PERSONALITY — Mei-Long's newest, and most eager student. As with most fighting type Pokemon, she possesses an admirable work ethic and a desire for self-betterment that far eclipses what most humans could ever hope. She's rather excitable and eager for a Meditite however, and as such, has an even harder time than most with one of the most fundamental parts of her training: Meditation. Because of this, Mei-Long has taken special steps towards training her, taking her along for her occasional journey outside of Shaula and often dropping serving as her 'trainer' in order to arrange for impromptu sparring sessions for her sake. She's a nice, if a little self centered pokemon, having her own growth and advancement as priority over most anything else, and greatly respects Mei-Long. |

PERSONALITYThis wild, young mare was bred for hard field work, but was born to race. Far too large to be contained, she escaped the place of her birth and galloped across the open fields of Stellara wildly, leaving a trail fire and trampled earth in her path. Wild Spirited and free, she's indomitable and refuses to be captured, staring down trainers and hunters alike should they ever try to put around her, let alone the glorified collar that is a pokeball. Unfortunately, she's large, far too large for a Ponyta, and so requires either large meals or extremely nutritious ones to keep up her physique and free spirited ways. Though the large plains of Stellara contained much pasture for her to gather nourishment from, it was hardly what she required. Soon, she grew weak and feeble, her particular needs not met in the plains she so loved. Enter Mei-Long Freeman and her husband, Dave Freeman, Master Martial Artist and Chef pair making their way to the Vega City Gala. They found her body, laid on the plains, almost skelletal for a pokemon her size, in dire need for food. The Gala could wait; this required her husband's full attention. However, despite their clear intent to help, Ponyta was distrustful, not wanting to survive at the cost of her own freedom. It appeared to be a lost cause; that is, until Mei-Long kneeled in front of the young mare, and closed her eyes. A promise was made, and a meal was prepared. Yet, by the time Mei-Long and her husband made their way out of the plains, Ponyta followed close behind them, still feeble but on the way to recovery. Ponyta is a free spirit, and cares little for battle or ranch work, two of the very few options a pokemon like her is usually given. She does, however, adore racing, with anything and anyone, and has the very grand, very nearly impossible goal of becoming the fastest pokemon to ever live. Though she does not consider herself anyone's pokemon, she does like Mei-Long and her husband, possibly because they had no reason to save her, but did so anyways. Though she won't battle for the sake of battling, she may do so to protect Mei, or to help her achieve a goal. Because of this, Mei-Long is willing to help Ponyta achieve her dream, willing to take her and sign her up for Pokemon races and rallies. |

NAME — Shroomish LEVEL — 4 SPECIES — Shroomish. TYPE — Poison/Grass. EGG GROUP — Field. ABILITY — Poison Heal. HELD ITEM — None. GENDER — Male. HEIGHT — 1′4″ (0.41m) WEIGHT — 9.9 lbs (4.5 kg) MOVE LIST — PERSONALITYA strange kind of student, though one that Mei-Long has already educated before. The lack of arms and the short, stubby legs impede teaching the small pokemon any true technique, but does not stop her from giving it the fitness training required for it to reach it's evolution. Shroomish is extremely strong willed and stubborn, not to mention reckless, having walked miles upon miles from the place of his birth to Shaula just because he had heard a master was willing to teach any pokemon truly seeking self improvement there. He is very ambitious and has high aspirations and expectations for himself; he does not dream of simple strength, but of more lofty goals; he desires to compete in the Pokemon Boxing Ring and become a World Champion. He's hot-blooded and very passionate about his goals, and is highly supportive to those with imposing goals as well, often encouraging them spiritedly to put their everything into it. Competition and good Sportsmanship are a must for him, and a good way to make him lose his temper is to resort to cheating and foul play. What is considered good sportmanship depends entirely on the rules of the competition, be it pokemon battling, boxing or a simple sport. He detests his lack of arms and stubby legs, finding them to be completely useless and not at all what a star boxer needs. For this reason, he wants to evolve as quickly as possible. Mei-Long adores Shroomish's spirit and hard working attitude, and does her best to deliver as his teacher. |

HEIGHT — 1′4″ (0.41m) WEIGHT — 14.3 lbs (6.5 kg) MOVE LIST — PERSONALITYSwinub has behavior typical of its species. It uses its fantastic sense of smell to try and find anything edible. When it does, it disregards everything around it until it is either finished eating or if someone or something forces it out of its food-driven craze. When it’s not trying to eat something, Swinub likes to lounge about and relax. It moves at its own pace and doesn’t like being rushed. When it gets annoyed, it becomes belligerent and uncooperative. It particularly loves hot springs, and it will often ask its trainer to take it to Elysia Falls, its favorite hot springs location. |
