HELD ITEM — YN/A
GENDER — Male

Reversal (egg move)
PERSONALITY —
+ Loyal; calm; adaptive; easygoing; clever; focused
- Shy; gullible; emotional; sensitive; greedy
Ember does not have much in common with his trainer. He is shy and tends to let Forrest do the talking and showboating while he hides on or near Forrest. It's not uncommon for Forrest to get worried and call out to Ember, only to discover that his little Cyndaquil is right at his feet, as this Pokemon rarely makes a sound, and though rationally, Forrest knows that Ember is always by his trainer's side (he's loyal), he can't help but get anxious when it comes to his best friend.
Unlike Forrest, Ember is calm and doesn't have the constant urge to be on the move; however, like his owner, he is adaptive. This helps out quite a bit in battle when Forrest calls for a change of strategy. Quite the clever creature, Ember is constantly observing his surroundings, and he often takes it upon himself to take on action in battle that Forrest didn't direct him to do. He may be shy socially, but in battle he is focused. His confidence wavers greatly, always landing somewhere between awful and good. There are days where Ember feels incapable of doing anything, and days where Forrest's confidence pulls him through every fight.
Ember has the tendency to agree with his trainer too much; in that sense, he is gullible. He follows Forrest everywhere and practically worships him. He is very defensive of the man who saved his life. Ember has an excellent memory, which is useful for both holding grudges and being grateful to others. Ember is known for being easygoing, always with the flow. He doesn't tend to speak up, even when he knows he should, out of fear.
An emotional and sensitive creature, Ember does not do well with being insulted or criticized by others. He takes every word to heart and has a hard time humor. He bottles his emotions up and lashes out in battle, though he could just as easily snap outside of battle.
Ember had a large family in which sharing was not a virtue. As a result, he finds himself often being greedy, though he sees no shame in this: he takes as much as he can and whatever is left over can go to others. He feels that his greed is justified and he's just making up for all the times he went hungry because he was tiny and too weak to fight for food.
NAME — Thyme
LEVEL — 5
SPECIES — Treecko
TYPE — Grass
EGG GROUP — Field
ABILITY — Overgrown
HELD ITEM — N/A
GENDER — Male
HEIGHT — 1'08"
WEIGHT — 10 lbs
MOVE LIST — Pound, leer
PERSONALITY —
+ Serious, curious, brave
- Snarky, sarcastic, sneaky
Thyme is not known for being kind or cheerful--on most days, he's serious as can be, unwilling to take a joke. He's been told to "Relax" and "Loosen up" more times than he can count, but he can't seem to shake it. He's curious, always hungry for more knowledge, and entirely unafraid of asking questions, even if they're not appropriate in any way. Every the brave Pokemon, Thyme has few qualms with going into dangerous situations, though he's sure to take proper precautions first, and he isn't afraid of very many things.
Thyme has several glaring flaws. He has this constant insatiable urge to give sarcastic responses to nearly every sentence spoken to him. It's his weird way of attempting humor, in a sense, but it's usually accompanied with an eye roll, so it's not easy to tell whether one is seeing a glimpse at Thyme trying to be funny, or if he's just being an ass. His snarky attitude doesn't help others in understanding him, though he doesn't seem to really care: He's always been irritable with others, especially those who are a bit slow (either physically or mentally).
As is natural for a Treecko, Thyme takes on a rather sneaky approach to battles and missions. He will take the route of least visibility and using his suction cupped feet, he gets around on walls and ceilings easily. He takes advantage of this, and it's not uncommon to see him with a candy bar or piece of fruit that he "found lying around" while on an adventure with him.
