A JOURNEY THROUGH HYPERSPACE.

Ever since the Crux attack on Vega City, the entire Stellara region has been on edge. Trainers are more nervous than ever about traveling to and in the region. Security has been bumped up in all major cities and towns. There are several accounts of people going missing since the Gala. Plus, many eyewitness accounts attest that the legendary Pokemon Hoopa made an appearance at the Gala. At first, these accounts were met with extreme skepticism; however, once Hoopa was spotted at numerous locations, news concerning the legendary Pokemon rapidly spread, especially concerning Hoopa’s mysterious portals. Said to be created during Hoopa’s sporadic visit to the Vega City Gala, these portals appear to lead to alternate dimensions. Recent explorers of the portals have stated that the areas housed inside the portals encompass literally anything possible from forests, deserts, mountains, cities, seas, lakes and much, much more. Not only that, but there appear to be Pokemon that reside within the portals’ dimensions as well, and not all of them are friendly either. Hoopa’s hyperspace portals appear to be scattered all throughout the Stellara region, and many trainers are trying their luck at exploring the wormholes. Perhaps you would like to see the portals for yourself?

Somewhere in Eastern Stellara …

One of Hoopa’s portals hovered over an open field. It was a cloudless, sunny afternoon, complete with warm temperatures and blooming plantlife. Then, the portal distorted slightly. A purple arm emerged from the portal, followed by a thick leg. Eventually, a large, feline-like Pokemon floated out of the wormhole. He looked left and right before turning to face the portal he had just come through. Lifting a hand, he exerted a small amount of psionic energy towards the portal. The energy collided with the portal and sent rippling shockwaves cascading all throughout the field. After several moments, the Pokemon scoffed and grinned.

“Of course. These portals are of a Pokemon’s doing … but what kind? And here I believed myself to be the most powerful Pokemon in the world.”

Mewtwo laughed.

“But that was long ago.”

He looked around.

“I’m unfamiliar with this region. Still, if a Pokemon who is able to warp dimensions is here, then it will be worth my time to explore. There’s no telling what else I’ll find.”

The tall psychic-type peered up at the beautiful afternoon sky.

“It’s been far too long since I’ve been able to … enjoy myself. Traveling this region will do me good.”


With the recent developments, everyone will be able to gain DOUBLE EXPERIENCE from their threads! However, this bonus will only count for threads made on May 8, 2018 and onward until the event ends. Currently, there is no thread limit for this bonus; however, please do not try to abuse this. If people start abusing this bonus, then there will be an explicit limit set for it, and we don’t want to do that if we don’t have to.

Hoopa’s portals are able to be explored! If you wish to venture into one of Hoopa’s portals, simply make a thread anywhere in the IC boards and add [HOOPA EVENT] to the thread’s title. Once each participating member makes their introduction post, a staff member will come into the thread and post a prompt detailing what lies in the portal, including obstacles and enemies. It will then be up to the members to continue the rest of the thread on their own while staying true to the prompt given to them. At the end of the thread, members will be able to gain rewards based on the thread’s quality as well as how creative and engaging they were with their thread’s prompt. Also, there’s a chance that members might run into Hoopa himself!

Mewtwo has found his way to the Stellara region! Currently, he is interested in finding the creator of the mysterious portals scattered throughout Stellara, but there is no telling what else Mewtwo might get up to. Plus, there’s always a possibility of you running into him! He’ll show special interest in those who have managed to venture into the portals themselves …
