NAME — Nil
LEVEL — Five
SPECIES — Absol
TYPE — Dark
EGG GROUP — Field
ABILITY — Super Luck
HELD ITEM — n/a
GENDER — Male
HEIGHT — 4'11"
WEIGHT — 140 lbs
MOVE LIST — Perish Song, Scratch, Leer, Quick Attack, Feint, Play Rough
PERSONALITY —
A quiet, often-grumpy creature, Nil is the first to admit that he dislikes most people. With a rather pessimistic world view, along with the experience of the stigma people often associate with his species, it's little surprise that he's so disillusioned with the world and the way everything works. While not an overtly aggressive creature, he can hardly be called friendly, and is notoriously suspicious of anyone that may approach him. Despite these traits, however, he feels oddly drawn to Dox -- or, by extension, anyone or anything that embodies that same, pure sort of naivety that the Morph possesses. There's not enough pure, good-hearted people in the world, and he feels fiercely compelled to defend Dox with all he has. That sort of innocence and good should be preserved, rather than soured by unhappy life experiences.
He won't go out of his way to make friends -- even with Dox, his acts of love and affection aren't exactly obvious, no matter how deeply he cares for her. But he's always there to keep an eye on his self-appointed charge, and he's always analyzing a situation with a more reserved, cautious eye than his trainer. Though he isn't much of a fighter, he's more than willing to fight on Dox's behalf, and would risk his own life if it ever came down to it. He wants to see her succeed in her mission, despite his doubts about whether such a thing is possible, and if that means he needs to become stronger to continue supporting her, he's willing to sacrifice his own ideals for her sake. Beneath that cold, grumpy exterior, there's an intelligent, caring father that only means well. It's just not very common to see his compassionate side.
NAME — Catori
LEVEL —
SPECIES — Duskull
TYPE — Ghost
EGG GROUP — Amorphous
ABILITY — Levitate
HELD ITEM — n/a
GENDER — Female
HEIGHT — 2'05"
WEIGHT — 33 lbs
MOVE LIST — Your Pokemon's move list. Pokemon are able to have up to six moves. For your starter, they can only know moves that they know up to level 5. Also, your starter is able to start with one egg move of your choice.
PERSONALITY —
Ironically, this Duskull is quite the scaredy-cat! Though she puts on a tough outward demeanor, it is quick to break under pressure, be it long standing, fearful tension or a sudden surprise. When taken by fear, this Duskull is quick to seek safety in the arms of another, often retreating to her trainer or bigger and stronger teammates- if there are any- for protection. That being said, Duskull is not useless when push comes to shove. Perhaps as a product of her fearful nature, she actually possesses quite the analytic mind. She is often the first to make heads or tails of situations and is quick to figure things out. Though that doesn't always make the fear pass any sooner!
NAME — Chusi
LEVEL — Three
SPECIES — Treecko
TYPE — Grass-type
EGG GROUP — Monster; Dragon
ABILITY — Overgrow
HELD ITEM — n/a
GENDER — Female
HEIGHT — 2’00”
WEIGHT — 12.5 lbs
MOVE LIST — Pound, Leer, Dragon Breath
PERSONALITY — Chusi’s father was a Salamence, and, though she never met him, she grew up hearing only wonderful, amazing stories about him from the Sceptile mother. Her mother may have exaggerated some of the more heroic, dramatic stories for the sake of a young, excited listener, but it left the Treecko starry-eyed and determined to prove that she could be just as powerful and heroic, since she had Dragon-typing in her heritage as well. Her egg move, Dragon Breath, is her pride and joy, and the go-to move for the young Treecko if a fight ever comes up.
Despite her confidence and her ambition to prove herself as a worthy descendant of a strong Pokemon, she’s still young, and tends to get in over her head more often than not. She can come across as overly aggressive, often instigating fights for the sake of fighting, rather than for the noble purposes her father was said to fight. She likes to think of herself as brave and powerful, but she’s actually quite clumsy, and tends to get rather frightened when facing foes that are bigger and stronger than her. Thus far, she’s had very little success actually winning any of the fights she starts – she tends to get beaten rather badly. One can’t say she isn’t persistent, however; she continues to try and try again and again.
Hopefully, as she matures, she’ll gain insight into just what sort of things are the right ones to fight for. One can only hope she’ll lose her arrogant streak and her tendency to rush into things without thinking as well. Underneath all of that, she has a good heart, and she does care deeply for Dox and wishes to protect her and what she stands for. Having more patient, rational companions will hopefully help accentuate the positives, rather than the negatives, of her nature.
