    A naturally small girl from an equally short family, Evangeline is nothing to marvel at. Standing at a massive 4'8", the short girl has always struggled to make her presence known among other trainers and her peers. She generally wears light skirts and has a wide grin. Her attire is generally a light colored T-shirt with a skirt, Her most rugged piece of equipment is her heavy purse, a reinforced bag that hangs around one shoulder and rests on her hip.


    Evangeline Cross lived a life driven by her dreams; from a young age, her gaze lay on the sky and the world surrounding her. She was always motivated and loved the wilderness, with a courage to match. It wasn't until a terrible incident when she was 8 that her goal of becoming Champion changed. More reserved, the girl tends to be careful and calculating. She'd rather have a group of close, intimate friends than a bunch of everyday friends Her gaze is still on the world around her, where she seeks to learn everything she can from all she can. Her taste in Pokemon was shaped by the same incident that changed her dreams, remaining on the Normal type. She'd much rather help her companions and ensure a safe victory, than risk it all in a gamble. Evangeline is able to hide a secret, in regards to her studies and her choice of companions. Her ability to hide even stretches to her attitude when confronting possible enemies and opponents. Her ties to Team Crux are one of her most tightly-held secrets; revealing this would only come after a complete defeat and facing an inevitable end otherwise,

    The Cross family stays close to their home, spreading their business to their farm and the other families surrounding it. Evangeline from a young age had the dream of one day becoming the Champion; her mother encouraged it, but dismissed it easily as just a child's dream. One day, exploring further from the family's farm than usual, the girl fell down a ravine and became stuck. Her cries weren't enough to reach the search parties, and the girl was too weak in a few short days to move. Almost losing the hope for survival, a single, small Pokemon changed the girl's life. A short Munchlax waddled into the ravine, before helping the girl out into the open. It brought her to water and fed her berries it pulled from its fur; whether out of compassion or confusion, the girl didn't know. What she did know was that the bitter, overly-ripe berries were some of the tastiest food she had ever had. She managed to limp her way out of the forest with the Munchlax, who became her friend. She made it home to a crying family, who openly embraced the gluttonous Pokemon as family for saving their daughter. She began studying Pokemon, namely the type she'd been saved by. Her studies became even more focused, as the girl extended her research to encompass even more types of Pokemon. Soon, she had learned all her local library and school had to offer, so she started working under a newcomer to their village, a mysterious Researcher as an excuse to see and experience more Pokemon. Finally, at the age of 15, with her companion Tubby, Evangeline set out to explore the rest of the world, with her family's blessing and a recommendation from the Researcher for future 'employment'.

PERSONALITY — Tubby has always been a relaxed, but confused, Pokemon. Always wandering if not focused on food, the tiny Munchlax is always looking for more food or friends to interact with. It was a stroke of luck the tiny Pokemon ran into Evangeline in the ravine, as she was searching for more food. It managed to drag the tiny girl to a stream since it looked thirsty and hungry. Always compassionate, the tiny Pokemon would rather relax and eat than battle, unless harmed. Then it will fiercely rebuke its opponent with a lick or punch. Then it will go back to its search for snacks and sleep.
