WITH EVERY BROKEN BONE, I SWEAR I LIVED
While the hot springs here were sure great, Lou didn't want to leave the place until he caught himself a new member for the team--preferably a water type to complete his grass/fire/water coverage. Though, he still remembered his promise to Daisy that she would have to leave eventually, but until then he wasn't going to look for another Pokemon to replace her.
Well rested and refreshed from the hot springs, Lou allowed his team of four to wander with him outside of their Poke balls. After all, in the outskirts of town, there were a lot less people around and more space for them to frolic. Nugget was starting to show a bit more courage and followed the two more curious and eager Pokemon in his team, Daisy and Hemlock. Al, as usual, hung by Lou's side, feeling too old for all of this. "(Suddenly I feel I can understand human elders with their grandchildren.)" he commented.
"Am I going to have to start calling you Grandpa Al now?" Lou asked with a chuckle.
"(No thanks. Only I can recognise how old I'm getting. You're pretty old too, you know.)"
"Haha, I know. We've been together for so long that it must be weird for you to see me grow up while you still look the same."
"(Hey, I think we found something!)" Daisy called far ahead of them. The three Pokemon (with Nugget already thinking of running back to Lou) were surrounding a small pool that seemed to have formed after a geyser became dormant and got eroded down into a shell-shaped thing.
"What is it?"
