A cool breeze made its way through the flatlands upon the early morning, blowing upon the grass and flowers. Magnus brought an arm up to his face, a futile attempt to shield his face from the cool morning air. Looking at his surroundings, he was unable to do anything but sigh. He had heard rumors of Breshno Flatlands' beauties. How wouldn't miles of grass, flowers and various other wild Pokemon be seen as beautiful? While it did look pretty, the cloudy skies had put a damper upon the atmosphere the flatlands had, instead of imposing a more dreary setting. Disappointing indeed, but Magnus did his best to make the best out of this situation.
Feeling adventurous, the young man decided to stray from the dirt path that would wind its way through the entire biome. Carefully watching his feet so that he would not accidentally step on any flowers, Magnus navigated through the natural maze as he continued down the flatlands. While he had hoped that the sky would clear the more he traveled, to his dismay it continued to stay is dreary gray. Shaking his head, he continued onwards. However, it wasn't long before he felt something shaking his belt. His hands immediately reached down to grab the shaking Pokeball and toss it upwards before a trapinch appeared right beside him as she began to bounce, making several cries. "Hey there girl, you want to travel outside your Pokeball for a bit?" The two made eye contact for a brief moment as Magnus shared his Pokemon's excitement. With a smile, the two continued down the fields of grass and flowers, watching the plants move in the chilly breeze and as wild Pokemon frolicked in the distance. TAGS: None so far
OOC NOTES: I would like to find a Fairy-type if possible~

NEW FRIENDS IN UNEXPECTED PLACES
Continuing their stroll through the grass, Magnus and Lily continued to spot Pokemon playing in the fields. While most seemed to keep it to themselves, the group spotted a snubbull a short distance away. The two were unsure of what it was doing before it spotted them and began to charge towards the two. He didn't know what it had wanted, nor if it had friendly or hostile intentions. But one thing he was sure about was that he didn't think he wanted to stay around and check. Exchanging one single glance with his own Pokemon. The two began to make a bolt, trying to run away from the charging snubbull. Magnus was too scared to turn back, but he had heard some commotion in the background and a cry of an unfamiliar Pokemon. After about a minute of sprinting, Magnus finally decided to take this opportunity to breathe. He allowed himself to take several deep breaths before looking around.
The snubbul seemed to be gone but so did Lily. Immediately he began to call out for his Pokemon and to his relief, he heard a cry along with the trapinch trying to jump as high as she could in the distance. "There you are. What happened?" Lily replied, explaining what had happened quickly. (The snubbul kept chasing me and I was ready to fight back against it but then a larger Pokemon came and called its name and it stopped chasing me. That was pretty fun though, wish I could have fought it.) Her trainer merely shook his head. "I'm just glad you're okay. Let's continue our stroll." With their broken peace now mended, the two continued to walk down the hillsides as they were now more alert for any possible threat that would head their way.

OOC NOTES: After thinking about it, I've decided to PASS the snubull.

Absorb/Fairy Wind/GrowthCottonee is a deceitful little bastard. While the Cottonee and Whimiscott evolutionary line are known for being notorious pranksters, Cottonee takes it to an extreme. It’s hard to know whether or not Cottonee is telling the truth or lying since it purposefully tries to be as misleading and tricky as possible. This can make interacting with Cottonee exceedingly annoying. Cottonee is also a strict Pokemon who believes in rules and that they must be upheld at any cost. Conveniently, Cottonee is exempt from rules whenever he sees fit. Not everything about Cottonee is bad; he’s at least a steadfast Pokemon, resolute and firm in what he believes. He also truly cares for those he sees as friends and family; it’s just hard for him to show it. Magnus Glass |
