points it out will be subject to a high-pitched rant. Her showiness doesn't exactly do her any favors either, as she favors attention, aesthetics, and above all, theatrics over efficiency, and her frequent self-narration tends to give herself away at inconvenient times. At the end of the day, she at least knows how to use her looks well to her advantage. Even a broken clock is right two times a day, after all.
NAME — "Nat"
LEVEL — 8
SPECIES — Natu
TYPE — Psychic/Flying
EGG GROUP(s) — Flying
ABILITY — Synchronize
HELD ITEM — None
GENDER — Male
HEIGHT — 0’05"/0.12 m
WEIGHT — 4.4 lbs/2.0 kg
MOVE LIST —
Leer, Peck, Nightshade
PERSONALITY —
This Natu is an unusually quiet Pokemon. It prefers to verbalize as little as possible and prefers just to stare and blink at others, watching them, analyzing them. It does things very slowly. . . except when someone isn't watching it. When no eyes are on it, this Natu has a habit of getting up close to others or behind them and staring at them incredibly closely. It does not make friends nor does it make enemies; instead, this Natu is perfectly socially neutral. Notably, it also sleeps very little and eats very little, preferring to simply stand by idly. Maybe it does all these things when no one is watching?
