Lou likes to put on a friendly face -- he'll interact with anyone, seeing that connections are a must on an entirely new region. To be kind has a much better payout than to be rude is his way of thinking, but he doesn't let that show of course. Perhaps in time someone might actually break through that system of usefulness and prove to be someone he cares about. It's not impossible, definitely, since it has happened before, but it is somewhat few and far between. You'll have to forgive him if he forgets your name, and it's common for him to remark that you might be similar to someone he had already met.
RIVALS
Enemies is such a strong word. Lou doesn't put on a charade to make enemies; what's the use in that? However, he has made some mistakes in the past, which has led people to see him as a traitor. He tries not to think about them--either way, they're far away now and they would not bother him here. Rivals, while something that Lou doesn't really want to get involved in, also have their benefits, and perhaps he might be nudged to be more competitive with them around.
LOVES
If opportunity knocks, Lou is not shy to tease, especially with those he is familiar with. Despite his carefree looks, he does daydream about real romance from time to time, wondering how it's like not always to wander and stick around with someone special. It will definitely take time to come to terms with these feelings if he ever gets them, but he is not discriminate to gender. There is, after all, something fascinating in every single person, and it would be wasteful to limit his options.
